Welcome to Bloodloss! This is a wolf Roleplaying forum, and the plot is generally based off the comics in progress - Wolf Blood and Wolf's Loss. There are also novels in the process of being written. We are a small community, but we try hard and don't give up easily. This is a Literate forum that has a zero-tolerance policy for illiterate roleplayers.
The creator of everything is the one known as Toksyc, also known as Moki. However, shortly after the project started, Kero joined forces with her, and together they have made this awesomeness for you. Enjoy!

Aryian Forest
The Aryian forest lays at the base of the mountains and is fed by the fresh water river that comes from the melting snow and ice in the northern most reaches of the heights. Trees grow thick and tall, and at their prime, they are the deepest green in all of Ruritia. Large elk have even been spotted in this forest, where winter is never harsh. Years ago, there was a terrible flood that nearly killed the Aryians because of an unusually warm year. From high above, the scar of the torrents path can still be seen.

Deep Forest
Beyond the Aryian's lush territory, the forest continues to grow thick and deep. For fear of the unknown, the Aryians left it unclaimed. Inside the cool darkness lies silence and peace, a place where herbivores gather in large numbers nearly undisturbed. Many brave hunters have ventured into this patch of forest, never to be heard or seen of again. Easily one can get lost... somehow all scent markings seem to just vanish. Who knows what kind of things besides prey could be lurking?

Obsidian Paradise
Even deeper than the Deep forest, the Obsidian Paradise lies as far east as the forest will extend before the mountains cut it off from the Ocean. Sharp, tall, and jagged spires of rock block the entry, as do small cliffs, and swift water in the wide river. Beyond the natural barriers lies a mystery, for no beast has ever returned alive to speak of it. It is rumored that hellish and heavenly beasts alike share the darkened forest.

Bloodback Mountains
Looming over the continent are the iron-rich mountains, named after the pack who took them. They are small mountains, but still tall enough to gather snow at their peaks and hold it there all year around. Trees grow sparsely, but shrubs and small plants offer enough cover and protection. Many places on the mountain are steep and jagged - it could be a Stranger's death wish to climb without help. Prey animals larger than rabbits or goats is rare, but able to be found if one knows where to look.

Whiteback North
Just northwest of the Bloodback's territory is the newly expanded Whiteback's. Freed of their icy prison, they now live in a much more southern area, where the snow will actually melt in the warm seasons, trees are not stripped of leaves, and food is plentiful. During the winter, snow is heavy, and it continues to blanket the ground until late spring. Although it still is not as rich as the Bloodback's, it is a new paradise to wolves who came from a frozen hell.

Haven
Directly west of the Aryians and below the mountains is a small patch of woodland that is kept neutral for Strangers and Loners seeking peace and rest. It is even a refuge or exiles. Many species live in an unspoken truce together, Big cats and Wolves alike. Small deer and rodent is about the only thing to catch, but enough to live on. In the summer months, the Haven tends to be one of the most beautiful places to be as all the various wildflowers, fruit trees, and berry bushes come into bloom.

Youkol Dogs
Slightly south, the Aryians forest begins to taper off into simple woodlands, separated by a small section of the Wolfbane. It is here the rogue dogs of Man came and made an alliance with the wolves, here they call home. Although they are not as organized as the wolves are, they are headstrong and do not back down easily. They welcome just about any that stray from heir human companion and wish to return to their wild roots.

Greystrom Woodlands
Far Southwest of the Aryian and Youkol packs, woods spring up from an often flooded flat-land. Trees contort and twist into unnatural shapes, the air is humid, fleas are abundant, and the Wolfbane river often swells well over its banks. It is here the brutal Chicotah first made home, and now where the Greystrom have taken over. A rather unpleasent place for a rather unpleasent pack.

Skyview Wastelands

Fed only by a thin vein of the Wolfbane that barely even trickle throughout the year, this patch of earth has become dry and desolate. No plant dare grows, in risk of being burned alive in the scorching heat of the day. The only shelter provided are the bare skeletons of trees and shrubs, maybe the ocassional boulder. The cracked earth during the hottest point in the day can severely burn paws, and the blazing sun can cause quick dehydration. However, once the sun sets and the ground is cooled, the desert seems to come alive with nocturnal species.

The Savannah
Once beyond the wasteland, the vast Savannah prairie begins. This is the land ruled by the Big cats. Two clans of Sabres call it home and share it with several other smaller species. Upon the Savannah's main land lives the Ironfang, a peaceful, wise clan that will sometimes share valueable information with the Wolves to the east. Several oddly shaped trees offer shelter and protection, as does the tall grass.
