'Versal Group: Members Posts: 6 Member No.: 38 Joined: 8-May 06	What the hell, might as well show you folks what people say my actual talent is (Because it sure ain't writing). This sketch is based off of 'Jaynestown' when Wash first sees the monument of Canton. Did this entirely in automatic HB pencil. This is my latest of the crew, and going retrograde will mean that the pictures will get worse as I post 'em, But I just wanted to start to show what I do and see what you folk think of it, which is kinda what this thread is going to be about. The Pilot With Problems Group: BDV Moderators Posts: 183 Member No.: 54 Joined: 13-May 06	Takes a deep breath and blows the dust off the thread Ah shoot, all the pictures went with it. Guess I'll just have to put something else in to make up for it. This is fairly recent finished it about a month or so ago. There are innumerable flaws (see:collarbone) in the image, but despite them there is still a likeness here. Combine that with the fact that I did this with no pencil presketch (so basically I started with the right eye and went from there :D ), I guess with this image I am satisfied with the overall quality. Though I am sorry, the paper was a bit bigger than my scanner, and as a result some of the edge is cut off and/or blurry. I belive the original image I sketched from is Glau's portrait in her section of the Firefly visual companion. (Posted Image)
