I smiled and purred, a sound that resonated deep in my throat and filled the air around us, low enough and quiet enough that only we would share in its beauty. I sighed and closed my eyes. I knew the answer without thinking. I was passed thinking. I was simply emotion. Emotions like desire, admiration, longing, adoration, and love. Especially love.

"Of course, Twilight. I couldn't imagine how I'd rather spend my life."

"Morningleaf," I murmured blissfully, "Thank you. I love you." I let out a deep purr. I imagined my life filled with Morningleaf, hunting and fighting alongside each other. What better way to live a life, with the one you truly love? It was a bright future. Just the thought of Morningleaf made my heart sing.

As Silvertalon would say, all is well. I was content.

*even shorter*

((Sure. Shall they have a romantic hunt?))

A shred of my more proper self nudged its way into my actions. I stood up, shaking the dust from my fur as I heaved a sigh. "I wish this could last forever, but we can't just idle."

It pained me to say this. I truly wished this could last forever with every fiber of my being and every wish I'd ever made. But Lightningstar wouldn't have it, and I knew that. With a sigh I gazed at the tom who had helped me reach an epiphany. I marveled once more on how I could not have noticed him in the way I do now before. How could I have been so blind?

"Would you like to hunt?" I asked him eagerly after I had searched the camp for something productive to do with Twilightfur. The freshkill pile was almost empty.

[Icebreath]

"Sure," I replied happily. Hey, I'd swim with Morningleaf if that was what she wanted. She was so amazing and pretty and smart... my tail waved in anticipation. I imagined the moons to come, hunting and fighting alongside each other.

But I had to get all of that out of my head and start thinking about today. Morningleaf wanted to hunt, didn't she? I took a deep breath, inhaling Morningleaf's sweet smell, and leaves, and moss and kit-scent and... mouse.

A bit odd that the little gray bundle of fur was so close to camp, but whatever. It wouldn't spend much time here any longer. I dropped instinctively into the hunter's crouch, sniffing again. I could smell it, but where was it? Or was it just a freshly-killed mouse, its smell wafting from the pile? If it was, I'd look really stupid, crouching in the middle of camp.

"Morningleaf?" I hissed quietly, "do you smell that?"

[Mapleleaf]

((Er... *has no idea what Morningleaf is supposed to smell so will type a short post*))

Morningleaf stared in confusion as Twilight dropped into a crouch. She almost laughed, giddy from their conversation. She nearly missed what Twilightfur asked, cocking an ear and trying to make out what he said by only hearing half.

"Oh, uh," Morningleaf exclaimed. Embarassed, she sniffed the air. Taking into account everything she smelled was hard with Twilightfur's luscious aroma so close. She exhaled with a contented sigh. She froze for and moment, noting something queer. She inhaled again. There was definitely something odd. Mouse, was it? It smelled alive. Or was it just freshly killed. She looked around, but there were no hunting patrols returning.

"Mouse?" She asked, unsure of herself.

((I didn't even notice I was typing in third person until about halfway though. XD))
