what tickets did you get for this year patches?
The platinum price tickets remind me of when I spend $800 for platinum tickets to the l word convention. Which eneded up being cancelled and I got no refund. I learnt my lesson lol. So if i attend next year I might just get the day pass.

There aren't many people you can complain to in that situation. I once spent $650 on an event that got cancelled, with no refund, and I simply couldn't figure out who to ask. Tried the company (no response), the police weren't interested, what could I do but waIlk away?
At least Hub are getting better at their events. If you buy tickets within 4 to 5 months of the event, they usually work out. Once the guests are announced, and if it hasn't been canned between now and 4 months out, you can be pretty certain it'll go ahead.
Day tickets are just as good as platinum. I ordered mine a month and a bit before the last one, and still got really good seats.

I'll probably be going; I have to save a lot of money though (I'm planning to get a V.I.P pass) I wonder who the guests will be... I'm hoping the Phelps brothers will come again but I'd love to see Evanna Lynch there. So excited for this!

Just a quick update, the rumour around the convention organizers is that Hubwarts 2 will be cancelled. It's 2 months out, and they have no guests. If they can't get them by now, they're not going to.
Hope those who have bought tickets get an announcement from them soon. My guess is they'll contact you a week before the con and say it's not on. The only advice I can give in that situation is to KEEP AT THEM. MAKE them refund you the ticket price, don't be nice about it, be PERSISTANT.
I hope it doesn't come to that, but it's a very good chance this event will not happen.

This would suck if they do but seeing as i wasn't buying tickets until they announced some stars i'm not out of pocket. I hope it still goes ahead though.

My friend and I were waiting on guests before buying tickets too
In this situation, I feel kinda bad for Hub... They announce an event in the hopes that people will buy tickets thus providing them with the funds to bring guests out but people (like myself) prefer to wait until guests are announced before booking... then Hub see it as 'lack of interest' and cancel the event
***I want them to cancel Whedonverse and bring Franz out the week before to Oz Comic Con instead
