Bad Dw Characters Or..., Bad DW Players?

First topic in the DW forum! Yes!

Anyways, I'd like to hear peoples' thought on the subject of bad DW characters. Is it really that the characters are really bad or that the player himself/herself is bad?

My favorite character is Xiao Qiao. But no matter what forum I visit, many people talk about her and say she is a horrible character. I dont really understand it since personally I think she is the best female character. I can easily fight my way through any level and any enemy general.

I was once close minded and thought that certain characters were horrible. Yet, as I played and leveled up every character I found I like something about each and every one. Even Xu Zhu! I found myself thinking that the characters I thought were horrible actually were pretty good if given a chance. I have to admit though, playing certain characters in normal and hard is different. There are certain characters, such as Xu Zhu and Zhang Jiao, which are frustrating to play in more difficult levels.

Well what do you think?

yes, Xiao Qiao is my favorite female character, I don't know what people don't like about her. And Xu Zhu, I haven't used him except for his legend, but I didn't really find anything wrong with him except his speed. And Meng Huo's reach is terrible, even with the wind scroll, but I actually haven't seen that discussed on any topics about bad characters , but I still use him once in a while.

First, it is that some characters are bad, and just some players who don't put in enough effort.

As for Xiao Qiao, she is one of my favorite characters. I mean, she has two big fans, and is from Wu. What's not to love?

I must say there is only one truly terrible Dynasty Warriors character in my opinion. That would be Xu Zhu. Sure, he may have a good attack, but he is also extremely slow and has an annoying character body and voice.

That's how I feel. Some characters were just made bad. But, most times, it's the person.

One character who is utterly horrible, in my opinion, has to be Xu Zhu... I don't wanna even talk about him. As a Wei-ist, I'm very dissappointed by him.

Xu Zhu's attacks are powerful but is very slow and getting anywhere on the map as him takes quite some time. You have to give him a horse.

Actually Xu Zhu isnt bad if you give him a horse and play in normal or hard difficulty. In harder difficulties he easily gets pounded because he gets swarmed and moves to slow.

While I haven't tried him on harder difficulties I never found Xu Zhu to be that bad, his musou was rather useful in crowds.

Yes it is good for crowd clearing, but at the same time it leaves him open for attack.

The noise he makes while he is using his true mosou is also highly amusing!

lol yeah! He is amuzing to play as. On DW4 I like his self-announcement when he laughs and slaps his belly. Very funny.

I agree, Xu Zuh is strong and slow. The strongest character in DW4 is Ma Chao with a horse(Shadow hare isthe best for him because he can t fall from it) He can kick easyly all enemies asses!!!
