 Reciprocating Engine Room, Powers the seal doors...

The Reciprocating engines are the engines used to power the large, watertight seal doors on all levels of the ship. Should a leak happen somehow, this room is sealed the tightest of all and powers the other doors to lock off the water...

There was no sign of either, though William's vision of the ship showed that this was one of the most rusted of places, and that the engine, which was running, looked as if it could barely run at all! Ready to fall apart any second.

There were also red sparks coming from the Electrical room...

"well, we're buggered." William muttered, looking at the engine.

"is what I'm seeing now the real condition of the ship, or just how it will end up if we don't get this damn jewel?" he asked Rose as he walked towards the electronics room.

Suddenly, William's radio went to relay a message, as Dominic's words could be heard, but amongst a loud burst of static. Without warning, electrical strands sparked off the radio as it shorted out...

"piece of shit." William snarled, smacking the radio against his palm in a vain attempt to sort it out. he shook his head, clipped it back onto his belt and had a look into the electrical room.

"have you got a radio I can borrow?" he asked.

"no idea, bloody thing's fried." William replied.

tuning the radio to the relevant channel, he tried to get hold of Dominic.

"Dominic, come in. this is William, can you repeat your last transmission?" he said into it.

"...and Boiler Room five's getting a bit waterlogged."

"What...?" The engineer said upon hearing that...
