Title: First Class Lounge
Description: Lounge about...
Border Walker - October 2, 2007 03:43 AM (GMT)
The First class lounge is one of the largest rooms on the ship, containing more than enough chairs in the room to accommodate The First class passengers, It accommodates both the Men and the Women aboard the ship and has a heavy Turkish feel to it with the furniture. Bookcases line the rooms with glass windows offering panoramic views of the sea, all waiting for someone to simply pluck off the latest Of Oprah's reading list. Does that woman ever age...?
Mr Drake - October 6, 2007 10:47 PM (GMT)
Pierce stretched back in his chair and took a look at his watch. What time was it anyway? Sometime around 9.00 it seemed. Where it not for the boats early departure Pierce swore he would not even be up at this time of the morning.
Still....here he was...embarking on the maiden voyage of this legendary ship...or so he had been told anyway. It was certainly a finally built vessel....but so far he had failed to see anything legendary. Still....with any luck the ghosts of Christmas past would be ringing the bells before midnight.
Pierce chuckled at this. He still could not understand why people would think that the ghosts from one shipwreck would travel to this one simply because both boats shared the same design...but well....some people just had hyperactive imaginations he supposed.
Anyway...for now Pierce would sit...and then perhaps find something to drink and perhaps some interesting company.
Pierce sat up in his chair and gazed out across the sea view.
Border Walker - October 7, 2007 12:24 AM (GMT)
The sea view outside showed a beautiful scene of the sea, the calm blue adding a nice extra cool feel to the room. Other First Class passengers chatted amongst each other. Some laughing small laughs amongst themselves. Some even were wearing the old vintage clothing of the Victorian era, no doubt purchased especially for the ride...
"Excuse me, is this seat taken?" The question came from a blonde woman in an elegant red dress, her hair making her look almost like many Marilyn Monroe hair styles...
Mr Drake - October 7, 2007 10:22 AM (GMT)
Startled from his thoughts slightly Pierce turned towards the woman. Now this was interesting. Pierce gave the woman a quick look over before commenting.
"Oh my not at all. Iím just gazing out at the view if you will. Pierce Myers by the way...a pleasure to meet you."
With this he gave a little formal bow in his chair...and looked up at the woman with a casual smile.
space butler - October 7, 2007 02:51 PM (GMT)
William walked into the room, continuing to greet the passengers.
Border Walker - October 7, 2007 02:52 PM (GMT)
The woman smiled a small smile, but one that showed thankfulness to him. "Myers? As in the Myers Bank company? Wow. My names Alyson, Alyson Barthon," The woman replied, taking a seat, her sparkly ruby red dress shimmering in the light of the room....
Most of the passengers seemed content in this room, talking amongst themselves in low voices, as was done in First Class lounges...
space butler - October 7, 2007 03:35 PM (GMT)
William wandered through the room towards the bar, continuing to greet the passengers as he went.
Border Walker - October 7, 2007 03:40 PM (GMT)
William has left the Lounge to the Lounge Bar
Mr Drake - October 7, 2007 03:51 PM (GMT)
"Alyson Barthon? What a lovely name....sounds familar"
Pierce chuckled slighly and continued
"And yes....a Myers of Myers bank indeed....I am surprised you have heard of it....nearly all of our buisness is in Britian at the moment. You must have been to Britain at least once then?"
Pierce rose up in his chair some more before adding
"So Ms Barthon....what brings you aboard this cruise?"
Border Walker - October 7, 2007 04:02 PM (GMT)
Alyson smiled, "I was in Britain once, but I moved to Hollywood a few years back. You probably recognize me from the latest Movie I was in, High Class Wreck."
Alyson smiled again before answering his final question, "And my agent thought it would be good publicity if I came on the Maiden voyage. I must say though, this ship is exquisite..."
Mr Drake - October 7, 2007 04:15 PM (GMT)
So...an actress....not bad...not bad at all....although he had certainly not heard of the film...but he nodded all the same. Now all he had to hope for was that she had a brain in that lovely little head of hers and this could be a very good start to the day.
"Yes...it is quite a fine vessel. The decks I have seen thus far are quite well designed...and the staff seem competent at the moment. They certainly cater to culture as well I mean just look at this fine selection of books"
Pierce chuckled and rose from his seat.
"So Ms Barthon.....could I interest you in a little morning drink while we sit here for a while?"
Border Walker - October 7, 2007 04:20 PM (GMT)
"It would be my pleasure Mr. Myers," Alyson replied, smiling and twiddling her eyelids...
Mr Drake - October 7, 2007 04:33 PM (GMT)
"Excellent...you wait right here....oh and what can I get you?"
Border Walker - October 7, 2007 04:39 PM (GMT)
"Bloody Mary," Alyson replied...
Mr Drake - October 7, 2007 04:42 PM (GMT)
"Very good...very good"
Pierce turned swiftly and made his way to the bar.
Border Walker - October 7, 2007 04:57 PM (GMT)
Pierce has left the first Class Lounge for the First Class bar
space butler - October 7, 2007 05:16 PM (GMT)
William followed the passenger, trying to think of an explanation that didn't involve ghosts.
Border Walker - October 7, 2007 06:01 PM (GMT)
The only other explanation could be that maybe the stairs had broken. They were very rusty...
William has left the Lounge for the Grand Staircase Hall
Disgruntled Passenger: 84/100
Mr Drake - October 7, 2007 10:23 PM (GMT)
Pierce began to make his way back to where he had been sitting....hoping that the lovely Ms Barthon was still present.
Border Walker - October 7, 2007 10:34 PM (GMT)
She was, leaning back in her seat in a very elegant lady like pose...
Mr Drake - October 7, 2007 10:41 PM (GMT)
"Ah...there you are."
Pierce returned to his seat and handed the drink to her.
"One Bloody Mary....a good way to start the day"
Pierce chuckled slighly at this and then rose his glass.
"Will you join me in a toast Ms Barthon? To....an historical journey!"
Border Walker - October 7, 2007 10:45 PM (GMT)
Alyson rose her glass as well, smiling, "To a historical journey," she said, as the glasses clanged together, Alyson retracting her glass and taking a sip.
Mr Drake - October 7, 2007 11:01 PM (GMT)
Pierce took a sip of his glass and relaxed back into his chair.
"So...Alyson....being an actress must be very interesting....how long have you been at it....and what interesting stories do you have to tell?"
Border Walker - October 7, 2007 11:13 PM (GMT)
"Three years now, and I've been in two movies. The first I told you about, High Class Wreck, which was about a group of people having to Stop a bomber from turning the Train into a Wreck. The other was a Remake of the Buffy Movie, which critics said greatly improved it." Alyson replied.
Mr Drake - October 8, 2007 11:19 AM (GMT)
Pierce did remember that Buffy remake....not the greatest flim in the world...but not that bad.
"Three years aye....marvelous"
Pierce leaned towards Alyson slighly and continued
"So...seen any....strange goings on about the ship yet?" he chuckled
Border Walker - October 8, 2007 04:53 PM (GMT)
"Only some Flickering lights and the Occasional moan, but nothing out of this world crazy," Alyson replied, then took a sip of her bloody Mary. "Still a wonderful experience being on here."
space butler - October 8, 2007 09:02 PM (GMT)
William crossed the lounge, heading back towards the bar.
Border Walker - October 8, 2007 09:11 PM (GMT)
William has left the First Class Lounge for the First Class Bar
space butler - October 8, 2007 09:29 PM (GMT)
William headed back towards the corridor, trying to remember how to get to the first class promenade deck.
Border Walker - October 8, 2007 09:46 PM (GMT)
It really was just a matter of exiting through the Grand Staircase on whichever Deck level...
William has left the First Class Lounge for the Grand Staircase Hallway
Mr Drake - October 10, 2007 06:37 PM (GMT)
Pierce chuckled at Alysons comments
"Really....that is interesting....don't worry though....I imagine its only a matter of time before a bunch of ghost pirates take over the ship aye?"
Pierce laughed again.
"Still...I dont suppose you have any idea of entertainments being lined up on this cruise do you? I am wondering what to do with the rest of my day"
Border Walker - October 10, 2007 08:01 PM (GMT)
"From what I know, this is actually more of a pleasure cruise. There is a Casino in the mall if I remember correctly..."
Mr Drake - October 11, 2007 11:18 AM (GMT)
"Is that so....hmmm interesting"
Pierce was not really that much into gambling...what was the point in getting more money when you already had so much already.Furthermore Pierce was the kind of person who prefered to win something as much as possible...and the odss in most games of chance where not good enough in his opinion.Still...
"Well what are you thinking of doing for the rest of the day...perhaps you would care for some company?"
Border Walker - October 11, 2007 03:18 PM (GMT)
"Well, I was planing on attending the Lunch soon, and then perhaps head for a swim. I'd love if you joined me." Alyson answered smiling...
Mr Drake - October 12, 2007 11:55 AM (GMT)
"Lunch and a swim...sounds good....I would certainly love to join you"
After all in Pierce view lunch was always good....and whilst swimming had not been his thing too much as a child...after certain events he had forced himself to be quite a good swimmer...at least in his opinion.
Border Walker - October 12, 2007 09:22 PM (GMT)
"Wonderful," Alyson said as she finished her drink, "Then perhaps we should head to the Dining Lounge. Care to escort me?"
Mr Drake - October 13, 2007 10:30 AM (GMT)
"But of course"
Pierce rose from his seat and offered his arm to Alyson.
"By all means lead the way"
Border Walker - October 13, 2007 04:14 PM (GMT)
Alyson took the hand and walked with Pierce along...
Pierce and Alyson have left the First Class Lounge for the Grand Staircase Hallway
