Yey omg.

'Oh no, it's seriously... Ohmigosh, ohmigosh... Motherfucker, oh... Oh!' Juri tripped. That was how she would start her brilliant first day at this new school. She would burst in with a graceful trip, and fall right on her face. Her bags and school supplies went flying everywhere, littering the front entrance. A few students larking about stopped to stare and snicker, yet Juri did her best to pay them no heed. Her cheeks, however, were flushed with a deep shade of scarlet, hot and nervous. 'Don't look at me.' She muttered to herself, making haste as she picked up all her fallen belongings. What an embarrassment!
Obviously bothered, Juri struggled inside the school, trying to remember where the dorms were located. She had been there just last week! How could she have forgotten so quickly? Maybe re-starting wasn't so easy as it looked. Other students watched, with mild curriosity as she passed through. Juri was different, with her slight stature, and her wild hair. Her body language practically yelled 'Fuck off, if you have nothing good to say to me!' Yet she made no eye contact with anyone, and did not say a word the entire journey up to the second-floor dorms.
God, this place was amazing! Even if it smelled a little odd, due to the stagnant, polluted water of Venice, it really was gorgeous. Sangue Plurimi itself was the best school Juri had ever seen. The special school made her own common private schools back in America seem... Dinky, for lack of more sophisticated words. There was no doubt Juri had always wanted to escape her daily routine at home, yet perhaps this was too big of a step.
On the last step leading up to the second floor, Juri's footsteps faltered. For one brief moment, she thought she was going to faint, or else trip again. The moment, though, quickly passed, and the teen continued on, biting the insides of her cheeks gently as she passed. Perhaps this was a mistake. Juri wasn't vampire enough to be here. Hell, she rarely considered herself one, at all. Stupid nightsight couldn't be a power any way. Yet she was constantly told that she could use it to her advantage. To hell with that!
This entire time, the teen vampire continued stepping, doing her best to locate her room among the various doors along the girl's second floor dorm area. "Eighteen.... Three-oh-six... Eleven... What the fuck?" Cursing, and muttering to herself, Juri kept an eye open for her room number. Why was everything so complicated.
Within the next thirty seconds, a massive number of things happened. Juri nearly went straight passed her own dorm, realized her mistake, doubled back, half rammed the door open, for lack of dexterity with full hands, and then nearly trodden on a small, brown creature. "What the - OH MY GOD!" The teen threw her hand up to her mouth, losing half her bags in the process. She had nearly stepped on the sweetest little dog she had ever seen. In response, it backed away, and yipped at her, clearly annoyed.
Meekly, she re-gathered all her belongings, and gave the dog a clear berth. It seemed as though someone else had been here before her. The entire right side of the room was clearly occupied, with personal belongings visibly staking her roomie's territory. Left side it was, then. And with that, Juri struggled over to her side, trowing things across her neatly-made bed. Awkward...

[ic;] Kumiko lazily walked down the hallway, her legs moving softly like a cat’s. She was bored, honestly, and she had yet to find where her friends had fled to. The only thing to do was head to her dorm and maybe hang out with Abbey, her little dachshund. Sighing, she tugged at her newly dyed hair. The left half of it was pink, as it was before she’d gotten to school, but the other half, still her original black color, had pink streaks with smaller, tiny red strips. She enjoyed messing around with her hair, but also color contacts for her eyes. Currently, the right eye had a monster contact, while the left eye had a very pale blue contact. It looked very odd, but Kumi enjoyed showing off her uniqueness, now matter how many school staff stared at her as she walked by.
With a yawn, Miko stepped in front of her dorm to find it open. She blinked twice, looking in with wide eyes to see a new girl in there, her arms piled with stuff. Must be the new roomie, Kumi thought, looking down to see Abbey looking quite uncomfortable. Her eyes swept across the stuff on the left side of the room, finally resting upon the girl that would be living with her for the rest of the year. Her eyes danced across her body, and she smiled. She was hot, though that didn’t necessarily mean anything with Miko. She’d flirt with you, tell you that you looked good but it never necessarily meant that you were getting anywhere with her. As well, Kumiko was still mourning the death of her last girlfriend. Then again, Laura wouldn’t have wanted her to stay depressed for the rest of her life, and Kumi figured she’d have to get out there and find someone new eventually.
Smiling her wolfish grin, Kumi walked over to sit on her bed, spreading her legs out in an ‘M’ (or ‘W’, depending on how you look at it) position, sitting at an angle so she could see this girl’s face. Great body, great face, she thought. This was, surprisingly, normal for pretty much everyone that Miko found she would be spending more time with. It didn’t usually mean anything, it was usually just Kumi being a slut and mind-perv. No, just kidding. She just examined people’s looks before anything else, it seemed. "Abbey, c‘mere, girl," she called, and the long-bodied puppy trotted over and attempted to jump up on the bed. She fell backwards with a yelp, but tried once more, with the same results. Kumiko giggled, but tried to suppress it with a hand over her mouth. Finally, when the dog tried it for a third time, Miko grabbed her collar and pulled her up on the bed. Now that she was next to Kumiko, the dachshund went into protecting-mode, and stood proud with her chest out, ready to defend. What a good watchdog.
"I‘m Kumiko," she introduced herself, silently mad at herself for such a lousy introduction. "What‘s your name, babe?" she asked, looking up at her new roomy with her odd eyes. No, she didn’t mean anything by the ‘babe’--Kumi enjoys calling most girls ‘babe’ or ‘chick’ or something like that. It was just her thing, and it could almost be said she was a womanizer for it. But, that wouldn’t make any sense, now would it?

OOC;
I'll get the other thread up while I'm at school, prolly <3
IC;
Carefully, deliberately, Juri set to work on organizing her belongings. She had a massive amount of stuff, almost to the point of it being ridiculous. Yet she took the time to organize each bag into piles, peeking in them now and again before placing them aside. It was her way of 'pre-organizing'. The teen had a thing for setting her belongings into groups, before actually putting them away. In fact, it made the whole lot messier, but if done properly, the end result was usually almost perfect.
Being so concentrated in her work, Juri hadn't really noticed her room-mate walk in. Well, she certainly did have a sense that someone else had entered, but they were neither noisy, nor nosy. They. Well, Juri was certain of the gender of her roomie. The rules clearly stated that girls were to be separated from guys, and vise-versa. No school ever wanted babies popping up, if they could help it.
"Abbey, c‘mere, girl,"
It might have not been her name, but Juri responded. Slowly, almost casually, she turned her head, eyes settling first on the dog. Abbey, the dog nearly trodden on, seemed to happily obey, running up to the bed on which her owner was seated. Juri watched, a lopsided grin on her face, as the puppy made several attempts to jump up onto the bed. A very awkwardly shaped puppy, plus a relatively high bed could not end with good results.
By now, Juri's eyes had wandered up to her new room-mate's. Surprised, she drew in her breath, a sharp, jerky motion threatening to make her lose her composure. She had not expected to be paired with someone so... Bold.
"I‘m Kumiko," If Juri thought she was bold, Kumiko was even more so. From her make-up, to her clothing, to her attitude, she was almost like a Juri, tripled, and then some more. Her roomie was pretty, and was secure with it. Although most would associate such looks with insecurity, Juri strongly doubted this was the case with Kumiko. Yet, as Juri passed over the stage of feeling threatened by this potential competition, she continued to look on, awed, in a sense. There was no way she would have ever been able to pull off that hair. In fact, Juri had never even bothered to dye it. It seemed dark was in, and it was readily available to her. But the eyes were what really attracted Juri; two different, two very bold colors, that certainly could not be natural to the other girl. However, the look suited her in a way Juri could not explain it.
"What‘s your name, babe?" With this, Juri gave a slight, involuntary twitch. It was an odd pet-peeve that she had. Being called pet names by strangers really didn't have a good effect on the teen. Silently, she vented her annoyance. Two seconds passed, and she was re-composed, cool and calm. Well, as cool and calm as a very flustered, rather stressed teenager could get. "Juri. Nice to meet you." A cool sort of smirk settled on her lips. If she could help it, Juri didn't smile. Her grin was lopsided, quirky, and very odd looking indeed. It broke her elusive, charming attitude.
'Stoooooop...' No! She couldn't seem like she was flirting with her new roomie. 'Gah!' Naturally, Juri really was a bit of a flirt. She flirted about in a casual sort of way. But still. She didn't want to creep her new room-mate out. No. That was bad. Very. Very. Bad. So in order to help herself, Juri switched the subject. "Cute dog. I'm really sorry I nearly stepped on her, coming in." She chewed her cheeks slightly, now turned around to fully face her room-mate. After a moments wait, she continued to babble on. "Haha, I guess I can be kinda clumsy when I'm nervous." 'Shut up... Stop talking... You're making a fool of yourself.' Obviously, she talked a lot in awkward situations as well.

[ic;] Juri seemed…insecure? Kumiko believed that was the correct word for her. She watched with a soft smile at her roommate’s antics, particularly her twitch at being called ‘babe.’ This girl was gonna have to get used to Kumi, because she didn’t change for anyone. She did what she did, acted crazy, dressed how she wanted to, and didn’t care who liked it and who hated it. That was just how Miko was, and she wasn’t changing for the world. In fact, she enjoyed others’ reactions at how she dressed, which was one of the reasons she was finding Juri so entertaining. Yep, entertaining--that’s how she saw her new roomy, and was starting to realize this was going to be a fun year.
Miko nodded to the nice to meet you, hardly paying attention to words but looking closely into Juri to see what she was truly thinking. She saw that lopsided smile, and Kumi…loved it, really. So different, so bold…yes, it was amazing. Is…she flirting with me a little bit? Kumi asked herself, trying to figure it out. She was pretty sure that was what was happening, and loved it. And they think separating the boys and girls will solve problems.
"Cute dog. I'm really sorry I nearly stepped on her, coming in." Oh, so she’d nearly stepped on Abbey? Odd. No wonder the dog seemed to be almost glaring at Juri. The small smile on Kumi’s face spread, reflecting a laugh, listening as Juri continued to babble. Kumi didn’t talk just yet. She was dissecting her words, and not just the words themselves but the way she said them and the way her face changed with each word. Miko was very much like that when it came to human emotions and such--it was part of what made her such a good flirt and seductress. If you had no idea what the person on the other end of the conversation was thinking, then there was no hope for you.
Finally, Kumiko spoke. "You‘re uncomfortable, aren‘t you?" she asked, blinking up at the girl with a sincere expression. By the end of this meeting, Miko planned to make Juri totally comfortable in her presence, able to feel completely wonderful close to her. Either that, or Kumi would totally traumatize her and freak Juri out to the point where she needed therapy. There was a 50/50 chance. "Just have some fun--you need it," she told her with another wolfish grin, holding out her words a little bit to lure Juri in. It was all a game, it really was for Kumiko.
"Talk."

ooc;; Yeyuh. No table, since I'm at schoooolzors.
ic;;
Okay. So maybe it wasn't the talking, but more of the babbling. Random, pointless words flowed out of her mouth, refusing to stop, although she willed herself to shut up. Either that, or say something clever. Juri was more of a quiet type, never really bothering to speak up, when she could listen. It wasn't that she was really that shy, she just didn't speak up if she had nothing better to say. To her, that concept was plain and simple. She kept her thoughts to herself, rather than blurt of whatever.
"You‘re uncomfortable, aren‘t you?" "Excuse me? Except for that time. Juri felt the words slipping from her, before it could be prevented. For a few heartbeats, she stood there, motionless, jaw slightly agape. It was actually somewhat comical; her pretty face twisted into a look of utter disbelief. Never in her lifetime had anyone been so bold, upfront or truthful with her. They had never been so right, either.
For a moment, it looked like Juri would explode; just completely bitch-out. The result, however, was complexly different. A small, sad smile, the quirky kind, crossed her face. Her nose crinkled for the briefest of moments, before deciding to reply. "Ha, I suppose." Her shoulders rose and fell, a simple gesture of defeat. "I don't know, I've just never been in this sort of situation before... You know. Dramatic change."
She fell back onto her bed, pulled up her legs, and crossed them Indian-style. Hm. Time for a nice talk. Or else now she would have a chance to take a breather. Indeed, Juri quickly found out that if she wanted to survive this school year, she would have to sort herself out. In fact, the sorting would likely go the same way as she would sort her belongings, later on. She just had to figure out where to start. Alas, it was obvious that sorting herself out did not start with fretting and fidgeting. Silly girl; she never really learnt how to sit still. In one way or another, she was constantly moving about. Whether it was jiggling her legs to an unknown beat, or playing with her fingers as she was doing now, Juri had to do something.
Finally, she stopped, allowing the awkward silence to consume her. Within this time, she thought about what Kumiko said. What she really had said. ’She read me like a book. Am I really that… Predictable?’ Could she be? Was she? Juri allowed this question to rotated about within her head. ’Is she for serious? Oh gawd, I’ve been really snarky. Juri, what the hell’s wrong with you. You’re not a bitch.’ True. She might have held herself aloof, but she wasn’t mean. Eventually, a tinkling laugh fell from her lips, like a fountain bubbling over. "I'm not usually like this, you know." Her shaped brows furrowed, in mock-seriousness. "Give me time. I promise I can do better." Yes. It was an official vow. And she would never admit that she had said it, either. This would be between her and Kumiko. Her new roommate. Or rather, Juri was the new one. But no matter. Perhaps this was to be the start of a good friendship, or else a very awkward year at school!

[ooc;] And here’s the yet still getting crazier Kumiko! xD
Table by Kayce
[ic;] “Excuse me?” Kumiko looked curiously at Juri’s twisted expression, trying to keep a straight face but eventually breaking into yet another grin. She’d cracked the shell, broken through the ice, and Kumi felt a celebratory dance coming on. Happy dance, she thought to herself with almost insanity. The girl only half listened to her roomy’s explanation, watching her legs fidget curiously. As if she couldn’t stand it anymore, Miko sprang up, smiling at Juri’s comment. "Be yourself, girl, it‘s all I ask," she said, twirling around on her tiptoes, arms raised above her head, and giggled with happiness once she stopped.
"We need to have some fun," Kumiko decided, looking around the room with a pout. There wasn’t much to do in a dorm, then again…there could be a million things you could do. Licking her lips absentmindedly, finding the lipring she had put in that morning, she eyed Juri, begging for an idea. Miko needed something to do or else she’d die of the boredom creeping up on her. How does this happen to me, Kumiko thought, dropping down to sit next to Juri on the bed. She slowly dragged her legs up to her chest, wrapped her arms around them, and laid her head on her knees to look up at the girl with her dazzling, odd-colored eyes. Her solid pink hair fell in front of her face, streaking her face with its striking color.
"What do you propose we do, Oh New Roomy of Greatness?" she asked, blinking her eyes repeatedly to feint innocence. Perhaps, yes, she had began flirting just a little bit more, but this was quite normal for Kumiko. She was enjoying Juri’s company…dorky as that sounds. She saw something in this girl that made her leap up with joy, and Kumi found it was pretty unlikely to find such a thing. Yes, there were people that she liked, people she saw life in, but rarely did she find someone that, just upon their very sight she felt a little spark inside of her. It was a good feeling, too, one Kumiko hoped would never leave.

OOC;
Thurrr. I think this is a decent post :/ Thought it was longer, though.
IC;
Juri prayed that the turnout would be friendship. She needed friends. The teen practically thrived on the knowledge that she wasn't alone. As much as she never really got close to people, she was fine as long as she knew there would be someone there to back her up. It was a part of her insecure personality. It was what made Juri so un-Juri like at the moment. She hated it, really; knowing that the scared Juri within, always lurking in the pit of her stomach, was slowly conquering her, wholly. Body, mind and soul. She wasn't in her element, and this alternate teen-aged girl was taking control.
Did this mean she had to plan to take back the power over herself? The idea was ludicrous, but somehow, it sort of did make sense. It would take a while, likely, but Juri knew she could not continue to be the clumsy, babbling fool she was now. No. She had worked so hard to become who she was, in her previous life. Not popular, but well liked. If not well liked, then respected. Of course, it wasn't for anything good. Being a teenage, bisexual slut never really gave anyone a good impression, but Juri didn't really exploit it. She never really liked to be touched, and therefore kept herself away. People had admired the way she carried herself out; so bold and commanding, while at the same time, making sure no one felt like a slug, when standing next to her. It was a gift, Juri had. She was mature enough to humble herself around others, yet strong enough to steal the show when the timing was right. She worked in complicated ways.
On the outside, physically, she made no reaction as her room-mate fell in place beside her bed. It creaked softly, groaning with the extra weight, unaccustomed after long months of being unoccupied. Juri, however, on the inside, panicked for one fleeting moment. Kumiko couldn't sit there! It was too soon! In her head, Juri shied away, mentally trying to flee, as a feeble blush crept across her cheeks. Bashfully, she looked away, looking down at the floor before her. One heartbeat, two heartbeats, three heartbeats finally passed, before Juri looked up, bolding staring into the face of the girl beside her.
'Breath-taking...' There was something about Kumiko Juri admired, yet she could not quite put her finger on it. The way she carried herself, personality and physically, it was something Juri practically envied. Not envied, perhaps, but adored. Juri was awe-struck, in a sense; nearly smitten. However, she had self control, and kept those thoughts if not to herself, then to a minimum.
"What do you propose we do, Oh New Roomy of Greatness?" Juri giggled, her long, thin fingers crossing over her mouth, as she smiled. For one moment, she was tempted to just shrug, to obey the cautious, hesitant alter-Juri, but instead, she blurted out, "Lets go run across the halls in our underwear, and give everyone something to talk about!" Yep, it was definitely some stupid thing only Juri would say. "Just kidding. Unless you really did want to." Oh, that really did remind her of the movie 'Dodge Ball', one of her favorite movies. Silly Ben Stiller. She practically worshiped his movies.
Grinning, Juri cocked her head, waiting for a responce. Surely, Kumiko could take a joke. And not think that she was completely brain-dead. Kumiko, however, seemed to be someone that could take things in stride. Juri really did want to get to know her, be friend or something of the likes. Surely, they would make a good match, anyway.
