Calypso's Wrath > B Deck > Resturant

The Restaurant has many a tables set out with cloths and setting on for patrons to easily grab a seat and dig in. It's really only open three times a day, but if one is lucky, they might get a snack if they wish...

Henry gave the room a quick scan. It had been precisely 3 minutes, 27 seconds since he had sat at the table and still no waiter had approached him. He tapped his fingers against the edge of this wooden surface laid before him, letting out a slight huff. He moved rather uncomfortably along the 2 by 4 square below him, better known as a 'Chair'...

Maybe one of the reasons Henry had been slow was because he had arrived to the Resturant a little late for Breakfast, but soon enough, one of the waiters came over, appearing rather French and even speaking with a Pure French accent.

"Good day Meisure, how may I serve you?"

Henry raised one of his bushy eyebrows, almost in digust at such a posh man, of posh taste and voice. He had half a mind to make a 'Holy Grail' reference, but felt it would be in bad taste. After all, he'd be offended if somebody knew his father was a Hamster.

"Could I have the menu for breakfast if that's not too much trouble, please?"

The Waiter handed henry one of the many menus he had in hand for the Breakfast meals available, and waited in a very high class pose for him to make his decision...

Henry kept his mouth closed, but slowly grit his teeth, trying not to stand up and punch the man. Eventually, Henry slid his finger at least 16cm up the first page, pointing at a meal underneath the heading 'Breakfast'.

"I'll have the potato scones and sausage, with a fried egg."

"Very Well meisure, Would you like a drink with that?" the french Waiter asked...

Henry muttered under his breath, angriliy and using mostly curse words. Shortly afterwards, he calmed himself down and sat back in his seat to relax...

Henry didn't have to wait long before another Waiter, this one appearing more American middle class, came with his plate and set it down on the table. "Here you go, Sir," he said before heading back...

Henry waited a moment, before rather greedily tucking into his Breakfast, however late it happened to be.

Soon enough, the breakfast was indeed finished, ad Henry could already feel full from the meal...

Henry placed a hand over his stomach, but was still eager to have his Coffee. As such, he reached for it with his other hand, drinking it in sips at regular intervals as to drink it while it was warm but no burn his lips to the point of them becoming molten magma...

Henry placed the mug back down on the table, having finished draining it of it's contents. He then decided to wait patiently for the bill...

Wayne looked around the room for a table. Noticing one near a window, he went and sat down, looking out over the ocean with disinterest. After about a minute, he looked back at the room, waiting for a waiter.

A Waiter soon came, carrying what looked to be two different menus...

"Sir, Would you prefer a lunch, or Dinner Menu?"

He had already eaten lunch, so in his steady, monotone voice, he told the waiter, "I'll take the dinner menu, thanks."

The waiter handed Wayne a Dinner Menu, "What would you like to drink?"

"Just a coffee please, cream and sugar."

He quickly scans through the menu, looking at the different options, eventually deciding. "And I'll have the soup of the day, thanks."

"Right away, and would you prefer a salad, or bread as your apatizer?" The Waiter asked...

"I'll go with the salad." Having said this, he readjusted his glasses and looked out the window again.

The Waiter walked off, as Wayne could see the Ocean for miles, and nothing but...

((Just realised I was supposed to reply to that...))

Wayne continued to look out the window, although there was nothing interesting outside, unless you liked water. After a while, his mind started to wander, thinking more about the work he was going to have to do when he got back to Nevada than anything else. He checked a clock on the wall; the waiter had only been gone for a couple minutes, but it felt like days.

'Very exciting cruise,' he thought to himself.

The waiter did return though, and came with the salad appetizer, the coffee, and a container of Salad dressing. He placed it on the table. "Your main course shall be ready in a few minutes."

He put a conservative amount of dressing on the salad, and got through about half of it before he decided to just look around the room, occasionally sipping his coffee, and watching for the waiter.

Looking around the room, Wayne could see that the restaurant was rather empty, probably because of how early it was. There was a rather old couple, looking to be celebrating an anniversary, in one corner, and a woman sipping at a cup of coffee, much like him, but looking to a clipboard, no doubt on a business cruise...

"Four people. If something were to happen to the ship right now, I doubt any crew members would realise we were in here," He thought. Returning to his previous thoughts of his soon to be staggering "In" box, he wondered how the company was going to get along without him.

He couldn't help but feel that he was being watched, but after quickly scanning the room he dismissed it as drowsiness.

A couple entered into the restuarnt and took a seat not far from the older couple, both beginning to chatter away about they're lives. It wasn't much longer before Wayne's soup was ready though, and the waiter returned with a steaming hot bowl...

"Wonderful, I was getting hungry," he thought, starting to eat the soup, pausing once when he burned his tongue, thoughts about straws, the soup they served at this restaurant on Robindale Rd., and Celine Dion passing through his mind all the while.

Soon enough, the soup was slowly lowering in the bowl, and it seemed alot more people had come to enjoy some dinner...

((Posting this to move things along, if there's anything wrong, let me know))

"I should probably get out of here before it gets crowded," he thought, "Maybe I'll check out the mall." He set down a couple of bills with a note reading, "Keep the change" then got up to leave.
