Calypso's Wrath > D Deck > D-Deck Port Stairwell

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 3 2007, 11:48 PM
The Port stairwell is like a mini staircase of sorts, except all metal in design. It links the A-Deck to some of the decks beneath it and the Boat Deck above, and is popular for use as apposed to the normal stairwells along the decks, probably because of the elevator...

Rufus enters

Rufus kept up the descent...

Rufus found that the Stairs below the D-Deck were very, very rusted, beyond safety limitations ten-fold. Going down further would prove to cause a rather quicker... and painful... descent...

Rufus: 90/100

Rufus was glad he was travelling first class, if the "poor people's levels" were this crap. He decided to get off the stairwell here...

Rufus has left the D-Deck Port Stairwell for the Third Class Open Space

Yuki hurried on after Maria as long as nothing got in their way, and why would anything get in the way of their escape!

Posted by: Border Walker Apr 11 2008, 11:02 PM
Would the stairs suddenly creaking, moving, and coming to life cause her trek to come to a halt...?

Survivors:
Yuki: 74/100
Maria: 89/100
Jason: 79/100 (Unconscious)
Joshua: 86/100

They most likely would, with a frightened 'eep' no less, "We need to get off the stairs" Yuki said, looking around for any exits.

Posted by: Border Walker Apr 11 2008, 11:19 PM
They were halfway between decks, which didn't help much, as the stairs began to pull away from the wall anyway...

Survivors:
Yuki: 74/100
Maria: 89/100
Jason: 79/100 (Unconscious)
Joshua: 86/100

"Hurry, get to the next exit!" Yuki yelled, running down the stairs as well as she could without tripping, considering how mobile they were right now...

Posted by: Border Walker Apr 11 2008, 11:26 PM
Yuki, Maria, and Josh were able to slowly tread their way down, that is, until the stairs broke off and swung straight outwards over the ocean...

Survivors:
Yuki: 74/100
Maria: 89/100
Jason: 79/100 (Unconscious)
Joshua: 86/100

Yuki gave a yelp of fright, clinging onto the stairs as she saw the ship vanish from underneath them.

Posted by: Border Walker Apr 11 2008, 11:44 PM
The railing soon swung about and slammed against one of the smokestakcs, slicing right through and causing it to fall over...

"I HATE ROLLERCOASTERS!!!" Maria screamed at the top of her Lungs, which was surprisingly louder than an F-16 Fighter Jet...

Survivors:
Yuki: 74/100
Maria: 89/100
Jason: 79/100 (Unconscious)
Joshua: 86/100

Posted by: Arlan Apr 11 2008, 11:54 PM
Apart from now being deafened, Yuki couldn't really do much in her current situation except cling on.

Posted by: Border Walker Apr 11 2008, 11:57 PM
The staircase swung straight upwards at an angle, and as Yuki clung on while it stayed still, she could see that the bow of the ship was lower in the water than it should be...

Survivors:
Yuki: 74/100
Maria: 89/100
Jason: 79/100 (Unconscious)
Joshua: 86/100

"Oh great, we're sinking, and probably going to fall to our deaths!" Yuki complained, still clinging on until a chance to get off presented itself.

Posted by: Border Walker Apr 12 2008, 12:03 AM
Unfortunately, that chance did not seem near, as the stairs soon pulled a Titanic, no pun intended, by bobbing for a fe seconds and then beginning to rapidly sink downwards...

Posted by: Arlan Apr 12 2008, 12:05 AM
In which case, Yuki proceeded to scream, very loudly...

Posted by: Border Walker Apr 12 2008, 12:12 AM
As did Maria, as loud as Yuki, but Josh quickly whistled loudly,

"JUMP WHEN I SAY NOW!"

Survivors:
Yuki: 74/100
Maria: 89/100
Jason: 79/100 (Unconscious)
Joshua: 86/100

Posted by: Arlan Apr 12 2008, 12:16 AM
"O-okay" Yuki replied, awaiting the signal and repressing her natural urge to scream some more.

Posted by: Border Walker Apr 12 2008, 12:27 AM
Yuki had to wait a few seconds, but Josh eventually yelled...

"NOW!"

Survivors:
Yuki: 74/100
Maria: 89/100
Jason: 79/100 (Unconscious)
Joshua: 86/100

Posted by: Arlan Apr 12 2008, 12:31 AM
...and Yuki did indeed jump, rather hoping not to hit something sharp...

Posted by: Border Walker Apr 12 2008, 12:44 AM
Yuki and Maria managed to land on the now split open deck, while Josh was not as lucky, leaping, sliding, and then clutching onto a hanging piece of metal over certain death...

Yuki and the Gang have left the d-Deck port Stairwell for the Third Class Open Space

Survivors:
Yuki: 74/100
Maria: 89/100
Jason: 79/100 (Unconscious)
Joshua: 86/100
