Calypso's Wrath > B Deck > Grand Staircase - B-Deck

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 2 2007, 05:05 AM
Of all the places aboard the ship, The Grand Staircase is the only one that Still holds the exact same feel and look from the Original Titanic. The same wooden paneling, the same statues and fixtures, they all reflect the original majesty of the ship, and wonderfully.

The B-Deck level is pretty much the same as the others, being large in size with wood paneling. This one connects to the Main First Class Rooms...

Angela was sitting on the carpeted landing and staring up at the wooden paneling and listening to distant music and talking, whilst hiding her bruised eye underneath both the brim of her Bucket Hat and her hand, equally embarrassed and scared about it, or rather, the person that had caused it. Although it was probably time to go back to her parents, Angela simply kept sitting and staring, perhaps waiting for something to stop her from going back to that room...

Most of the Passengers on the ship seemed to ignore her, or look to her but say nothing. Many of them probably just didn't want to be bothered with the small girl...

Although, one woman, a Beautiful redhead in an outfit that seemed to have been carbon copied right from the Victorian era, down to the very large hat and high heels, bent down at her knees to look down to her, Smiling a little,
"Well, aren't you just a pretty little darling..." the woman said, her form fitting White skirt and shirt looking especially elegant...

Posted by: Marmalade Boy Oct 6 2007, 07:56 PM
Angela stared up at the woman, quite surprised at how someone had actually made their way out to talk to her,

"Umm... H...Hello Ma'am..."

That stutter was still in her voice, making her sound all feeble, and her cheeks flushed red...

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 6 2007, 08:07 PM
The woman smiled a bright white smile to Angela, a smile of Elegance and class. Her lips had a wonderful shade of Red lipstick on them as well, making her look even more Lavish...

"Such a cute one too, an odd looking one, but a cute one to be sure. What's your name?" The Lady asked...

Odd looking? Gah, that wasn't nice...

"Umm... It's Angela Miss..."

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 6 2007, 08:16 PM
The Beautiful woman smiled even more brightly at the name, "Well that is a very beautiful name, the name of a little Angel. Mine is Rose," she said, "Are you enjoying the voyage, Angela?"

Tell a lie, tell a lie,

"Yeah! it's, erm, it's g...great!"

She gave a smile to 'Rose' trying not to make it wibble or anything...

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 6 2007, 08:20 PM
Rose's smile seemed to dim a little, but still was bright as ever at the mention of that. However, other passengers were beginning to look to Angela even more oddly now, though for whatever reason, she could not tell... "Is it really? You don't seem so happy... and is something wrong with your eye...?"

Rose: ???/???

Angela looked around at the people staring at her, and realized that people had noticed her eye. She gave a slight shiver and replied,

"I, erm, I... Bumped into a t...table. Stupid isn't it?"

She gave a little laugh that petered off at the end...

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 6 2007, 08:29 PM
"Poor thing," Rose commented, running her soft hand over Angela's hair and cheek. The touch, strangely though, was a little cold to the touch... "Does it still hurt?"

"A little..."

Angela's eyebrows raised at the chill, and reached out to touch Rose's hand,

"Are you cold or something?"

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 6 2007, 08:40 PM
When Angela touched Rose's hand, it was no longer cold, feeling normal for someone. Rose looked oddly at Angela at the remark, but simply pushed it aside, "Not really, just washed my hands in some cold water a little while ago though."

"Oh, okay"

It looked like Angela wasn't the only one making excuses,

"So, erm, okay..."

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 6 2007, 08:46 PM
"Would you like soemthing to help that eye?" Rose asked...

"Erm, I...if you have anything"

Angela said...

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 6 2007, 09:04 PM
Rose reached into a small pocketbook around her shoulder, and pulled out a few items used for makeup purposes. She took a close look at Angela before pulling out a bottle that had a color matching her skin tone, and poured some on a small pad, "Close your eye for a moment..." she said as she held the pad in her hand a few inches from Angela's eye...

"Okay..."

Angela closed her eyes...

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 7 2007, 03:01 PM
Angela soon felt something press against her injured eye, and with each light touch of soemthing soft, the pain in her eye going away. The light touch continued for a while before Angela heard Rose's voice again, "There... Always said that Makeup not only makes you look better, but makes you feel better as well. Want to have a look?"

Survivors:
Angela: 100/100
Rose: 100/100

The pain going away was odd, but maybe it was just psychological. Then again, she couldn't think of anything to explain it,

"Sure!"

Angela said, opening her eyes...

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 7 2007, 03:32 PM
Rose took out a small pocket mirror from her pocketbook, holding it in front of Angela. The reflection showed her pretty face, minus scars and black eye, looking better than ever with faint traces of makeup on her to make her young face seem beautiful...

Angela said with a wide smile, looking at herself in the mirror,

"That's amazing!"

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 7 2007, 03:51 PM
"I know, the wonders a small dabble of makeup can do, right?" Rose said, smiling to Angela. "Say, I bet there's places on this ship you'd really like to visit. Would you like me to show you some?" Angela suggested...

"Uhh, If that's okay Ma'am"

Angela modestly replied...

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 7 2007, 04:14 PM
"Of course it is, so long as your with me, You can go anywhere. Now, is there anywhere you'd like to go first?" Rose said as she rose up to her feet but continued to look to Angela...

Posted by: Marmalade Boy Oct 7 2007, 04:20 PM
Angela stood up too,

"Erm, I-Is it nice up on deck?"

She asked...

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 7 2007, 04:22 PM
"Exquisite, I'll show you," Rose said as he opens one her her hands for Angela to take...

Posted by: Marmalade Boy Oct 7 2007, 04:23 PM
And Angela took it...

Angela entered, perhaps a little blindly without lights, and stood against the wall, waiting for the lights to come back on...

It would be a while, quite a while actually... but in the mean time, Rose made a reappearance next to Angela.

"Erm, hi Rose!" Angela said in a friendly way, "D-Don't worry about it, I guess disappearing isn't so bad if you can reappear right?"

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 11 2007, 06:37 AM
"Nah, it's more like falling asleep and waking up. Only, you can awake years later..."

"W-What is it?"

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 11 2007, 06:43 AM
"A Jewel of the Sea, one of many aboard the Titanic. I can't say much right now, but I can tell you that That one is the Heart of the Ocean, and it will keep you from feeling cold at night and drowning in water..."

Rose Explained...

Angela said...

"Well it certainly won't help me much in my condition. I'm trapped to be on this ship because of what happened, what he did. I can't rest for what... We did..."

Before Rose could say more, the lights came on, and she faded away...

Jo & Co enter from the Grand Staircase - C-Deck Level

"That so? What else?" Jolene asked.

Posted by: Arlan Oct 23 2007, 11:30 PM
"Nothing specific really, well, unless you count him and all the other officers except William getting up and walking out simultaniously, without a word, the moment things got wierd just now..."

Posted by: dray Oct 23 2007, 11:39 PM
"Yeah?" Jolene raised her considerable brows. "You think they knew what was gonna happen?"

Posted by: Arlan Oct 23 2007, 11:42 PM
"Maybe, it's certainly not normal for a captain to just walk away from a potential riot without even giving any instructions..." Dominic replied, looking forwards as he continued up in an attempt not to stare at the considerable brows of Jolene!

Posted by: dray Oct 23 2007, 11:46 PM
"Seems like he'd kill himself just to avoid an encounter if he could. Y'know when I got torched a few hours ago," she indicated her bandages, "he tried to tell me it was an accident? Then he got all huffy to Abula an' Frank, here."

Posted by: Arlan Oct 23 2007, 11:51 PM
Dominic looked down at the bandages then back to straight ahead as he continued up. "I'm sure if we could just get some straight answers from him, this whole situation would make a lot more sense, but he doesn't seem like the sort to give them to us..."

Posted by: dray Oct 23 2007, 11:59 PM
"He's probably a friggin' ghost himself," Jolene threw out.

Posted by: Arlan Oct 24 2007, 12:05 AM
"Probably...I think the busboys are, and I have my suspicions about some of the other officers, so why not him too" Dominic replied, rubbing a hand on his forehead as his headache swelled up once more with the thought of how entirely messed up this whole situation was...

Posted by: dray Oct 24 2007, 12:08 AM
"Enough to make me wanna jump ship," Jolene conspired. "Ghost ship, ghost captain, ghost crew... probably ghost passengers, too." Perhaps it was the vodka and the three glasses of wine getting to her, but Jolene continued, "for all I know everybody here is but me. Sounds like a bad dream, huh?"

Posted by: Arlan Oct 24 2007, 12:15 AM
"Hmm, unfortunately it sounds all too believable on this ship...But, as far as I know, I'm not a ghost, how about you two, feeling undead?" Dominic said, turning his attention to Abula and Frank with a raised eyebrow.

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 24 2007, 12:20 AM
"Sir, If I recall, you, me, and Frank here are the only three who didn't receive the full training regiment for the Security aboard. I'd say alot of the others may be, but I am deffiently not."

"Plus, when's the last time you've seen an ahrab Guard?"

"Makes me wonder where the old master-at-arms is hiding" Dominic said, giving a reassured nod at the fact that everyone in the group was probably alive.

"Okay then, lead the way to this jewel, if it leads to making more sense of this!"

Posted by: dray Oct 24 2007, 01:05 PM
"I'm not promising it makes sense of anything," Jolene disclaimed, "But at the very least we'll be haunted by cheek-pinchers and knitting circles instead of soggy shoes and hair-burners." And onward they went. The fact that the busboys were ghosts as well meant that Jolene was hesitant to take the elevator.... even if it meant hobbling up several flights of stairs!

Posted by: Arlan Oct 24 2007, 02:23 PM
"You've got a point there...Ghosts floating up and telling me about the 'good old days' I can deal with!" Dominic said, continuing up the stairs.

Posted by: dray Oct 24 2007, 02:31 PM
"They just need to stop making their god damned dramatic appearances. I'd like to go for two hours straight without having all the lights fail on me, y'know?"

Posted by: Arlan Oct 24 2007, 03:33 PM
"Since I have to fill in half a dozen security reports every time the lights go out, yeah, I could really do without it too" Dominic replied, glancing around before groaning and adding. "I hate to think how much I'll have to write up about this..."

Posted by: dray Oct 24 2007, 06:55 PM
"They'll kill ya with paperwork," Jolene agreed. "It can't be that bad... I mean, who's going to argue with you about ghost-boys and fire-men when everybody else's seen it?"

Posted by: Arlan Oct 24 2007, 08:59 PM
"Oh, you'd be amazed the number of reasons I've had thrown at me by passengers as to why there's no real ghosts and this is all my fault" Dominic replied,
"People get pretty creative when there's a chance to pin some blame!"

"Lemmie see?"

He sticks out his hand and gestures for her to hand over the 'Funky thing' so he can examine it

Posted by: Border Walker Jan 17 2008, 10:28 PM
Robert has gained EMP Disrupter

The funky thing seemed to be a rectangular box, with a clip on one end that apparently looked to hook right on the outside of a wire, and seemed to be able to extend. There was a single switch on it, and some sticky substance on the back, most likely to hook onto the wall...

Posted by: Darkwater Jan 17 2008, 11:26 PM
"Well.....Looks like you hook this bit to a cable, stick it to the wall and tap the button"

He examines the breaker, Hoping it'll piece itself together in his mind

"Why we couldn't just smash the shit out the breaker is beyond me though"

Posted by: Border Walker Jan 20 2008, 04:31 PM
"I asked him that exact same thing. He said that this will make it more clean, and is timed for the task."

Michael, while examining the Breaker, found there to be a list of what wires had the power for what, going from left to right. There were five wires to note, however.

Engines: #2
Navigation: #9
Lights: #13
Cameras: #21
Arcade: #30

The Wires, however, were not color coded, and many shared the same color. Not to mention that the wires were all entangled amongst one another...

Posted by: Darkwater Jan 20 2008, 09:38 PM
"For fuck sake..."

He looks at the sides for where the wires originate, checking if he can count 13 wires down

Posted by: Border Walker Jan 20 2008, 09:55 PM
Michael was able to, but almost miscounted, as there was a wire next to it that had the exact same color. This one was for the alarms though...

Posted by: Darkwater Jan 20 2008, 10:08 PM
"I wonder if we can....Nuke the Alarms....Lights...And Cameras in one fell swoop?"

He mutters to himself, seeing if he could manage to free all three wires from the tangle and hook them all with the clasp

"Good plan maybe?"

Posted by: Border Walker Jan 21 2008, 08:16 PM
"And should you mess up, what happens when the alarms go off?"

Posted by: Darkwater Jan 21 2008, 08:45 PM
"Good point indeed. Good point"

He changes plan. Hooking only the wire for the lights

Posted by: Border Walker Jan 21 2008, 09:24 PM
Julia watched, as Michael was able to grab the correct wire for the lights.

"Yanno, you could just flip the switches," Salem mentioned...

Posted by: Darkwater Jan 22 2008, 01:24 PM
"We could do that. But that'd make the repairs too fast. We cant have them flicking the breaker back on when we're halfway through a long corridor you know?"

He sets up the box the best way he can think to and looks to her

"Reckon thats it done?"
