It's been a tough 1.5 weeks to just get ramdriv.sys to size to something other than 64 mbs. Luckily I finally found something that said to grab the old ramdriv.sys from the older pe builder.

Now I have SetRamDriveGUI running and can create a 512 or whatever size of RAMDisk I need.

I made my first .iso using SetRamDriveGUI enabled and going to Step 3 of the Bart AIO. This created a 300 mb iso which seemed to load into RAM fine. SetRamDriveGUI popped up and showed the RAM drive was at 384 MB so that seemed fine.

The problem I have is no matter what profile I start up with (ReaToGoLogin) I get the following errors (if it gets that far):
An error has occurred while setting up "browseui.dll" and a 2 others.

Back when I only could get a 64 mb Ram drive I saw these errors as there was not enough ramdrive space.

Since most of the machines at work use 512 or 1 Ghz of memory I would really like to be able to load a 400mb or so iso into memory so I can remove the cd and burn the backup info to a dvd.

So can the Bart AIO throw 300 and 400 mb .iso's into memory and work or do I need to use the batcher and work with 64 mb max only?

PS.. I was looking for a troubleshooting forum but I didn't see one.

Thanks for any help, after 1.5 weeks the hair is getting thin help.gif

There is a hard limit for RAM booting a ISO sized up to a max of 500Mb - Any value beneath this limit is well tolerated.

The errors you're experiencing are more likely related to XPE itself (reatogo is based on it) rather than a lack of RAM.

I'd recommend using simple builds with RAM boot and only then add a RAM drive to check where things can be going wrong - this implies only using XPE on a final step when all previous features are debugged.

btw: BartAIO forum is a good place to place troubleshooting questions..

Good luck!
