Interesting. 01:00 : "Why (pause) are you involved? Why are you taking responsibility for this? You know. Because this is a big thing."

Connect that up with what Lloyd said in the car, recorded by CIT. I don't have the exact quotes at hand at the moment but it is almost the same words. Something like, 'This is a big thing. I'm not supposed to be in this. I'm just a small man.'

Lloyd's question as quoted in this interview are made to look rhetorical, asking a perpetrator why he did this. But there is another implicit interpretation in the context of the CIT interview. In that context he is asking, and he says it right out, "Why are you taking responsibility for this?" Why would Lloyd even ask that question, even rhetorically, if he didn't know or have reason to suspect that Mosaui was NOT responsible?

what a coincedence, i just found that video the other day when i posted quotes from it in the lloyde/rosslyn thread, but hadnt gotten around to posting a link to it, and now aldo beat me to it! hehhe... j/k


anyways, i wrote out these thoughts at the time and didnt post them, but it seems painter and i have very similar takes on the clip:

-they chopped the hell out of his interview and it seems they could barely even come up with some good soundbytes to fit their intended theme. he says he wants to know why moussavi would accept responsibility for this and then he speaks again (like he did with craig) of this "big thing". i would love to have seen/heard or been present for lloyde's actual and full interview, cuz it seems nbc/wrc changes the context of that statement, well - they try to anyway. if you pay close attention you see that his statement about mouss was seperate from when he says "cuz its a big thing". at least to me it seems like 2 seperate statements, partly cuz for the mouss section of his statement has no video of lloyde, and then there is a cut to his second statement about big things.

but even if it was IN context and not chopped/joined/edited together, its still a weird thing for him to say. its almost like he is implying knowledge that moussavi was NOT involved, so why involve himself with such "big things"?

i dont know... maybe im reading too much into it - but his statement is weird and confusing, which what lloyde pretends to be when he knows cameras are rolling.
