Have to admit I'm getting both confused and paranoid after the latest post by Kevin Ryan at 911blogger "Up a crooked creek: Censorship and civility in the truth movement".
There's no doubt any more, that 911blogger has been hijacked by the opposition (CIA/or whatever) or maybe has been from the beginning? Needless to say I was banned 2 years ago...
I used to believe that a missile hit the Pentagon in the early days, I became aware of 911truth around 2005. But as soon as I saw CIT:s first presentation I was convinced that they were right. No plane hit the pentagon and the plane flew over. It makes perfect sense.

So what's the deal here? Their tactic is very clear. They accept what is the basis of the 911 truth movement. That the towers and WTC7 were demolished by termite and at the same time fully accept the official story when it comes to the Pentagon. This position leads to some strange logical consequences like LIHOP. But what do they gain? First of all, they gain that there were really a bunch of Muslims who hijacked and flew the planes and that "the war on terror" is at least partly justified. That the official story is partly false but on the whole it is correct. That is LIHOP "Let It Happen On Purpose". The LIHOP idea is so fundamentally illogical that one shouldn't waste any time on it.

Imagine, you've saturated the WTC with termite and explosives and are waiting and hoping that the amateur pilots really will hit the towers so that you can start a war against the Muslim world... pretty dumb ... heh?

Kevin Ryan? Perhaps he's so deep into chemistry and physics concerning the demolitions that he doesn't see the whole elephant in the room? Hard to believe and at the same time it is hard to believe that Kevin Ryan has been working for the other side...

I mean this isn't too hard to understand if you take a slight look at the debate between CIT and their opposition since 4 years back...
If one as a leader of the 911 movement don't get the picture? The movement doesn't deserve a breakthrough. You CIT guys have certainly done more than expected.

I really believe that this issue is settled as far as the mainstream is concerned. One of the main reasons for this is 911blogger. They made it!!

As far as I'm as a Euro is concerned, when it comes to the 911 movement? Fuck it! No hope whatsoever. The issue will become like the JFK murder, a lingering open sore for decades.

This will be my last post on this issue forever...

I agree pagandawn. Clearly the game plan is to keep 9/11 skeptics focused on GZ since their destruction by explosives and the war on terror are not necessarily mutually exclusive.

The shootdown theory at Shanksville also keeps the official story alive.

You've summed it up very well and it matches my own thoughts. But it is all the more reason to stay in for the long haul - the northside evidence is damning for the official story and the last thing "they" want is for NSA to become viral on the internet like Loose Change did.

Hence the numerous articles by all of these "truthers" desperately making it personal about CIT (when it is all about the witnesses) and ensuring by the volume of articles that when people do actually come across NSA, there is so much negative comment about it that someone will assume it isn't worth watching.

So you end up with Chandler (alleged physics guy who sees through the demolition of WTC7) writing articles where he presumably supports the physics of the plane impact at the Pentagon and the impaling of the cab by the lightpole. It has no logic at all and as you say, once you believe that WTC1,2,7 were blown up, how can you then go back to LIHOP, the 19 hijackers with box-cutters and

"The real question is, how did anything strike the Pentagon?" etc etc

So true. I know so many 9/11 truthers who will not support the North Side evidence or Craig & Aldo's investigation, unyet they still will not/have not watched NSA and looked at the evidence for themselves, even when I have sent them the link.
Just goes to show how easy it is to create a climate of groupthink, or, one might say... "to con a movement".

People launching into the same old mantra, debunked "counterevidence", outdated, redundant "witness lists", JREF spin and of course the OCT when they haven't even botherd their ass to watch an 80-90 minute video never mind research the damn subject.

I asked recently on the 9/11Oz open forum why a reknowned anti-truther and Bush apologist (Ron Weick aka "pomeroo" at JREF) was allowed to have a free run on the forum. That if it were any other topic they'd be banned or restricted to the OCT forum. Not even a response.

Jeff "Shure" Hill is there trolling with his monkeys but not to debate or actually discuss anything. It's solely to drop continuous links to disinfo and attack CIT/P4T.
