Calypso's Wrath > E Deck > Second Class Hallway

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 5 2007, 10:14 PM
Unlike the First Class Hallways that appear right out of the Titanic, and the Third Class hallways that are little more than White walls and pipes, The Second Class hallway looks like a modern hallway from a modern hotel. Simple rug that runs the length of the hall and Wooden walls, it also has the needed fire alarms and Cameras...

Yuki let out an irritable sigh at the long trek to the swimming pool, but still carried on towards it, she wasn't going to waste the private time she'd booked in it after all...

William kept following, wondering if the passenger knew how little he cared about killer stairs.

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 7 2007, 07:45 PM
Chances are he probably didn't... but the man seemed to be leading him to stairs a little ways away before stopping near them. "These are the stairs, look!" he said, pointing to them...

William looked at the stairs the man was pointing at.

"they don't look very alive." he said.

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 7 2007, 07:54 PM
The may not have looked alive... but they did look strangely mangled, like the railing had curved in on itself, dripping with some blood, which would explain the red stain on the man's leg. A step also seemed to be missing...

"They were when we tried to climb! My wife was nearly killed!"

William: 100/100
Disgruntled Passenger: 84/100

Posted by: space butler Oct 7 2007, 08:04 PM
William frowned slightly and walked down the stairs.

"I trust she's receiving medical treatment?" he asked, examining the mangled railing.

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 7 2007, 08:09 PM
"Of course! I took her right to the nearest hospital on the ship."

The Railing seemed to be curved around, something not easily done by a man or woman... or ten men. It would take great strength to do this, unless it bent on it's own...

Which unless William was mistaken, it seemed to be doing, bending on it's own slowly back into place...

William: 100/100
Disgruntled Passenger: 84/100

Posted by: space butler Oct 7 2007, 08:15 PM
William backed away from the railing and watched it, trying to remember if there was an alternate staircase that could be used if this one were closed.

"good to hear, I think you should check yourself in too." he said to the man.

"I'll get this sorted out, and have a full report written up. I might have to come to you for a statement, mr..?" he added, saying the last word as a question.

Yuki walked up the hallway and carried on towards the mall...

William

There were many different sets of stairs on this deck, so it wouldn't cause alot of trouble..

"Veran, Francis Veran."

Survivors:
William: 100/100
Francis: 84/100

Posted by: space butler Oct 7 2007, 09:17 PM
"well Mr Veran, I'll make sure this staircase is closed, and I'll have a work with the captain about some compensation for you and your wife." William said.

he unclipped his walkie talkie and tuned it to the maintenance channel. "this is Harris, can I get a team to close staircase <whatever the reference number is> asap?" he said into it.

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 7 2007, 09:21 PM
The staircase was E-5, and a reply came over from the engineers, "Not those again! be over quickly."

Francis on the other hand nodded to William. "Good to know. I'd get the rest of your stairs checked as well, or I may have to get the federal government involved in how unsafe your ship is..." he said before leaving...

William: 100/100

"yeah, I'll get right on that." William muttered as Francis left. he lent on the wall and awaited the maintenance team's arrival.

"I figure we should close this staircase, if nothing else then it'll keep the captains arse out of any lawsuits." he added.

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 7 2007, 09:48 PM
"Right," one of the Engineers replied as he went over with a large chain and began to place it on the hook of the stairs, placing the other end on the opposite hook. He then stepped away as the other Engineers with other equipment began to heard onto the steps to fix them up...

"This kinda shit happens that often?!" Jolene was aghast. "Fuck, and she's not been grounded with this kind of a bad rep. I don't believe it..."

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 8 2007, 05:16 AM

"you know kids, they never tell their parents anything. if you'd just let me take this statement I'll be out of your hair in five or ten minutes, so you can get back to enjoying the cruise with your family." he added.

"One sec hun." Straining to listen down the hall, "Either of you hear that?" Without waiting for a response, Dave moves carefully down the hall to see whats going on.

"Elec-" Rob was about to speak before Dave stormed ahead. "Hey wait up ! It could be dangerous - Let me handle it I have expertise in Electronics !" Rob shouted as moved to catch up...

"Honey?" Elizabeth asks as she slowly moves to catch up after them, as both found a figure with apparently an electrical Wire in his mouth...

"Ah..ah..ahh.." Dave was rather lost for words when confronted by a person who could hold a live wire in their mouths. Scanning his brain for the appropriate thing to say in this sort of situation, he realized that none of his schooling had taught him anything of use. "Hello...ah...You ah...have a wire in your ah...mouth? Were you...aware?"

Posted by: Smith Mar 12 2008, 08:13 AM
"oh shit" muttered Rob, instantly knowing that something was wrong. "Back away from him Dave, the current running through him could go through you too, and believe me, I doubt you'll take it as nicely as he is..."

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 12 2008, 02:17 PM
The creature turned to look to them, it's whole body sparking a few times with electricity as it removed the wire from it's mouth like one would an ice cream bar...

Turning to glance at Rob, Dave instinctively takes a step backwards. "Oh..err...right!" He takes the chance to get a better look at the creature in front of him.

Posted by: Smith Mar 12 2008, 08:35 PM
"Um, this is kinda wierd, you think it's a hologram or something ? Or a ghost maybe ?" Rob said, backing away slowly...

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 12 2008, 08:37 PM
The creature dropped the wire and began to move to them, as the lights overhead flickered on and off, both catching the true sight of this creature as a walking EEL!

He looked around to try and find anything useful for the situation...

Posted by: Cat Awesome Mar 12 2008, 11:14 PM
"Run baby!" Dave tries to smack the creature with his cane, in an attempt to give Liz time to flee.

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 14 2008, 12:02 AM
Dave was too far for the cane to strike, as Rob could see an Emergency Fire Casing on the wall...

"Dave, smash this Emergency Fire Casing ! Quick !" Rob shouted while he backed away slowly

Posted by: Cat Awesome Mar 14 2008, 10:10 PM
Dave looks around, and smacks his cane against the case.

Dave carefully grabs the fire extinguisher from the cabinet. He pulls out the pin and aims at the creatures face, leaning against the wall as he does so. Squeezing the handle, he tries to keep the liquid shooting as close to it's eyes as possible.

"Shit" Murmered Rob. He knew that the water would only help it, and if he hit it with the fire axe he'd probably be electrocuted.

"Any ideas Dave ?"

Posted by: Cat Awesome Mar 16 2008, 08:33 PM
Dave turns around and starts hurrying down the hall. "Run?" he shouts behind him.

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 16 2008, 08:57 PM
Dave had the right idea, as the creature reached where he and Rob stood, missing Dave and his Fiance, but still striking Rob (Rob -8)

Grabbing Liz's hand, Dave shouts "Come on!" Running wasn't usually a possibility for him, but the fear of the monster puts speed in his steps.

Posted by: Smith Mar 17 2008, 06:44 AM
Rob took the blow, and with that momentum he rolled backwards and leaped up, to hurry along with Liz and Dave. "The fucker hit me!"
