The First Class Reception room is where many of the First class passengers and a select few Second Class sit to be waited aboard the Ship. From here, passengers wishing to eat in the First Class Dining room are led...

Jo & Co enter from the D-Deck elevator

"That so, huh?" Jolene appeared to ponder as they hobbled into the reception room. "Well you have been doing a top-notch job of keeping me company," she teased Abula. "Can't say too much about the work yet, but here's hoping I get a chance to observe more." She chuckled.

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 14 2007, 01:38 AM
As Jolene entered, she found many other First class passengers around too, getting waited on by different waiters and brought into the Dining room. Many couples and groups alike, some looking modern, some looking Victorian. They were all being waited in, and soon one came over to her...

"How many in your party?" The waiter asked in a thick Scottish accent...

"Three," Jolene replied, unexpectedly mimicking the man's accent... but smiling to cover her embarrassment.

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 14 2007, 01:42 AM
The man paused for a second and glanced to to Jo, arching an eyebrow, but nodding and waving towards him once, "Follow me," He said as he headed into the Dining room...

Yuki strode into the reception room like she owned the place, as she was prone to doing in expensive places, and looked around for Maria.

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 15 2007, 09:53 PM
Maria waved Yuki over, then headed over in a nice black sparkly dress, "Good to see you again," She said...

"Likewise" Yuki replied with a smile, before looking around for someone to lead them through to the dining room...

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 15 2007, 10:14 PM
A Waitress soon came over...

"How many in your party?" She asked in a heavy Irish accent...

"Three" replied Yuki, the concept of going anywhere crowded without Kaisei there to glare at people too much of a strange concept for her to realise just how awkward this meal would probably be because of it...

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 15 2007, 10:24 PM
The Waitress, aparently some Teenager, looked up at Kasiei and arched an eyebrow at the same time he did, and then looked back to Yuki, "Would you prefer a window seat so your goon doesn't stand out as much?"

Yuki raised an eyebrow of her own in an imperious manner, though that was mainly to try and attract attention away from the fact that she was suppressing a giggle at the waitress calling Kaisei a goon so blatantly.

"Yes, a window seat will be fine..."

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 15 2007, 10:27 PM
"Great, we just so happen to have one available. Follow me," She said, heading into the Dining Room...

Dominic enters, with a massive friggin' headache!

Still on his rounds, Dominic dreaded every new room he came into on the ship, because it almost always had someone new to bitch at him about possessed wives, or murderous handrails, or something in the sauna which wasn't so much a complaint as a lot of giggling and blushing, but it was still annoying to hear about!

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 15 2007, 10:54 PM
But maybe he could put that aside, as he was soon approached by one of the Higher officers, The First, to be exact, and was saluted at, which he was expected to return.

"Master-At-Arms Dominic, We wish to invite you to a luncheon in the First Class Dining room with the Rest of the Officers," The First Officer said, standing straight...

Dominic certainly hadn't been expecting that, but returned the salute.
"Of course, it would be my honour" he lied, fully expecting to spend the entire lunch getting blamed for EVERYTHING...even the things he hadn't heard about yet...

Posted by: space butler Oct 15 2007, 11:34 PM
William entered, wondering if he'd blacked out or stepped in a portal.

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 15 2007, 11:40 PM
"Good, now all we need wait for is the Fifth officer..." The Cheif Officer said as he headed back to the mini crowd of officers...

"you called?" he joked.

Posted by: Arlan Oct 15 2007, 11:42 PM
Dominic walked over to the group, glancing around at the collection of officers and feeling distinctly like he'd like to be somewhere else right now...

"Why yes," The second officer said, coming over, "We wish to invite you to luncheon with us."

Posted by: space butler Oct 15 2007, 11:45 PM
"I'd be glad to join you sir." William replied.

Dominic followed, the sooner this was over with the better, in his opinion...

"Okay, yes, everyone that way" Dominic called, keeping up the steady and mind-numbingly dull stream of positive reinforcement to keep people calm...

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 22 2007, 09:33 PM
Most of the people cooperated and moved up the stairs, but some yelling could be heard near the elevators behind the Staircase...

Survivors:
Dominic: 100/100

Dominic sighed, and hurried round to the elevators to see what this was all about...

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 22 2007, 09:45 PM
Around the other side of the Staircase, A number of First class passengers not wishing to be herded like Cows were complaining about the Elevators being shut down....

"It's for Safety!" One of the busboys exclaimed...

Dominic: 100/100

Dominic groaned and slumped his shoulders, before regaining his posture and doing his best to look officer-like as he strode over to the group. "I'm sorry, but the lifts are off-limits until this situation is resolved, I'm sure you can understand the dangers of using a lift during a power malfunction after all..."
'...or not, but I should at least pretend like I think you're intelligent people I suppose!' he added in his mind.

Jolene & Co enter from the First Class Dining Room

Joining the back of the queue, Jolene shook one foot irritably, temporarily dislodging some water from her shoe. This'd better not keep up, she had things to do. "So I guess that toast came a little too soon," she conspired with the two guards.

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 22 2007, 10:19 PM
Dominic

The Passengers grumbled and walked off back to the stairs for the most part... some more stomped purposely to splash the busboys and Dominic in anger and stuck-uppity attitudes...

Survivors:
Dominic: 100/100

Jolene
"I'd say so," Frank said, grabbing a spot on one of the upper steps and taking his shoe off to let some water drip out...

Frank: 95/100

Jolene followed him, perching against the hand railing and shaking her foot again. "The one thing these fuckers could do would be t'materialize so I could get a good punch in, right in the nose, y'know? Least they could do." She continued to watch the drama of the first-class snobiteers unfold, ready to herd anybody back in line should they try to make a break for it. At least she wasn't starving anymore. Maybe they could find some decent food elsewhere.

And still, the thought of the water rising up above the windows looking out on the deck kept the hairs on the back of her neck pricked. If she wasn't so damned determined to believe that this was another ghostly hoax, she'd probably be screaming her bloody head off right about now!

Posted by: Arlan Oct 22 2007, 10:25 PM
Dominic stood impassively and made a mental note of the ones who'd splashed him, he'd probably find some way to get back at them for it later. When the passengers had left he turned to the busboys. "You should get upstairs too"

Posted by: Border Walker Oct 22 2007, 10:31 PM
Dominic

However, the minute Dominic turned back to the busboys, he saw a much different sight then the boys. Instead, what he saw was Three Skeletons in busboy outfits, all looking to him and moving around, bones rattling on top of that. No eyes could be seen, and it looked to jsut simply be the skeletons and outfits...

"Will do Dominic!" One of the Mr. Bones Called...

Jolene

"Something tells me this isn't just us experiencing it though. Remember when you were trapped in that kitchen? The other Galleys all chimed saying that the fires on the stove all of a sudden went out. I'm willing to bet there's someone who's experiancing the ones behind this."

Yuki walked on towards the stairs with her head low, and in case anyone was wondering, she was not crying...she was SO not crying! *sniffle*

Dominic

"Alright..." Dominic replied, shaking his head and sighing before turning away from the skeletons to head back for the stairs. "That I don't want to deal with" he said to himself as he cast one last glance over his shoulder to the skeletal busboys...

Posted by: dray Oct 22 2007, 10:39 PM
"Huh?" Jolene replied dumbly. "Oh, wait, you mean like all the decks are flooded up to their ankles? Christ, great. Hope this all disappears like the fire did. That was some messed up shit!"

Posted by: space butler Oct 22 2007, 10:43 PM
William followed the crowds up the stairs, staying at the back of the group to make sure no stragglers stayed behind.

Jolene would have replied, but a pair of brats and their bulldog stormed past, and a familiar (if unwanted) face came after them. "Let's get upstairs if we're not needed," she attempted to hurry the two guards along. The last thing she wanted was a confrontation with Will. She'd be happy to avoid him for the entirety of this trip, if it were possible.

Posted by: Arlan Oct 22 2007, 10:48 PM
"Wonder if anyone on this boat except me is still alive" Dominic said, still mumbling to himself oblivious as he passed the loitering Jolene and group on the stairs.

Posted by: space butler Oct 22 2007, 10:50 PM
William rolled his eyes as Jolene hurried up the stairs. if she wanted to avoid him, he wasn't going to harass her.

he hung back a little, allowing her to put some distance between them, before continuing up the stairs.

Posted by: space butler Dec 19 2007, 11:34 PM
"I haven't got a clue. the arcade was the only half decent way to kill time on this bloody ship." Emma replied.

"Great. You'd think they'd have done more to make this cruise more Modern Family friendly."

Posted by: space butler Dec 20 2007, 12:16 AM
"but then it wouldn't be historically accurate!" Emma joked in reply.

Posted by: Border Walker Dec 20 2007, 11:43 PM
"Historically accurate my ass. What the hell did all those old people do on this damn ship for fun?"

Posted by: space butler Dec 21 2007, 12:33 AM
"drank tea and watched an orchestra?" Emma suggested.

"or maybe they just got hammered and passed out." she joked.

Posted by: Border Walker Dec 22 2007, 12:26 AM
"Well, I'll admit the ship wads pretty accurate, but the rest was shit. Too fucking Mushy."

Posted by: space butler Dec 22 2007, 12:27 AM
"I can't stand mushy films." Emma replied.

"hey, don't they have a cinema on board?" she asked. "we could go see if theres anything good on if we get bored enough.

Dominic carried on towards the rope, keeping an eye out for anything moving around which might wish to eat him, disembowell him, or hurt his feelings...

The only thing he could see was shark fins in water a few decks down...

"So...is that a no or a yes on climbing up ropes over shark-infested waters?" Dominic asked, granted filling people with confidence wasn't his strong point...

Posted by: Border Walker Mar 31 2008, 11:53 PM
"That would be a fair," Natalie said, taking the rope and slowly climbing up it...

"Alright, be careful, I was hoping not to have to dive several stories and wrestle sharks today" Dominic replied, looking up to make sure she was making the climb okay.

"But Strong man Kill Shark," Natalie said, as Dominic caught the sight of something pink beneath her lab coat. "How's the view?" she said with a slight smile...

Dominic cleared his throat and looked away sheepishly, "Was just making sure you were climbing up okay".

"I'm sure you were," Natalie said with a gigle as she continued climbing up and swinging into the Office...

When she was off the rope safely, Dominic started to climb up it himself.

As Dominic began climbing up, his Radio went off...

"Thane...there?...need...override...now!"

Dominic sighed at the bad timing, getting back down off the rope and answering the radio.

"Override? What override, who is this?"

Posted by: Border Walker Apr 1 2008, 09:22 PM
The Radio rang back...

"...Harris...me...override...security system."

"Security Override codes, I don't have them, that would involve our asshole captain actually giving me any useful information that would stop people dying"

There was no response to that...

Dominic didn't have time for this anyway, as he put his radio away again and started up the rope.
