I. Forum

• Accounts that have not been logged into for FIVE days after registering will be deleted without question.
  
• Newly created accounts that have not made a post in ONE MONTH will be deleted, logging in or not.
  
• Upon activating your account, you must modify your profile and capitalize your name.
  
• Pick the gender in your profile that is of your CHARACTER, not you personally.
  
• Do not create accounts unless you have characters for them.
  
• It is preferred to have an account for each character, however it is not necessary. Make it clear what character you are playing if they do not have their own account.
  
• Do not put huge pictures in your signature. I would prefer signatures to be small and simple like a banner.
  
• Do not bump old threads with something stupid. If something is a month old and there's no reason to reply to it, then don't.
  
• OOC and IC are two different things. Please do not take character fights OOC, or OOC grudges IC.
  
• I don't care how much you swear outside of the IC area, but keep it down when RPing.
  
• There will be absolutely NO art theft on this forum. Members here are from all over the place. If I don't recognize where it's from then someone else will. Credit everything if it's not from within the forum. Crediting is not just a name, it is telling who made it and where they're from and usually a link back to where you got the image. If for any reason you are asked to take it down, tell me about it. I will look into it and if needs be I will remove any offending images. If you are in question of using it or not, I don't mind you using it, but be sure to credit by link. If the artist tells you to take it down, then remove it.
  
• If I, or anyone else catches someone stealing from this forum, like my templates, I will not hesitate to ban you and warn friends of your thievery.
  
• I do not censor anything from anyone. Talk about whatever you please OOC.
  
• There is no age discrimination on the forum. However, if your grammar, vocabulary, and spelling does not match that of a 8th grade education, then this place is not for you. Also if you don't have the common sense of a middle school kid, this is not a place for you.
  
• There will be no pornographic materials posted. Artistic nude is just fine.
  
• I ask that you are careful of posting your real life information. Although I would love to say everyone on my forum is a good person, there really is no telling. Post it at your own risk.
  
• Please do not use pictures directly from an anime or game. You may edit those images to fit your character though, if permission is granted. Such as photoshopping a Princess Mononoke wolf to look like your character.
  
• Absolutely no design theft. Inspiration from another is okay, but if I see an exact replica it will be removed and you will be suspended.
  
• Abide by user's personal rules. If they say do not use their stuff outside the forum, then don't.
  
• Many here have come from the BBA. And if we catch you stealing anything from the BBA, we are going to know. And we're going to report it to Kay as well as ban you. So just don't do it.
  
• It is your duty as a member to help advertise this place a little.
  
• Be sure it's OK with any artist from anywhere before you use their templates here on this forum. And ALWAYS link back to the originals.
  
  
  
  II. Roleplay
  
  
  
• No character may have completely outrageous colors. This means I don't want to see an orange, blue, and pink wolf. I don't want to see a sun yellow and lime green Sabre. This doesn't mean you are prohibited from unnatural colors. Just please don't blind us.
  
• "Hair" On your wolf or sabre character is not allowed. Fur fluff, however, is. Use Delgnat or Cronic as an example. It can look like hair, but it's still short and still part of the fur.
  
• HELL BEASTS! This is a new rule affective on this forum. Hellbeasts will be allowed but in a very STRICT number. They will also be limited on looks. I don't want the character looking physically impossible with horns growing from every hole and piercings on every part possible. Make it simple, or else it's not being made here at all. The character will either have to originate from the Obsidian paradise or come from another land. That is the rule.
  
• By deciding to RP in dangerous lands, your character is freely able to be killed. If you don't want it to be, talk to the RPers before posting and arrange something.
  
• Humans are allowed to roam. They live across from the Youkol dogs, but they are not common.
  
• Humans and Ferals cannot understand eachother unless the human was raised by the feral.
  
• Your character may NOT have any powers, wings, over exaggerated strength or speed or any such things as that.
  
• I am not the judge of any pack's alphas. What they say goes unless it goes against the my ultimate say and rules.Your character listens to them.
  
• Any fight that breaks out must be monitored by a ranking member.
  
• No powerplaying or godmoding. These are old and basic rules.
  
• Please discuss with the other person you are RPing with if it's okay to do an autohit. It can get very annoying trying to attempt everything.
  
• When your character dies, it is dead. There will be no reviving it.
  
• When you RP one of the native species (Aryian, Bloodback, Whiteback, or Chicotah) then please read about their behavior and play them generally by that. Even in the wild every subspecies of wolf has it's own behavior.
  
• Wolves do NOT rape. If a female is in heat, that is the only time a male can force himself upon her, because she is flaunting it and wanting it if she is not mated.
  
• When RPing, pay attention to the environment from the starting post and following posts.
  
• There are seasons in this roleplay, so please do pay attention to that as well. Generally the seasons will follow the seasons in the US. If it's winter here, it's going to be cold in the RP.
  
• No joykilling. There must be a reason even if it's a tiny one.
  
• Characters may only exceed the maximum height by 5 inches (at max), but it is rare that any native specie exceeds.
  
• If you choose to play a native species, keep in mind their color pallet. For example: Aryian wolves usually have any shades of brown, gray, white, and a reddish brown. Don't make an Aryian wolf that's black and mustardy yellow. Get the idea?
  
• If your character dies, then delete their profile. It is not my responsibility to clean up your trash.
  
  
  
  III. Activity
  
  
  
• You must be online and make a post once a week unless you tell me otherwise or there is nothing to reply to.
  
• There will be activity checks bi-monthly - every two months. This means you need to supply me with an active email account so you can reply to the checks. If you don't, I will delete you after two weeks of no reply.
  
• Try to keep fellow members active by RPing with them.
  
• If you have more than one character, you only need to post on one per week to be considered active. However, do not let any of your characters fall inactive for more than one month.
  
• If you need to leave for any reason at all, please post in the "goodbye" sub-board or PM me. I understand that some of you get grounded and are unable to tell me right away, so try your best to get on or tell someone that could tell me.
  
• Just because I delete your account for inactivity does not mean you have been banned. You are welcome to register again.
  
  
  
  IV. Respect
  
  
  
• I am to be respected at all times. I own this forum, every character, and I own you as long as you're a part of it. I am a fair person if you give me reason to be fair.
  
• People get in arguments. Please Don't be over dramatic about it or take it too far. In fact, if you don't like someone else just keep your mouth shut.
  
• Anyone holding Mod powers is always to be respected.
  
• My officers hold all of my powers, so if you treat them like crap I wont even get onto them for banning you without my permission.
  
• All officers will be elected by forum users, and a few will be selected by me.
  
• Please act mature towards eachother. Don't get into pety little arguments or start calling eachother names. If there's something really serious, take it to me.
  
• Copying is very rude. If someone comes up with something, don't copy it.
  
• All Mods have limits to their powers, and if said powers are being abused it must be reported PRIVATELY to me, Kero, or an Officer. I will not tolerate bullying from my staff.
  
  
  V. Main Characters
  
  
  
• Two main characters per person. (Original Forum members are excluded from this rule)
  
• Do not assume you will automatically get one you applied for. You may have to try for it two or three times.
  
• Once a main, ALWAYS A MAIN! Unless you are unable toe access internet, are banned, leave the forum, or I resign you.
  
• Send all applications to me or Kero through PM.
  
• Pay attention to the list of main characters already taken.
  
• When you have taken one, give me your nickname to list the character under. (Such as mine is Moki)
  
• Main characters must stick directly to the plot, and if I say they're going to die, they will die.
  
• You must keep your main characters active. They come before any of your other characters.
  
  
  
  VI. Other
  
  
  
• You may or may not like me. I am not the reason you're here though. I don't care if you hate my guts, you're here to roleplay, not to associate with me personally. If you follow my rules we wont have any reasons for conflict. Remember that I run this forum. Kero is my right-hand woman but all of this was out of my head. It takes a lot of time, a lot of hard work, and a lot of dedication. Respect is all I ask for from anyone.
  
• This forum is a COMMUNITY. Lets remain one, eh?
  
• DRAGONS have recently been added, and there are characters available to adopt. You must stick to their behavior and restrictions.

What is the story behind all of this?
Creations, The History.

What time Era is it in?
I thought about this for a long time, and finally decided to make my own era. Very similar to that of the days when Sabre and Dire roamed the earth. Man took longer to evolve, thus the prehistoric species lasted longer and still thrive along with more modern ones you'd find today. Such as dogs (Wolf and fox hybrids, of course), Cougars, and even the feral Cat. The Wooly Mammoth still stomps on the earth, but slowly is starting to die off because of Man and the changing weather. Man is very primitive. They have their own language and live in tribes. They work with stone and bone tools and weapons. All that good stuff. The man of this age and time look more like Native Americans.

What are some of the main species existing?
Dire Wolves, Grey and Timber wolves, Arctic wolves, Sabres, Lions, Cougars, Cheetahs, Cats, Wolfdogs, Foxes, Bears, Horses, Rodents, Fish, Mammoths, Birds, reptiles. Keep in mind this place focuses mainly on wolves.

Are the species here real species?
They're Wolves and Sabres, yes, but not they are not real. I made them up.

Can I make my own Pack?
No. We tried that before and it didn't work very well.

What species aren't allowed?
Any mythical creature is forbidden. I'm very strict on hellhounds allowed. Ask me if you have a species in question. (Dragons have recently been added as an acception.)

What colors of fur are allowed?
Well. I don't want to see every color of the rainbow on one wolf, okay? Try not to use very many bright colors. I will accept some unnatural colors, but if I say it's too extreme then you'll have to change it.

Can my character have piercings/accessories?
Only if they got it from humans. Only materials allowed are Stone, Shell, Leather, and Bone.

Can I RP a native wolf/sabre?
Of course! But be sure to have their general behavior down.

How many Characters can I have?
As many as you want. But remember, if you can't keep them active, you'll have to delete some.

Can I RP something else?
Nothing too exotic. Ask me through PM about a species you might want to RP. I will allow Small horse and deer herds.

So are you the owner?
Yes, I am the owner and creator of Bloodloss. Kero is the co-owner of this project.

Will you RP?
Yes. Infact I RP Breakbone, the alpha of Bloodbacks, and Teekon, brother to Kreuz and Pisca.

What if I'm not a good RPer?
Then you'll learn, wont you? I will not allow one-liners here. PLEASE type, spell, and all that good stuff at at least a 6th grade level. If it seems like your younger sibling is on there tapping randomly away, you don't belong here.

What do I do when I want to create a character?
Post the information in the Character Index. you can use the example post. If you want, use the templates the artists have made to make a visual of your character. After that, pick a place your character will fit in and post.

What if my character dies?
Then it's dead. There is no ghost. No sudden reincarnation. By going into an RP in risky lands, you should expect the chances of your character dying.

Can I have a high rank of a pack/pride?
That's up to their alphas.

Do I have to follow the storyline?
Not exactly. Main characters get that job. You need to follow the general flow of it, though. If your pack is getting ready for a war, you cannot be off doing something else. You'll be getting ready, too. However, Main characters will keep this place moving.

What's a main character?
Certain main role characters from the storyline given to specific people.

Does this forum have a website?
Right here. But keep in mind the information on this website follows the Comic, not the forum.

What if I don't like you?
Too bad then, huh? You don't have to like me to be here. Chances are you wont even roleplay with me unless you join the Bloodback pack.

What if my character isn't native to this place? can it still join a pack/pride?
By me, I say feel free to. But it is up to the pack leaders to accept your character or not.

What the hell is a "native"?
Well - look the word up. Natives are creature that originated on that land. The wolves are native to lands, to their packs. They were born, raised, had families, and died there. Someone who is not a native came from other lands - they're foreigners. Native species are those that developed here on Ruritia: Bloodbacks, Whitebacks, Aryians, Chicotah, and Youkol.

Did you just rip this from BBA?
Absolutely not. The BBA inspired me to do this, yes, but our storylines are completely different as are the forums and characters. Even the way BL members and BBA members RP is different. The only thing that I "took" from the BBA was the Sabre idea, but due to the timeline, they'd exist anyway. And I have talked to the mods of BBA and shown this to Kay herself. None of them find it a stolen idea, so stop saying as much.

Why are some of the leaders of the packs not matching the species colors?
Just because they lead the pack doesn't mean they are from it. Some of the leaders came from other lands and took over.

What are the restrictions on specie colors?
Any color on the specie you can make uniform (Meaning solid), Twotone (two colors), Triscale (Three colors) or more depending on how many. You can have various shades of one color. However, if it is a pure native, meaning no mix of anything else at all, it must stick to it's colors. Only mixed breeds and foreigners may have other colors. (This is an exception with Sabres, as in real life felines tend to have all sorts of gene mutations causing variations of colors. Nothing too far from normal, though)
And there is no restriction on eye color. Keep it fairly realistic.

How many main characters can I have?
Two.
And I will give these to those I believe will RP them well. If you have too many characters, chances are I'm not going to let you play another one.

What if I don't want to play a main character anymore?
Too bad. It's in the rules that you're stuck with that character unless you can't even be a member here anymore or I strip you of the right to play it.

Where can I find the pictures of the main characters and which ones are taken?

How can I be staff?
Mods are usually alphas or betas of a pack so that if the admins are not here they can take care of things inside their pack. However, Officers are elected by the forum members.

Why aren't you on all the time?
Because I have a very busy life. I'm in college 14 hours, trying to find a job, and I have things to do.

Can I leave any time I want to?
I'd prefer you didn't, but if you really need to leave, just tell us and we'll try our best to understand. No hard feelings.

Why do you like to be called a dictator? Isn't that a little conceited?
Yes it is :D But it's fun, and dictators by political definition aren't always bad. Just usually someone who takes control by force. It was a joke to start with, and everyone stuck with it.

If I have a question, who do I ask?
Me, Kero, Officers, or any mods. If all else fails, ask the forum as a whole.

What is an Officer?
Officers are trusted people of the forum whom hold the same powers admins do for times of emergency or when we can't be here. They know all info on the forum as well as we do and they know how to operate it as if it were their own. Officers are elected, and very rarely will I give that position to someone because I like them. If the members see another member that should be an officer, then make a thread in the "Officer Suggestion" board and post who it is and several reasons supporting it. Kero, Mods, and I will then discuss it and either accept or decline.
