I realize that the Brokeback Crimelab board hasn't been active in a long time. I love the board, and I do wish it had been active for longer - but we've all got other stuff going on, and there are bigger boards out there where we can discuss most of the same things with a larger group of people.
BC came about when a small group of D/F fans from TalkCSI decided to try creating a dedicated board for the ship that would expand on the single D/F thread in the Shipper Central forum over there. Sometimes these ventures work out, and other times they don't. We had a pretty good run here on BC, and I'm going to leave the board open for several reasons - for one thing, we did have a good run, and there's a lot of fun stuff around the board that lurkers might like to check out. 
Another reason to keep the board open is because we have some fanfic and such posted here that is linked from the D/F Fanfiction Archive (which I do not believe has been updated lately).
If you're a D/F fan looking for fellow slashers to discuss CSI:NY, you should definitely head over to TalkCSI. The board is awesome and has a space to discuss the ship as well as the show itself (the CSI: NY forum can be found here).
If you want to find me (hey, why not, right?  ), I log on to my LiveJournal account every day. Pop in and say hi (anonymous comments are always accepted), or feel free to friend me if you have an account over there. I don't discuss CSI:NY as much these days, but I do still love the guys. (Plus, I post spoilers I come across for the series, so if you're into spoilers, you can find them on my LJ.) 
While you're on LJ, make sure you stop by the D/F community over there. It's not very active, but you'll find most of the new fanfics that get posted there. If you're looking for fanfic, you can also scroll through this community (which has links for tons of pairings, not just slash).
Also, while I haven't posted a chat transcript in ages, we do have a chat on YIM during each new episode (barring any problems - which I have had, believe me  ). If you want to get in on that at any point during the upcoming sixth season, look for the info here on BC or leave a message over on my LJ.
Thanks for visiting the Brokeback Crimelab board! Thanks to everyone who has joined and posted over the years - and a big thank you to anyone who sees the board and wishes it was more active. Believe me, we all wish the same thing. But BC was great when it was running, and I still love the board and have fond memories from when it was active. But don't be sad - TalkCSI is active, awesome and waiting for more fans!

Hey everybody! I've been active the past little while, so I thought I'd make a note of what I've done.
I've updated the countdown at the top of the board to reflect the projected return of CSI:NY for the fifth season: September 24. Unfortunately, the countdown seemed off, so I had to tweak it so it would appear correctly. Let me know if the numbers are off.
The board has been pretty inactive for a while, but the only way to change that is for people to post and get discussions going. BC is whatever you want or need it to be, and remember that we're quite lax with our rules about content/language. I've bumped some threads and opened a few (check the announcements forum for more information).
I've also added several chat transcripts from season 3. |

~ Check out the transcript for our BC chat from "Murder Sings the Blues" in the Break Room. Watch for the rest of the season's transcripts to pop up in the near future.
