Appearance

Juri can look like a bit of a slut, but don't get her wrong. She just likes the attention; negative or positive. Her cloths, however, and generally fashionable, and up to date with the world's trends. For her, every little bit of her must be in top condition, and look it's best.
Generally, she wears her naturally dark brown hair short, bangs off to the side, and the rest often flipped out. She has sort of a timeless face, with high curving brows, appealing cheekbones, and a high-bridged nose. Her eyes are cat like - a dark sea of brown without end. A pool one could drown in, if not weary around her.
Alas, you may have to look down into those dark beauties, as she's not terribly tall. However she is well proportioned. Quite slender, she can often hold her own, and does her best to seem independent.
A fragile girl of sorts, she enjoys being out doors as much as possible. Her skin is oddly tan, almost to a point of looking fake. Almost, but not quite. She's able to stand a bit more sunlight than most others, but it hardly matters, really.

Personality

Strong willed and independent, Juri is not one to be pushed around. In fact, she does most of the ordering and bossing. She can be loud and demanding; passionate about her goals and desires. Slightly self-centered, she's more likely to think of herself rather than others first. She may have multiple love interests, but non serious. Juri does not attach herself to others, if she can help it. And she does this by, at times picking fights, or purposely agitating those around her. But she can make a friend or two, and she does have a decent social-life. And as quirky as she seems, she gets even odder. To some, anyway.
Juri is also attracted to both males and females. Years of debating what her sexuality has led her to become bisexual. And she has no problem with it. She does not flaunt, or exaggerate it. As it is part of her personal life, she keeps it to herself, being the secrets keeper that she is. She just doesn't feel comfortable opening up to others, and can come off as shy and bashful at times. Depending on her mood, really. In fact, she goes through a variety of moods daily, being the moody one that she is. One moment, Juri is as likely to be as insane hyper, as she is to be shy and meek the next.

History

Juri was brought up in a big city, far away from her apparent Russian roots. Knowing only the English language, she hardly considered herself foreign or different from anyone else. In her family, she was an only child, and spoiled rotten. However, she was deprived of much attention, and frequently took to wandering the streets by herself. As a young girl, she had a hard time getting close to others, and had an almost extreme fear of being touched, in any way.
This made other children keep their distances, yet there was always someone currious enough to want to get to know her. She was elusive and mysterious. It would have been hard for anyone not to want to say they knew her. So she was a popular kid, of sorts. Not that she particularly cared. In a sense, Juri was very passive growing up. She accepted things as they came and went, and in a way, she still does today.
Quiet when it came to talking, she was relatively loud in the was she dressed. It was her way of expressing herself, even at an early age. In fact, at one point, she had a stage where she went through using heavy make-up, in the sort of 'gothic' look. However, Juri quickly found out that she was not a goth, since it also provoked the whole 'vampire' topic. It was a thing that Juri never really felt secure announcing. She liked to pretend that she was average; basic, in some ways. Juri wanted to be unique as much as she wanted to fit in. Who wanted to be the girl who people whispered about, with the words "Look at that extreme vampire chick. Ohmigawd" on their lips. She'd rather be the kid of girl that turned heads, and people on.
Then, she was eventually sent away to boarding school. Her parents had no time for her, hanging around home all day. Off she went, a little grumpy yet still the same old Juri. Distant, aloof and she still dressed as provocative as ever. Yet, school wouldn't be too bad, would it? There would be others like her... Maybe she'd even find the chance to open up. That was Juri's real problem. She was insecure, although she'd never admit it. Yet high school was a time for change, right? Secretly, in a way, Juri really did want to change. As a new transfer student, this was the perfect opportunity for young miss Aleckseeva. She knew no one, and now had the opportunity to start fresh. How it would go, however, was another story all together.
