Today's episode was absolutely awesome!! Spixie being front and center made my day. Diane and Max were really cute too.

I've kinda been on the "let's trash GH" boat lately but today really made me happy. I thought today was going to be horrible like it has been lately but DiMax..can you say freakin' adorable.

:)

Yesterday was a reminder of how good GH could be, but it also reminds me what a mistake they made killing off Alan and how they lost the focus on the core families, the Qs, Spencers, Scorpios and romance. I can't remember the last time I watched an entire episode of GH and didn't cringe.

I watched GH for the first time in nearly a year on the 24th.. well kind of... I kept switching back and forth between that and another show. Anyway, I am kind of surprised that you all liked it so much. I thought the whole Maxie/Spinelli playing Santa was way too hokey and kind of lame. GH was my fave soap because it was usually more realistic than all the others. Not like some light-herted fun and fantasy isn't nice every once in a while... but GH was always more relatable... until the mob took over that is. And as happy as I was to see Stuart/Alan it just made me more pissed off that they killed him off to begin with and only use him and the other vets when it suits them. They do this every Christmas - bring back the vets and our widely underused faves for a day or two and then go back to focusing on the mob or Sonny, Carly, Sam & Jason. I guess I am just tired of their one-trick poney. On a bright note, I enjoyed Carolyn's scenes though :)
