I'm still slightly confused, and reading the rules over a good couple times, but this looks like a wonderful place.

I'm still getting a grasp on the rules, and whatnot, and do have a question. If I apply, what would one usually start off as? A loner, or an omega of a pack? How would that effect being native or outsider, as well?

About your question, I think it's usually just what they need the most, or where your character would fit well in the pack. No, you don't have to since you're new.

The other question though, When you create your character, there are a few things that can happen.
A. If it is an outside species, you have to be accepted into the pack no matter what. You will be accepted as omega almost always.
B. If you choose to make a native species, you can discuss it OOC with the alpha about already being a member, or you can just RP being accepted, either way.
