New Members, and old members

This board is slowing down a bit and that's okay but if we want it to really get going, we need more members and more topics. So if you can, try to bring more members in and also there are a lot of members that just haven't done anything. Don't be afraid to post new topics (or reply to older topics), it is greatly encouraged, and try to bring some more members. And if there's anything you think should be done to make this forum better, please post something about it, or PM me. Thank you.

Well I'm doing the best I can to bring in new members. I go and post in the Gamefaqs DW forum and have a link to this site on my signature. I plan to visit other sites and do the same. Hopefully we get a good flow.

And yes there are alot of members who dont post. I mean, out of 20 members I can think of only 4 who post or reply to posts on a regular basis. Come on people, start some threads and lets get this forum going.

I brought a few people in... But, give this forum time and it will grow. We need to get it out somehow....

Any suggestions on how to get the word out?

Darkmaster, could you put ads on websites or something. I could put a radio commercial on. My dad owns a station.

Well I just went to about 4 gaming forums and posted a link to this forum. Hopefully that will gives us some traffic.

I posted it once or twice on SoSZ, plus it's in my signature. So, hopefully people will read it...

I don't really have the money to host it, but I am currently working on a website that I am going to put it on, but like I said, I don't have much money so it'll probably be on Geocities . I suggested it to Yahoo and the directory system that Google uses (Altavista, Lycos and a lot of others use it too), but so far they haven't put it on.

That forum have only 39 members. I think there is simply too many RTK forum out there .

Yeah, but they are all (except a few) very intelligent. I'd rather have a few intelligent people here than thousands of idiots. You should see some of our debates in the hidden O.O.C. threads.

Yes, two new members just over the weekend, nothing special, but a nice jump for this forum. I actually know a few people who would love the cars forum, so I will invite them and hopefully get that one going so I don't have to delete it soon.

I think we should keep the topics we have until we have new members, then we can really see what people go for. If a forum starts falling behind, or just isn't used at all, delete it. But, there are a few threads we could add when things get going...

I added some sub-forums to the History one, because I originally meant this to be mostly about history, and there seemed to be too much else. If it eventually becomes useless, I might just get rid of the AMH forum, and just keep the sub-forums on the seperate periods of history. I applied for a partnership with China History Forum, if they accept we will have a bit more traffic, hope it helps..

Most of the registered members are from World's armed forces forum. Take a look and comment on it.

People that know about military stuff could be useful in the history forums, sounds good..
