Eternal Silverpelt, good idea.

I think in Eternal Silverpelt, everyone gets to have one kit or cat that learns a special power, and will live with it forever, related to warriors that no one elts knows.

Others know, but their cats don't, so this is a secret in the warrior world, unless the cat with the power tells another for example; Icefang has the power to speak with Starclan even though she is not Leader, kind of like Fireheart, and no one knows unless she walks up to another cat and says “I can speak to Starclan”

Or another example is, Snowkit can see where others have walked by seeing a ghostly paw prints leading to where one has gone but no one elts sees the paw prints.

The Warriors don't make every single cat in the book have a special power for a reason. Because they will be overpowered, supernatural cat freaks. We're keeping this forum as close to this one as possible.

However, I'm happy to say that some special powers are still allowed, just like in the books. Just ask permission and if it's not too far-fetched you're allowed to play it. :)

Yes, I agree with Amber that you can't have superhero cats, because that would be going way away from the books and BSRP. But I'd also like to mention that most powers are given for a reason. Firestar was given his dreams so that he would come to the forest and save ThunderClan. Squirrelflight and Leafpool were given their powers so that they could make sure that each was okay as Squirrelflight embarked on the Great Journey. The trio were given their powers so that they would be able to fulfill the prophecy. So I wouldn't suggest giving a cat a power for no reason.

Although I'd also like to inquire about Icebreath-cat's power. She can read emotions and occassionally intentions of other cats and animals. Not in the way of Jayfeather, where he can see exactly what someone is thinking; I really wanted her to be a cat that could actually exist. I believe Abyssinians and a lot of other cats can read emotions. She doesn't read them through any mystical force, though; she reads body language and detects fear-scent, and sometimes she's wrong anyway. A flick of the tail, twitch of the ears, whiskers, etc.

Ok maybe I over stepped it, maybe 5 cats 1 from each clan Starclan, Thunderclan, Shaddowclan, Windclan, and Shaddowclan, and the cats have a special mission they need to use there powers on.

Kind of like Brambleclaw, Squirrelpaw, and well etc.., how they had to find Midnight the Badger and a new home.

That sounds interesting, only the problem is that it's not a plot everyone can participate in, and there wouldn't be a clear reason to journey, since changing the territories would be a hassle. What if everyone wanted a hero cat? That would pose a bit of a challenge.

Remember that we want to stick to the books at least to a certain point. Even in the books, cats don't save the Clans all the time.

Hmmmm. Well, that is a plot, but aside from the flaws Icebreath already pointed out, we already have three plots we're going to do. =[ Sorry, but I don't think we'll be needing one for a while.

mini-plots are good though! Anyone can have any number of mini-plots going on at the same time. Mini-plots are in-characters plots that go on between a small number of people, but it isn't really big or roleplay-effecting, thus avoiding the flaws Icebreath listed. If you could turn that into a mini-plot it would most likely be acceptable.

To have the ability to read the emotions of a surrounding being is not quite a power, nor is it at all fictitious. The correct term would simply be, "extremely sensitive to the air of others". Argue you me on this one; but I can talk from personal experience. Honestly. Whenever I walk into a room, if I focus on a certain person -- doesn't matter if I know them personally or not -- their emotions and reactions are rather clear to me. I've had family members that are the same way, and know a few other kids that can do this as well. I'm not bragging in the least, either: being able to do this is a burden. It's great when you want to help somebody, or intervene on a bad situation, as it allows you to react without hurting, alienating, placing the blame on, or making things worse for said person. But, do you honestly want everyone's everyday woes handed unintentionally to you? It gets frustrating at times, for me at least.

Keep that in mind while playing her, it may help make her more realistic.

Of course, I could be wrong. It may very well be some odd power handed to some people or other creates. But, if that is the case, then I -- along with those others I know -- am a supernatural freak. And, for some reason, I highly doubt that.

That is cool, Maybe in Eternal Siverpelt Icefang can have the power to speak with Starclan, or maybe she can be psychic to where she can tell a cats future if they ask for her help, or she can sence when danger is near, or something like all this?

@Ember: Hmm, that's interesting. =3 Well, I guess it's not nice to get burdened, but it's still interesting 8D... I don't think Icebreath-cat feels burdened, though; she likes to carefully observe other cats' problems and then analyze the best solution. But she does feel the need to help others. And I know people who read emotions aren't weird people. Just look at psychologists, or did I get that wrong? Those people who are experts at reading body language and other human things.

@Icefang: Did Icefang have this power at BSRP? And would her Clanmates know about this? And I think predicting the future would be a bit much, since medicine cats can't even do that, only read prophecies, but sensing danger sounds realistic.

What about this, she can sence danger before it happens,and can sence when it it near, but she doesn't know exactly when it will happen, and no one elts in her clan knows except her daughter Snowypelt, and Her kittypet friend Domino aka her daughters father and her ex mate, because I want her to move on and find some one in the clan.

horsespirit10, why would she have this power? As Icebreath has previously explained, in the books special abilities were given for a purpose -- so involved cats could successfully fulfill a prophecy. They contributed to important aspects of the books' overall plot and feel, no one can argue that. Giving a cat supernatural talents for the purpose of having them, should not be allowed. All it would cause is arguments, "perfect paws", "plot hogs", among other such annoying things.

When responding to this, don't use "so she can help others and prevent injuries". That is what a medicine cat does (for ThunderCan, it's Winterfern) with such abilities. They can look ahead into the future through star sent visions, because it is part of their job. Giving a random warrior said talents for the same usage would be pointless and unrealistic. Not to mention too far fetched for it to fit in the books. If your argument to this is Firestar, I will remind you -- he had his so he could fulfill a prophecy. Your cat currently has no huge plots to lead.

Before making up your answer, think about what I am saying. Are you requesting these powers for the sole purpose of having them, just so you can play a character with supernatural abilities? Or is there a true, genuine reason behind asking for them? Think about it.
