Posted by: Border Walker Oct 2 2007, 05:09 AM
The B-Deck promenade returns to the Division of Classes, but still really has no difference in sections. The same as the rest, with benches and open windows to lean out of, one can almsot see the water clearly at this level....

Posted by: Tenacious Lee Oct 15 2007, 08:56 PM
Lee looked to see if he could stop swimming and run the rest of the way, or if this arrea was filling up with water aswell.

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 15 2007, 08:57 PM
For the time, Lee was able to wade out of the water and onto ground, but that ground was slowly lowering into the Water as well, meaning he would have to run quickly...

And Lee did so running as quickly as he could with wet clothes.

Lee soon found the Entrance to the Staircase, which would lead Higher...

Rufus enters

Rufus looked about as he climbed down the stairs... not that he expected to see anything in this hellish foggy nightmare.

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 5 2008, 01:42 AM
Rufus didn't see anything as he expected expect the wall that his hand was on...

Well, things seemed a little quieter now - time to inform his underlings back home that the trip had suddenly taken a turn for the worse. Taking the PDA from his suit pocket, he tried to bring up the email application while listening out for anything coming...

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 5 2008, 10:49 PM
Rufus could head the sounds of many things, some sounding Hellish, but they seemed distant, as he found the Email, and his PDA n general, did not work, the screen static...

"Motherfucker... work damn you!"

Frustrated, he stuffed the device back in his pocket, then decided to keep walking along the promenade...

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 6 2008, 12:56 AM
Rufus soon came across where the Grand Staircase would be... or would have been... if it weren't a giant hole...

Rufus stopped abruptly as soon as he saw the hole, a little worried that he might fall in. He slowly crept near the edge, so he could try and look into the hole.

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 6 2008, 10:40 PM
Luckily, the hole was just inside the Staircase, the Promenade was fine. Inside, he could see the large gaping hole of the Staircase...

Rufus: 100/100

Posted by: Alkali Mar 6 2008, 10:46 PM
Peering closer, he tried to see if there was anything in the hole... or to see if he could figure out what made it.

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 6 2008, 11:05 PM
The only clue Rufus could see was that the Staircase looked exactly what pictures showed the Grand Staircase of the Titanic looked like... once it had sunken that is...

A little spooked, Rufus decided to carry on wandering down the promenade...

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 6 2008, 11:24 PM
Rufus began to hear the sounds around him getting louder as he moved along...

Rufus gripped the handgun just a little tighter as he kept walking, not quite sure to expect, but sure he should have packed more ammo.

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 7 2008, 10:49 AM
Pierce came across the entrance to the Aft Staircase, where a large crack went along the deck and through the stairs, but was still there...

Rufus wondered if he could get across the crack...

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 9 2008, 01:56 AM
The crack was large, but taking a large step would allow him to simply cross it...

Survivors:
Rufus: 100/100

Posted by: Alkali Mar 9 2008, 09:04 AM
...which he did, making sure not to fall in.

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 12 2008, 12:01 AM
For the sake of remaining PG-13, we'll just say that as Rufus climbed over the crack, something shot up and grabbed the family Jewels

Gritting his teeth, nothing more than sheer adrenaline keeping him from rolling around on the floor like a little baby, he tried firing a couple of shots down into the hole...

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 12 2008, 02:09 PM
The shots bounced but did something, as the arm released it's grip from Rufus, and the sound of what could only be described as a Whale was heard...

Rufus got himself to the other side of the crack, then yelled down the hole...

"That's right, you dirty little fucker! You don't mess with me!"

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 12 2008, 10:04 PM
Not the smartest thing to yell, as a large gush of water came out of the crack, with someone seemingly riding that gushing water, only to land in front of him...

"Damn fool just doesn't listen." muttered Rufus, firing a shot at the head of whatever horrid monster had chosen to grope him.

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 13 2008, 11:57 PM
The Shot struck, but seemed to do little, as the creature, which appeared to be a humpback whale like creature covered in seaweed advanced to him... (Whalen -7)

Damned thing couldn't advance towards him if it had no working joints! Rufus aimed a shot squarely at what he reckoned was the beast's kneecaps...

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 14 2008, 12:22 AM
[8/10]

[i]The creature seemed to anticipate this as the gun shot, moving out of the way and getting n front of him, punching him squarely in the chest (Rufus -10)[/b]

As Rufus was staggered backwards, he responded to the violence with a close-range shot...

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 14 2008, 09:33 PM
The shot hit the chest (Whalen -6) But still did little...

Rufus decided enough was enough. He was going to have to get out of here... but not without a last parting gift. He aimed a shot squarely for the things' eye...

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 14 2008, 11:45 PM
[6/10]

By pure chance, the shot struck, causing the whale to echo out a cry of pain, or the equvilant to a painful whale sound, temporarily distracting it...

Chance? Skill, surely. No matter what it was that had given him the chance to escape, Rufus decided not to waste the opportunity and legged it as fast as he could - not terribly fast, certainly, but he ran nonetheless.

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 15 2008, 02:52 PM
Rufus soon reached very back of the Promenade...

And so he looked for somewhere else to go, not wanting to stick around when there were whalemen running about.

The was the stairs going down...

Rufus: 90/100

Posted by: Alkali Mar 16 2008, 10:56 PM
He went downstairs. Could whales climb stairs? What about ones with legs?

Only time will tell...
