Calypso's Wrath > C Deck > Enquiry Office

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 2 2007, 11:31 PM
The Enquiry office is about the same size as the Pursers office, but has a different purpose. If crimes are commit aboard the ship, or someone reports a theft and the thief is found, the evidence is compiled there and people are questioned here until they reach port...

William headed in and approached whoever was manning the office.

"I need to check the CCTV tapes for a lost child." he said, giving the most plausible reason he could think of.

Posted by: Border Walker Nov 4 2007, 03:17 PM
The Guard at the station looked up to William and pointed to a door in the back, "They're all back there," He said...

"thanks." William said, heading through the door.

Posted by: Border Walker Nov 4 2007, 03:27 PM
Entering the other room, William could see the Many different CCTV screens fixed on different parts of the ships, as well as stacks of videotapes with labels and a few computers to remotely control the cameras...

William headed for whichever screen covered the top of the grand staircase, and started reviewing the tape, looking for the pink haired girl around the time he'd been told she was there.

as space has little to no idea how these machines work, thats as descriptive as its going to get.

Posted by: Border Walker Nov 4 2007, 03:37 PM
Well then aren't you glad I've watched so many episodes of Las Vegas...?

William soon found the file for the tape on the computer, and was easily able to replay the time slot on the screen. William could see on the camera the little girl mentioned, sitting and crying at first, but then getting up and holding out her hand as if someone was there, heading for the Elevators...

William switched to the camera in the lift to see which floor she got out on, and continued like this for a while till he reached the current time.

Posted by: Border Walker Nov 4 2007, 03:52 PM
William could see her go from the Lift, up to the Boat Deck, then to the Promenades, which didn't have a camera sadly, and then back into the staircase, but when entering the staircase, William could see the little girl holding something small and sparkling...

Posted by: space butler Nov 4 2007, 03:55 PM
William figured it was the jewel, and kept going with the cameras till he found where the girl was at the moment.

Posted by: Border Walker Nov 4 2007, 03:57 PM
The Girl continued on to going to her room, which didn't have cameras in for guest privacy, but William could clearly see the number...

Survivors:

Posted by: space butler Nov 4 2007, 04:00 PM
William checked the number, and began trying to think of an excuse to talk to the girl and hopefully Rose.

Posted by: Border Walker Nov 4 2007, 04:01 PM
Nothing came to mind of a reason why, as William could see the Room was on E-Deck...

Posted by: space butler Nov 4 2007, 04:06 PM
William figured he's make something up on the spot. he tried to get a look at what the room number was, and wondered if there was a way to access the passenger list from here.

Posted by: Border Walker Nov 6 2007, 10:05 PM
He could see the number and the only reason I've been avoiding saying it is because the owner of the room never explicitly said what number. William can see it.

As for pulling up the passenger list, that is very possible at the computer, and doing so reveals that the owner of the place is an Alan Dowry...

Posted by: space butler Nov 6 2007, 10:21 PM
William turned and left the room.

"thanks." he said to whoever was on the desk as he passed.

Posted by: Border Walker Nov 6 2007, 10:23 PM
"Whatever," The guard said, flipping through a newspaper about alot of islands who have recently disappeared in a large fog...

William has left the Enquiry office for the Grand Staircase - C-Deck

Dominic blinked in confusion at the sudden change of scenery, looking around to try and figure out where he was.

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 15 2008, 12:23 AM
The room seemed to be fine, appearing much like it had, albeit with the sound of soft music coming fro overhead and chatter from outside the room. He could almost recognize it as the Enquiry Office, but different in a way...

He could see outside the office a crowd of people in what appeared to be the Grand Staircase, intact, everyone wearing clothing from the era of the original Titanic, along with the White Lifejackets...

"Hmm, cheery view" Dominic commented, taking a step in and taking two more swings, though the first was meant more as a feint and diversion so he could hit with the second.

Posted by: Border Walker Apr 13 2008, 12:02 AM
The feint worked, as Dominic was able to strike Jones (Jones -6) and cause him to step back...

"You know, the point of a duel is that we have to actually duel...hiding in a corner crying doesn't really constitute duelling..." Dominic called out, walking down the stairs to the part of the ship Davey Jones had disappeared in as he continued to look around for him.

Posted by: Border Walker Apr 22 2008, 02:37 PM
As Dominic wandered around looking for Davey Jones, Natalie suddenly screamed "LOOK OUT!" But it was too late, as Davey brought his sword into Dominic's back and through his gut (Dominic -95)...

Dominic, as perhaps most people would do given the situation, looked down in silent surprise at the sword sticking out of his stomach.

Posted by: Border Walker Apr 22 2008, 04:18 PM
Natalie let out a loud gasp at the sight as well, since he was but a foot away from her. Davey laughed, and leaned in, whispering in Dominic's ear...

"Ye Fool-hearty landlubber. Was your funeral to challenge a pirate such as I..."

Davey Sharply removed his sword with a quick swipe and kicked Dominic down to the ground, knocking Dominic's sword out of his hand and away from him. Davey brought his sword down to rest on Dominic's back, just enough pressure to show he was here... (Dominic -3)

When he'd coughed the blood out of his mouth, Dominic sighed and forced out the words as best he could. "Even if you... kill me, it won't change the fact that you're Calypso's bitch, and... will be for all eternity... Nothing worse....than someone who doesn't realise they're...just a bad joke"

Posted by: Border Walker Apr 22 2008, 05:22 PM
"Why you son of a-"

Davey was cut short by the sudden sound of a sword slicing through flesh, organs, meat, and bone, and coming out the other end. Should Dominic have attempted to look, He would have seen the very sword he had dropped, now driven through the head of Jones, from ear to ear, his face stuck in a permenant state of shock. There was no one holding the sword, as Davey dropped his own sword before Dominic, staggering backwards. The ropes around Natalie faded as she rushed over to Dominic, grabing some medical supplies from her coat and applying them to the wound (Dominic +30) (Jones -66)

"Ugh, the hell just happened?" Dominic mumbed, pulling himself to his feet and picking up Davey Jones' sword as he did so. Turning to see Davey in such a state Dominic shrugged.

"Well, best not to waste time I'm sure" he said, driving the sword into Davey Jones' chest.

Posted by: Border Walker Apr 22 2008, 05:39 PM
As Dominic drove the sword into Davey Jones' Chest, the resulting force was a blast of Supernatural energy. The sword that had Driven itself in Jones' skull melted into energy that seeped into Jones' sword, as Jones' let out a cry of pain and was seeped into the very sword as well, the force of the power from the imbalance enough to knock anyone back, but Dominic's hand seemingly stuck to Davey's sword.

Soon, the world itself began to melt away, the supernatural energy seeping back into Davey Jones' sword. The sword began to glow, and the energy began to seep into Dominic's arm. The sword glowed with an unnatural color, as the world went dark, before flashing back into the Enquiry office of the Calypso, the sword and Dominic's arm burning with smoke from the power influx...

"What just happened?" he mumbled, mostly to himself, as he inspected the sword and the smoke coming from his freaking arm! That couldn't feel good...

The smoke continued to sizzle as the sword seemed to pulse, the smoke soon ending as Natalie just stared, eyes wide.

Many many thoughts tumbled through Dominic's head at the sight, ranging from 'oh god another ghost, she's probably going to kill me horribly' to 'hmm, threesome'.

Though in the end, his currently fried brain incapable of thinking of anything better to say, Dominic just continued to sit there looking over his shoulder at her. "...aren't you cold?"

Dominic was, quite frankly, at a loss for words. Indeed most higher brain functions appeared to have stopped as the combination of the rest of this messed up day and this bizarre situation had left him looking rather dazed...

"Slutty bitch!" Natalie called, slapping the woman across the face before anyone could do anything...
