Calypso's Wrath > A Deck > Grand Staircase Elevator - A-Deck

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 2 2007, 04:29 AM
The elevator is pretty self explanatory really, Being rather antique in looks and style, but the good kind, complimenting most of the interior of the ship. The Grand Staircase elevators are in sets of threes, right behind the Grand staircase. Only the middle rises to the Crewmen Operations though, but that can only be accessed by crewmen with the keys...

Yuki stepped into the elevator and waited for Keisei to get in as well before pressing the button for the F Deck.

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 6 2007, 03:32 PM
Yuki need not press the button, nor could she press one for the F-Deck level, since it ended at the D-Deck. One of the Elevator busboys stood ready to lower the elevator as Yuki and her guard stepped in.

"'Ello love, which floor?" the busboy said with a thick British accent...

Posted by: Arlan Oct 6 2007, 03:50 PM
Yuki glared at the busboy who seemed to think he had the right to call her 'love', but eventually turned her nose up and looked the other way. "D Deck"

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 6 2007, 03:57 PM
The busboy arched an eyebrow at the glare, but payed no mind and smiled, nodding. "D-deck it is," he said as he pulled the lever to close the antique looking iron doors, then pressed the button for the D-Deck...

When the elevator has stopped, Yuki continued on her way towards her room, considering the fact that she might need a shower before lunch too, all that...sport...had made her get a bit sweaty...

Yuki's journey upwards towards the heavens concluded at the uppermost point of this fine machine, the very forces of nature had bent to the will of this magnificent device to ascend, showing naught but distain for the will of the earth to pull all down into its stony grasp. Yuki marvelled at the free-spirit that was this near divine spectacle of modern technology, but simultaniously felt great sorrow for it to be shackled to its one path, never knowing the taste of freedom it so justly deserved.

...with that out of the way, Yuki walked out of the elevator and towards her room, while her narrator passed out...

Lucky for Jose Yuki had little to no interest in menial minimum-wage flunkies like bellboys, and as such the fact that he was different passed completely over her head.

"Yes"
