1PW, 4FW, IPW, LDN and other promotions are joinng together to do a fund-raiser show.

trying to get hold of the management here seems hard, so if you guys want to be apart of this show, please email me danny@oneprowrestling.com

Personally before thinking of doing anything premature like this, i'd rather pray for Nik and hope he gets well and recovers. The severity of his injury isn't 100% known yet.

Certainly I will elaborate.
There has been no response to the post asking people for help. Indeed three posts did not refer to it at all - including your own which asked for details of another match.
Now, while you might want details, do you not consider it to be rather insensitive?
Someone has been severely injured yet, although there are pages expressing concern at another site, I am yet to see an official post here so long after the incident.
Again, feel free to delete. I'm told it happens often here with people who express a contrary opinion.
I shan't post here again. I feel it to be pointless. Just kindly delete my membership.

OK. I can see where you are coming from now.

I don't think there is any need to delete anything. I am welcome to good suggestions on how to rectify these things. Regardless of an official post or not, what happened has been acknowledged here and Venom has set-up another thread where most people are channelling for Nik and checking for updates.

As far as official threads go, there is also the thread on the UKFF where people who know Nik beyond C/W are talking about this. Nik did not just wrestle for C/W afterall.

I asked about the match here because this is still The Big Bang 5 thread, a show that still carried on despite what had happened.

Firstly, something you have to realise, some people have a life outside the internet. The CW promoter works excessively long hours (both day and night) on the weekend with no way of getting access to the net so I'm sure an 'official statement' will be posted today at some point. That doesnt mean people at CW haven't been worried for Nik's well being and they have been constantly enquiring as to how Nik is.
Secondly, thanks for visiting our forum, we will not delete your messages, there are no reason to, however I will delete your membership upon your request, sorry you feel this way.

As stated, we all care really deeply about this and I think you'll find alot of us have contributed to the UKFF thread to talk about the situation. At the moment people seem to be busy trying to grab at scapegoats over this and are missing the fact it was an awful, awful accident.

news just in.

A statement from CW promoter Anthony Thomas.

Sorry for taking so long to get onto here but has someone stated iv been working all weekend day and then night. However i have been in contact with the hospital regulary and nick and his family know this. My boss even gave me 3 hours off work yesterday to go down and visit Nick which was Nick's descion but then i received a phone call from his brother when i was getting ready saying it was family only for a few day's and i respected that desicion.

Regarding the match, i had actually booked a team from the midland's called the Hunter Brother's and not even when the car turned up late did anyone tell me that Nick was even wrestling, i hadnt even booked Nick for the show. Nick turned up and shook my hand at the back entrance and i thought he had come down has a spectator.

Has i was then warming up a bit has i was on later in the show myself i seen Nick dressed in his gear with his tag team partner, I then realised that the Hunter Brother's wernt there and these two wrestler's were replacing them.
Id stated on a sheet in the wall that no one was to go out of the ring and the next thing i know im being told that all 8 men were fighting outside of the ring not that this had anything to do with what happened in the ring but just no one had listened or actually read the sheet which was stuck on various parts of both changing room's.

As for the actual move i can not comment on has i was back stage has a referee informed me Nick was Hurt. First Aider's were then on the scene and i told the Mic man to stop the match, in fairness to all wrestler's involved they brawled outside the ring not knowing how serious Nick's injury's were until the match was stoped.
Id like to say how professional everyone was from wrestler's,referee's and the actual Venue. Thank's to first Aider Sweet Sugar who stayed and talked with Nick with other wrestler's like t bone and Mike Bird and a few other's untill paramedic's arrived.

I then had a very tough decision do i continue the show, and i thought if it had happened to me id have wanted it to go on and i think Nick would have wanted the same, no one had left and still wanted to see the finish show. I spoke with Jason Cross who's well respected in the wrestling game and i said if the wrestler's will do it we will go on. It was hard for everyone has everybody was still shook up but the remaining wrestler's showed how profesional they were and went out there.

A lot of fan's were shook up at the end but thanked us all for continuing the show.
What happened in the ring was a tragic accident, which could happen to any of us, and the fault of which lies with nobody. We all know the dangers that wrestlers face on a nightly basis, and an accident such as this could happen at any time.

Our thought's are all on Nick now and his recovery. The latest update i heard last night was that he had feeling back in his leg's and he was tensing his arm's, if i know Nick he's a fighter and we all wish him a fast recovery.

i find it quite sickening to come on these forum's today and certain individual's saying that they have contacted me about doing a charity show and i couldnt even reply, no one has contacted me and if anyone know's me id be the first one to help out has i do a lot for charity myself.

a big thank's to all different promotion's and wrestler's who have offered their services and im sure in time we can all come up with something spectacular but talking about it at the moment is a little bit premature has we should all put out thought's on Nick and his family and let's hope is full recovery.

We are all thinking of you mate

Unfortunately, I don't belong to the UKFF, but I would've honestly contributed if I'd been a member there. Regarding the posts by visitor, I admit I was nearly ready to respond in kind last night after reading them, but I thankfully decided not to, as it wouldn't have done me any favours at all.

I'm not sure what you are getting at Visitor. Can you elaborate if relevant?

1PW: The C/W Promotor contact is one of the pinned threads here

Rampage: Ta for the insight. Maybe I'll get to see the match sometime.
