I need input from you guys, because I've been working on this and the Next board and need to decide on this before you guys reach the amount. I'm in the midst of making my Third Character (Whom is a ghost) but I've been debating whether you guys should be able to get ghost guys or not.

The Problem is this:

Ghost characters, while allowing for a Really new level of play, require to also know alot more than your average RPer would. So, to get one, I would need to PM you, and maybe even decide if you can really be fit to play one... Not only that, but There's only one way they can 'escape', and that's a way only three (Maybe four) are probably gonna get to experience. Otherwise, they can only help NPCs escape...

And then theirs Third Characters as well. On the next board, I really don't want to see you guys jump in with all the same guys. I want to see some new guys as well, but also some oldies return. The Problem is just that The board pretty much go like this...

Escape from Ship (current Board) --->One to Two days---> Arrive in Port Naom (Next Board)

There's really no time for character Development, but this needs to really be done...

So, should I keep the Third Character but Eliminate ghosts, or Eliminate Third All together?

I dont know, i reckon a few player controlled ghost characters could be workable and defenetely could be fun! Suitability is still for you to decide....and i dont think anyone is gonna get to 1000 before escaping....Just cause im skeptical...

I'm all for ghost characters, not least of which because...well...*hugs ghost character concept already in development*

...besides, whether or not the ghosts escape, it'd still be an entertaining play experience just to try and help NPC's escape. (Or if you're not a nice ghost, to try and screw up NPC's escape attempts!)

Edit: I sort of agree with DW on the ghost character thing anyway, it's unlikely that everyone will reach 1000 before the end of the board...only inveterate lurkers like me XD

I'm going with the option to allow both, since it will give us something to hope for, y'know? Even if there isn't enough time to get 1000 posts, it's kind of a challenge!
