Title: Double in Shuckums Bar

John Doe II - March 24, 2011 11:03 AM (GMT)
People might recall that the presence of Atta and Al Shehhi in Shuckums (Hollywood, FL) on September 7, 2001 posed a big challenges to the official story. Their heavy drinking in this bar has been witnessed by many and widely reported in the media. Yet the Commission Report states that Atta travelled to Baltimore the very same day. The last flight from Fort Lauderdale (closest airport to Hollywood) to Baltimore took off at 7.30 p.m. If one assumes that all the reportings that have him drinking longer than 7 p.m. are wrong, that he managed 12 miles to the airport in a quarter of an hour and if he was still allowed to check in at 7.15 p.m. and that the reportings of Atta and Al Shehhi in Sarasota the same evening are wrong, too, than the drinking in Shuckums so far was no definite proof that Atta had a double.
This changed now with the publication of the evidences presented in the Moussaoui trial.
Open the one on Atta (OG00020.02 at the bottom of the page)
Here you find now:
On Sep 7 a wire transfer from Al Shehhi's and Atta's account happened on Sep 7 at 15:58.
This pushes the beginning of the drinking to later than 4 p.m. or somehow the alleged hijackers interrupted their session which has not been reported.
It gets worse.
Now open the file on Al Shhehi (open OG00020.01 at the bottom of the list). Here you find:
Al Shehhi made on Sep 7 at 16:56 in Deerfield Beach an ATM withdrawal fom Saeed Al Ghamdi's account and was taken on video.
Now, how is this possible. At the very same time he’s supposed to drink in Hollywood which is 20-25 miles away. All reports talk of Atta and Al Shehhi drinking there. If Al Shehhi arrived just after 4 p.m. in Hollywood then he would have had to leave the bar right away in order to drive back to Deerfield Beach (where by the way he was coming from) and could only have returned back to Shuckums around 5.45 p.m. having left Atta alone for 1 ½ hours. All this is in inexplainable contrast to the Atta and Al Shehhi drinking in Shuckums. And I would very much like to see the video footage of Al Shehhi!
It gets even worse.
As officially stated in the already mentioned chronology on Atta he did take Flight 2719 from Fort Lauderdale to Baltimore on September 7, 2001. According to the BTS the plane was scheduled for 3:15 p.m.
Therefore Atta is on a flight to Baltimore while he is still witnessed drinking at Shuckums for hours....!
Therefore we can conclude that Atta and most likely Al Shehhi had doubles.

P.S. As the page of Team8+ unfortunately doesn't exist anymore please use

P.P.S. I intend to post the timelines and other articles very soon.
Though the research is from 2007 (and certainly needs some updates and corrections) I think it should be pretty useful.

Hi John,

Good to see you here.

Do you think that it is possible that this is the fake Atta (Hopsicker's)- the one that is supposed to have been a red herring?

Who are the people who identified Atta and Al Shehhi at Shuckums?

John Doe II - April 1, 2011 08:42 PM (GMT)
And thanks for the invitation.
No, I don't think this can be Arajaki.
Please note that he's witnessed with Al Shehhi and especially he is recognized on a photo shown by a FBI agent before Atta's photo was in the news.
Also: He was again witnessed drinking the evening in Sarasota which of course contradicts the Baltimore story as well.
He was witnessed by the bartender and a waitress. Hopsicker tried to interview them but didn't manage to find them anymore.
here is what I've got in the timeline on this event:

September 7, 2001 afternoon:
Many accounts report that he was drinking with Alshehhi in Shuckums (Hollywood).
“Last Friday night Atta, Al-Shehhi and a third man spent hours drinking”.¬Found=true

The duration of the drinking:
“almost four hours”
(Spiegel, 12/3/01)
„Last Friday night, Atta, Shehhi and an unidentified man spent 3 1/2 hours at a sports bar”¬Found=true
„The Friday night before the attacks, Atta and two other men -- one of them another suspected hijacker, Marwan Al-Shehhi – spent 3 1/2 hours at a sports bar in Hollywood, Fla., called Shuckums”¬Found=true
„Tony Amos, the manager of Shuckums Oyster Bar and Restaurant in Hollywood, just north of Miami, was interviewed by the FBI and he and his barman and a waitress all identified Atta and his cousin as some hard drinkers who propped up the bar last Friday.
Atta's bill for three hours of vodka drinking came to $48 (£33).”

“Atta kept to himself, drinking cranberry juice and playing a video game. For three hours, his two companions knocked back Russian Vodka and orange juice, got loud and griped about the chicken wings.”
(NBC, 9/24/01)
“On Friday evening, Amos said Atta and the other man came into the Shuckums. The pair had been in the restaurant several times before, Amos said. This time, they were there from about 4:30 p.m. until about 7 p.m.
"My bartender said, 'These guys are giving me a hard time,' " Amos recalled yesterday. "I thought, 'Okay, here we go.' I was talking to the big guy, going back and forth. I said, 'Is there a money issue? Do you have enough money to pay the bill?' The guy arrogantly replied, 'I'm an airline pilot. Of course, I have the money.'”
Comment: Strange that he describes Atta with his official 5-feet-8 as “the big guy”

“On September 7, at about 3pm, Atta and Al Shehhi went with another man to Shuckums bar in Hollywood, Florida. The man went off to play a video machine, while Atta and Al Shehhi ordered the first of five rounds of Stolichnaya vodka with orange juice (for Atta) and Captain Morgan with Coke (for Al Shehhi).
After 90 minutes, they were ready to leave, but argued over the $ 48 bill.”
(Daily Mail, 9/16/01)

"We all were able to recognize both gentlemen," Amos said. The men visited the restaurant from about 4 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, and seemed drunk and unruly, he said.
(Sun-Sentinel, 9/13/01)

Beginning of the drinking:
About 3 p.m.
(Daily Mail, 9/16/01)

4 p.m.
(Sun-Sentinel, 9/13/01)

4.30 p.m.¬Found=true

One account specify that the alleged hijackers and their unknown friend left at
7 p.m.¬Found=true
Comment I: The drinking in Shuckums which has been witnessed by several people who have beeen intervieyed by the FBI on September 12 is in clear and 100% contradiction to the official claim that Atta fley on 3.15 p.m. To Baltimore.
Comment II: Please note: According to Daniel Hopsicker Shuckum’s manager Tony Amos and bartender Patricia Idrissi don’t work in the bar anymore and have disappeared. Hopsicker was unable to find them.

September 7, 2001 evening:
Atta stayed at the Holiday Inn (Sarasota) . Perhaps meeting Al Shehhi.
“Atta left the bar after another Middle Eastern man arrived, Sievers said. When the FBI released Atta’s picture Sept. 27, Sievers called the FBI and told authorities what she saw, she told Longboat Key police.
Local police left the investigation at that, but a waiter at the Holiday Inn said Atta did not go far from the bar.
The waiter, Frank Boyal, said Atta and his companion had the hotel’s $18.95 “Surf and Turf” buffet on Sept. 7. “They were just here. I remember the face.”
Boyal said he was struck by the two men’s lack of appetite. The pair only picked at the buffet, Boyal remembered.
Boyal didn’t overhear the two men’s conversation, because it was a busy night and he was “running around like a chicken with its head cut off,” he said. Although he knew Sievers had spoken with the authorities about the sighting, Boyal chose not to mention it to anyone, he said.”
