Welcome to Black Summer, a most unique RP forum.
Most other RPG sites tend to focus on one specfic area, be it the wild or a city, or on a specific species such as dogs or cats.. Here at Black Summer, we are blurring the lines of roleplay sites. You have the option to play a wolf in the wild, or a dog in the city, perhaps you might get lucky enough to be a human... As a wolf you will be able to do all of the things you would expect to be able to do, and then some. You could come along civilization, perhaps encounter a dog, pet, or even a human. Be wary however, as you can quickly become entangled in pack politics and gruesome battles. You will be able to develop your own unique personality and play style, meet fellow wolves and RP fanatics. As a dog you will have available to you a plethora of things to do, as the wolves do in their domain. However, you will be able to exist in a city environment, of course with the possibility to wander beyond its concrete bounds and explore a more wild side. Of course, like wolves, you have things to worry about as well, such as the dog catchers. Depending on which path you choose, you will be able to roleplay with various people and creatures who will provide you with a fun filled experience. You will be able to climb social ladders in packs and end up at a high ranking position such as Chief hunter, or perhaps even an Alpha. The packs here are all color coded, as you can see at the bottom of any site page. There are also unique situations which bind wolf and dog packs together. Packs such as the Falin and Skithe are somehow related, as are the Rork and Roadalino. Packs that are alike also tend to have the same sorts of characteristics, their collective personalities and body builds. Each pack is also unique in their dispositions and activities. There are the hot headed Aminra, there are also the benevolent Castrone, to the shadowy Skithe and the dark Rork. Each pack also has their own set of rankings, some also have ranks unique to only their pack. No matter where you choose to go, there is always something to do. I have waited for years to get this site up and running and I finally have! With help from my boyfriend of course  Anyway, I would like to say a few things before you all go off and be happy! First off there are two wolf pack lands that are not visible at this time. They will not be visible until I have chosen an Alpha for them. DO NOT BEG TO BE AN ALPHA! I'll go crazy! However, you can ask if you send me (Casino) a PM with the following information: 1) Sample post for the wolf you will have as an Alpha. 2) Why you want to be an Alpha. 3) Are you going to be active? Please send that in to me and I will look it over. Know that I will also be looking at your bio for that character to decide if your wolf has the best fit personality *hint* *hint*. Now for the dogs. The same application applies for dogs as it does for wolves. At the moment, we have no Dog Alphas. *Tear* But we soon will! Anyway, I might not make my decision right off just to make sure that you yourself are indeed active. If I already know you then you get a little bit more of push than others that I do not know. Unless you know Nate and he can vouch for you XD. One last little thing left before I let all ya'll go. Please, do not, and I mean, do not, ask to be an Admin or a Mod. It ticks me off. Don't ask. Just don't. Or a human, again, no ask to play a human.
