Calypso's Wrath > A Deck > Grand Staircase - A-Deck Level

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 2 2007, 01:38 AM
Of all the places aboard the ship, The Grand Staircase is the only one that Still holds the exact same feel and look from the Original Titanic. The same wooden paneling, the same statues and fixtures, they all reflect the original majesty of the ship, and wonderfully.

The A-Deck Level is one below the Boat Level, and is the link to the First Class Passenger rooms. The Mahogany wood doors look as if they were ripped out of the original ship herself, just for this occasion...

Yuki enters from stage left

Yuki was overwhelmed with irritation of her trip so far. The staff were slow and idiotic, and she'd just learned that she would be forced to go through third class areas to reach the swimming pool and sauna, and her complaints that the third class passengers smelled odd and should be cleared out of her way had been utterly ignored by the boat management.
Still, at least she'd managed to rent out the entire pool to herself for a while, the thought of sharing it with other people was...disgusting.

Not far from Yuki, her bodyguard, Kaisei, followed her with his usual sunglasses on his face and cigarette in his mouth. Already a few times he had been told to toss it out, but, as Yuki had seen, they stopped messing with him after that. He looked to Yuki and could see her frustration, giving her some advice with the usual flat demeanor...

"Yuki, if it helps, I watched the ship during the loading. There aren't many Third class passengers, so you should be bale to get their safely," he chimed in...

Yuki sighed and rolled her eyes.
"Fine, fine, I suppose i'll just have to put up with it" she said irritably, heading off by whatever was the most direct route to the Swimming Pool.

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 6 2007, 03:20 PM
The most Direct route would be to either take one of the elevators down, or follow the grand staircase to the lowest it goes, and then follow the regular stairs...

It was Yuki's choice for which to take...

"True enough. Jolene replied, but then lapsed into silence as they continued to climb. She'd found plenty of ways to plin the blame on her ex-husband, but had been thoroughly rounded on in exchange for her accusations. She could imagine that being on the other end of that shit-fan would be just as... discouraging.

Posted by: Arlan Oct 25 2007, 06:05 PM
Dominic had never been one to break a silence, since he was really rather fond of them...But eventually he did feel a need to when a question came to mind.
"So did the captain say why he was so insistant for you to talk to me?"

Posted by: dray Oct 25 2007, 07:22 PM
"He insisted that you would have more information, but from the sounds of it, he was probably just piling more responsibilities on top o fyou..." She wondered about that. "Why would the captain hire a person obviously not suited to the job -- no offense -- and then shove so many responsibilities on him?" It seemed like Dominic would rather take any job but the one he had... was there a reason that the captain had shunted him into this position?

Posted by: Arlan Oct 25 2007, 08:29 PM
Dominic let the comment of being unsuited for the job go by without any reaction, mainly because he would be the first to admit that he wasn't...
"I don't know...I only applied for a regular security job, not master-at-arms position. Just one more thing the captain never gave me a straight answer about..."
