Calypso's Wrath > D Deck > Grand Staircase - D-Deck Level

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 3 2007, 08:33 PM
Of all the places aboard the ship, The Grand Staircase is the only one that Still holds the exact same feel and look from the Original Titanic. The same wooden paneling, the same statues and fixtures, they all reflect the original majesty of the ship, and wonderfully.

However, unlike the other levels, the D-Deck level is actually part of the Reception room, instead of being it's own room level on it's own...

Yuki stepped out onto the stairway and made her way down towards F Deck, feeling slightly better since the busboy had apparently gained the manners to call her 'miss' rather than 'love' on her way out.

Jolene et all enter from the First Class Entrance

And the officer gritted through the walk up the fancy staircase. She'd be happy to get the fuck onto solid ground... her legs were screaming at her, and her smoke-charred lungs weren't too happy, either.

Abula stopped for a second to let Jolene and Frank catch their breath, then continued to the Elevators, "Not longer now," He said as he entered the open elevator...

Yuki continued on her way to the elevator, wondering why they couldn't have another one outside the mall to save her walking all this way!

Ah, the familiar stairs, most ruthless obstacle to Yuki returning to her humble temporary abode aboard this fine vessel, a worthy challenge to be sure, but it could be overcome with skill, dedication and teamwork...

"Are the elevators working again yet?"

Posted by: Border Walker Nov 20 2007, 12:48 AM
Luckily enough, the elevators, a great modern invention of man, were in fact in working order...

The technological leaps and bounds of the past few centuries were indeed a marvel to behold in action, Yuki approached the elevator, a mechanical stallion if you will, traversing the murky depths of the lift shaft to bring it's charges safely to their appointed destination...

...and yuki pressed the button, before stepping into the lift when it arrived.
"A deck"

As Yuki entered, the beauty mix of the old and new was hit with her in such a way, it was like her mechanical stallion was taking her on a ride into the past. The bellhop, dressed in the style from the original titanic, gladly pulled the lever to rise the elevator...
