Unlike the First Class Hallways that appear right out of the Titanic, and the Third Class hallways that are little more than White walls and pipes, The Second Class hallway looks like a modern hallway from a modern hotel. Simple rug that runs the length of the hall and Wooden walls, it also has the needed fire alarms and Cameras...

Yuki let out an irritable sigh at the long trek to the swimming pool, but still carried on towards it, she wasn't going to waste the private time she'd booked in it after all...

William kept following, wondering if the passenger knew how little he cared about killer stairs.

Chances are he probably didn't... but the man seemed to be leading him to stairs a little ways away before stopping near them. "These are the stairs, look!" he said, pointing to them...

William looked at the stairs the man was pointing at.

"they don't look very alive." he said.

The may not have looked alive... but they did look strangely mangled, like the railing had curved in on itself, dripping with some blood, which would explain the red stain on the man's leg. A step also seemed to be missing...

"They were when we tried to climb! My wife was nearly killed!"

William frowned slightly and walked down the stairs.

"I trust she's receiving medical treatment?" he asked, examining the mangled railing.

"Of course! I took her right to the nearest hospital on the ship."

The Railing seemed to be curved around, something not easily done by a man or woman... or ten men. It would take great strength to do this, unless it bent on it's own...

Which unless William was mistaken, it seemed to be doing, bending on it's own slowly back into place...

William backed away from the railing and watched it, trying to remember if there was an alternate staircase that could be used if this one were closed.

"good to hear, I think you should check yourself in too." he said to the man.

"I'll get this sorted out, and have a full report written up. I might have to come to you for a statement, mr..?" he added, saying the last word as a question.

"well Mr Veran, I'll make sure this staircase is closed, and I'll have a work with the captain about some compensation for you and your wife." William said.

he unclipped his walkie talkie and tuned it to the maintenance channel. "this is Harris, can I get a team to close staircase <whatever the reference number is> asap?" he said into it.

The staircase was E-5, and a reply came over from the engineers, "Not those again! be over quickly."

Francis on the other hand nodded to William. "Good to know. I'd get the rest of your stairs checked as well, or I may have to get the federal government involved in how unsafe your ship is..." he said before leaving...

"yeah, I'll get right on that." William muttered as Francis left. he lent on the wall and awaited the maintenance team's arrival.
