Calypso's Wrath > Orlop Deck > Boiler Room #3

The boiler rooms are large, red, and hot, as are many of the Stokers who work here. Often it's considered smart not to wear tight or heavy layers, since one could easily sweat to death in these places...

Nick looked down at the boiler, puzzled. he was making his daily checks, and he'd hit a hitch. He himself had helped install the new boilers into the ships bowels.

These boilers were not new. these boilers were not even old. They were boilers, Circa 1912.

he scratched his head and sighed, it was going to be a long day, and the flooding of the ship didnt help matters much. Nick strolled off over the catwalk, eager to exit the flooding chambers, and get to higher ground as quickly as possible.

Workmen were rushing the catwalks and pushing by Nick as the water flooded the room below. most of it seemed to be already flooded, and it was quickly rising as he was standing only a little more than halfway between the water and the top of the catwalk...

Nick thought hard, since he had been helped build this area, he knew it like the back of his hand, and he headed to a nearby shortcut from the room, which would take him to...

The nearest shortcut he knew was through a workmen's tunnel that lead to the G-Deck hallway...

Nick looked around for the last time at the flooding boiler room and headed up through the tunnel, to the G-deck Hallway.

The Water was already nearly at the Catwalks...

Nick has left the Boiler Room for the Third Class Corridor - G-Deck
