The Galley hall contains many a small rooms and a few hospital rooms for Chef's who have experienced bad luck in one of the rooms. Anything from Knives to China plates can be found in the rooms here. However, alot of Chef's appear to be in the Hospital rooms for strange injuries with the items...

Mike carries right on walking, looking around the room as he continues his epic quest to reach the second class dining area

As Michael walked along the hallway, strange things began to happen. The sound of the metal walls almost bending about from strain. It was an eerie sound, a bone chilling one... one that shouldn't be made...

"What the hell....."

He pulls his radio from his belt and raises it to his mouth again

"Anyone else hear that...?"

He moves over to the wall, moving his free hand to the wall and resting it against it, leaning a forward to put his ear to the metal

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 7 2007, 04:07 PM
The Radio chimed back from the others...

"Hear what? We didn't hear anything."

That was what they all said, as the sound of one of the door handles beginngn to turn on it's own came from behind Michael...

"The creaking....it sounds like the hull is...."

He hears the handle turning and whips around, the radio dropping to his side as he watches the door opening itself, looking around for the cause

"This is too weird....."

The door seemed to open to one of the many storage rooms aboard the ship, this particular one being the storage for all the knives, which began to shake...

He looks at the knives, memories of the strange stories that have been passed around about poltergeists on the ship running through his head, something in the back of his head screaming:

DUCK!

So he does, diving to the left and keeping the door frame between him and the eerily shaking blades

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 7 2007, 04:26 PM
Just before Michael dived out of the way, hundreds of knives flew out of the door, but narrowly missed Michael as he dived, instead, leaving a perfect outline of where Michael had stood...

Then two more knives came out after a few second, one that landed where his groin would have been, and one that landed where his head would have...

"J....Jesus H christ!"

He looks at the shape on the wall, swallowing loudly as he watches the final knife blows before he inches his head round the door frame. Checking to see exactly what the hell was going on

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 7 2007, 04:34 PM
For now, the room seemed empty, save the knives that didn't fly off the handle at him, quite literally. Although, there seemed to be something on the wall, but it was too dark in the room to see from only the entrance...

He speaks into his radio again

"I ehh.....I need someone to come to the Galley hall, bring a security guard if you can, i was just attacked by a hoard of......for lack of a better explenation....a hoard of flying knives. Could do with a little clean up"

He clips the radio back onto his belt and stands up, brushing down his waistcoat and trousers before cautiously making his way into the room, fumbling for a lightswitch and see whatever is on the wall

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 7 2007, 04:53 PM
A reply came back on the Radio from Jose...

"Shit, sorry Michael, forgot about how that places is. Are you alright at least?"

As for the lights, they came on brightly, and a hiss seemed to come as well, like something fizzling away, along with a puff of black smoke (Poltergeist Killed?). The back wall was illuminated enough that Michael as able to read it, which seemed to be written in blood...

Writing on the Wall
I've been stuck in this room for the longest time, one of the cooks having gone crazy and attacked me. I can't really blame him, a lot of people are in an uproar of panic and fear after we struck that iceburg. His mind probably just snapped from not wanting to die. I know I don't want to either, but I'm stuck here while the water rises unless someone happens to rescue me. I wonder if that nice girl Eleanor is looking for me... we did seem to hit it off those past few nights. Maybe... maybe she's sacrificing herself to look for me...

Oh god... I think hear the water rising outside the door... If this is the last thing I write, I write it in the blood from my shoulder, hoping that maybe it will never wash away... and that it may be read should someone find the ship...

Grabbing the radio he speaks absently into it before replacing it

"Yeah....yeah im fine, ill be over to you in a minute...."

He reads the message, then reads it again, anyone there to see it would note the shock plain on his face

"Liam O'brian....Thats...."

He cuts himself short, shaking his head and backing away to rest against the door frame, flicking the lights off again so he doesnt need to stare at the writing any longer

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 7 2007, 05:05 PM
As he exited, a guard in a Hawaiian shirt and khaki shorts with sunglasses came over, gun in hand. He stopped in shock and nearly dropped his gun at the sight of the knives forming a perfect outline. "Shit! That nutty!" he exclaimed as he tried to pull out one of the knives...

He walks over to the wall and gives one of the knives a tap, frowning

"You think you can organise a cleanup? Maybe get rid of the freaky writing on the wall in there? Second class needs some food and there are problems"

He gestures off in the direction he has to go, brushing his hair back with his hands and trying to clean dirt off his trousers again

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 7 2007, 05:16 PM
"Yeah, I'll get some of the Maids to help. You jsut be careful," the Guard replied, pulling out one of the knives and jumping back as trickles of red fell out of the whole for a few seconds... "Now I know why the Cap'n wants to keep all this a secret..."

He coughs and looks to the guard, smiling now

"But as for me? Im always carefull, thanks for handling that mate.....and watch your head"

He pats the guy on the shoulder as he makes his way into the next room toward the Dining area

He moves over to the guard, checking his pulse. perhaps a redundant gesture but one done out of habit. After deciding his is indeed dead he checks for the guard's gun and if he finds it, takes it in hand when he turns to the knife room, moving to the doorway and shooting a glance inside

There was a clear shot to fire the First two into the thing, which didn't seem to feel them at first, but the third got in the way with the Fading man, yet went right through him and struck the poltergeist. "That round went right through you mate.....you ok?"

He offers a hand to the fading man, wondering if he can even take it

"Next i know the door to this room is open and the knives are flyin out at me....make a perfect shape of me they do, one to the head and one to the groin to boot, i check this room and i hear some more rattling.....flick on the light and find some writing on the wall....."

He gestures to the writing, with the lights off he cant tell if its still there however

"Next up....i free Jose, come back and find this bloke pinned to the wall like i woulda been if i werent quicker, next up i check in here to find myself face to face with- parden my french- a fuckin ghost, end up in a bit of fisticuffs then end up standing here talking you you and probably convincing you im a total loon"

"Mmm... Sounds like a Banshee." The Doctor said, writing something down on the clipboard, then putting her pen down and rolling her eyes. "All those years in Med School and instead I had to get trained by the Ghostbusters."

"Banshee is it, would've been nice if someone could've forwarded the 'how to recognize your evil spirits' guidebook to me" he sighed, letting his arm drop back down onto his stomach, and wincing as he was reminded of just how sore and painful said arm was at the moment.

"So is there anything else I should know about the after-effects of a run in with a banshee, Doctor..." he asked, leaving a pause in the air after 'doctor' for her to hopefully tell him her name.

"Blakthorn, but Just call me Natalie," The Doctor said with a small smile, "As for after-effects, not that I can say. Just some rest to recover fully."

"So...Natalie, how do you know so much about this, because I've certainly been left in the dark about what's going on?"

Posted by: Border Walker Feb 21 2008, 05:16 PM
"Your not the only one. Most of the security staff and officers like you haven't been well informed apparently. The Doctors and nurses though seem to have been, and given a special presentation by the captain about this. I thought he was just overly superstitious at first," Natalie said, placing her clipboard down and taking out a few ampules.

"Still, might've been nice if he'd let me in on the information before I got shot at, stabbed, punched, bitten, poisoned, and nearly drowned..."

"Course this means I have to explain why everything being kept inside the cargo hold is now waterlogged, and most people just don't seem too happy to hear 'ghosts did it'"

Posted by: Border Walker Feb 21 2008, 07:33 PM
"I suggest saying one of the pipes burst, now hold still," she said, taking a needle and the fluid in the ampule and sticking it into his arm, then proceeding to do the other. "See you've met one of the nicer ghosts though then."

Course it didn't help that the security guards that were there with us turned into a pair of ghostly twins and tried to kill the fifth officer and I!" Dominic replied, watching as she used the ampules.

"But oh well, enough about work, I should be enjoying this momentary break, even if it is for medical attention!"

Dominic spun round to the source of the voice in surprise drawing his sword. When he saw who it was he watched the man warily, he could hazard a guess at who it was, but he wasn't about to take any guesses on whether or not the man was an ally.

"My predecessor, I assume?"

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 7 2008, 10:51 AM
"You would be right, Nephew," The man said, "Your uncle Gregory, at your service."

"Well I'm stunned." Natalie said.

"So then...what brings you here to see me?" Dominic asked, relative or not, he didn't have any reason to trust the ghostly man yet after all...

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 7 2008, 11:05 AM
"Just as Distrustful as I was," Gregory said, stepping more out of the shadows, where Dominic could see the man had Graying hair and a Gray Mustache. "I'm here to help you out Dominic. Calypso is a nasty woman, but you can defeat one of the members of her court with the right training."

"Calypso? You're telling me a sea goddess is responsible for this? I would say you're crazy, but, well, I'm willing to suspend disbelief given the circumstances..." Dominic replied, raising his eyebrows and watching his ghostly uncle curiously.

"...and why do you want me to defeat one of her court, will that put things right on the ship?"

"You should've said so sooner than. So who is this member of Calypso's court?"

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 9 2008, 02:00 AM
"There are many, but you have seen one already I presume. Calypso serves Like a Hierarchy, with her Members of her court, who all control the others."

Gregory explained,

"The Members of Cayso's court are Numerous. Lockjaw, The Angloir Queen, Akito, Whaler..."

Gregory paused...

"...And Davey Jones."

"Crusty looking guy, made of sealife and coral, right? Yeah, I met him...didn't go to well". Dominic replied, unconsciously placing his hand over where he'd been stabbed...

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 9 2008, 02:12 AM
"He is the Member of her court that controls the others like him, pirates made of corl and sea life as you said. He is a master swordsman, and to beat him, you have to best him in a sword fight."

"So I take it you have something planned to help me? Because I doubt getting myself run through would really accomplish anything"

Gregory took the sword and ran his hand over it, a blueish-green glow illuminating from his hands and trailing along the sword blade...

Dominic watched silently, wondering when the Rocky theme tune would kick in and he could get on with his montage...

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 9 2008, 03:36 AM
The Sword continued to glow slightly as Gregory's hand left the blade, handing it back to Dominic "Now you have a sword to stand up to Davey's."

"...Thanks, but putting aside whether or not a better sword will make up for the fact that he's just a better swordsman than me. If I do beat him, won't that kind of screw up death somewhat, excuse me if my knowledge of nautical myths are lacking, but isn't he supposed to ferry those who die at sea to the afterlife or something?"

"You need to be ready, your opponent can strike at any second. Use the sword, do not fear it. It is simply an extension of your arm!"
