Description: "Get to know your Big Damn Friends" =D

I just wanted to see where you people are from <.<
It can get very interesting, for example, I'm from the US, and I know people that live in Australia, Japan, and whatnot =3
I'm from Nashville, Tennessee, born and raised!
And I hate country music xD
NOTE: If you don't feel comfortable posting your city, you don't have to ^_^ Just like, your state/territory, or at least country.

One of the Highlander board folks... some of you may know LostDog, flies a forest service plane up here.. He snapped this pic for me. You can just see the side of the mountain in that shot.. :)

Born in Albany, New York, but raised in a painfully small town in the armpit of Pennsylvania

I was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, lived for a while in Norfolk, Virginia (while in the Navy) Then moved to Tucson, Arizona for a short time, then back to Madison, and I'm now living out in the middle of nowhere, northern Wisconsin, on a county road near the tiny town of Owen. Being from Madison never felt like being a big city boy, except when I'm in this part of the state.

Tough question. Let's see...I was born in Esteban, Saskatchewan (Canada), left as soon as I turned eighteen, moved to Quebec for a year, then left for Nunavut (at the time, Northwest Territories). Moved across the North for a year and a half, doing the Franklin thing, then I headed way south to Mexico, and left after requiring a spinal tap because of a barstool in Tijuana. Headed further south still, I ended up living in Brazil for two years, then I returned to Canada to actually work and become not-practically-homeless. I'm living in Calgary, Alberta (still Canada) currently.
So, I was born in Saskatchewan, but the Northwest Territories are what I consider my origin.

I was born, raised, and am still living in Modesto, CA, which according to Google is 293 miles south of the Ertia.

Born in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, right next to the power plant
Moved when I was...*does the math*...13 to The Middle of Nowhere, Wisconsin.
Soon to be relocating to college though.

I come from the land Down Under! Proudly born and raised in Sydney, Australia!
No, we don't see kangaroos in the street, and no, we don't all talk like Steve Irwin (THANK GOD!) :D

Amen to that, Zen. Proud Texan here. I love my state, but am not too thrilled with the town I live in. The town, sitting almost in the middle of the state, is exactly two miles long and two miles wide; in other words, incredibly gorram small. Since I lived in/around Ft. Worth until my sophomore year of high school, it took some getting used to, but I've adjusted to sleepy, small town life fairly well.

LOL. Noooo. I used to keep them as pets, but the smell just got to me after a couple of years. Now I have a platapus named Frank ;)
