| "Hey Shanti, long time no speak." said Darren, smiling. "I know you're goin' to yell at me for not contactin' you for a spell, so I'm just goin' to be quiet for a few moments and let you yell." Darren waited for five minutes, then continued "Are you done? Good. I apologize for not wavin' you for so long. It's just been that I've been extremely busy in makin' sure the engines on this ship keep turnin'. Well just the port one anyways. Also I've been busy tryin' to keep Banner from gettin' into any serious trouble, which so far he hasn't, but you know Banner." Darren rolled his eyes, then said "So how have you been doin' lately? Are you keepin' up on your readin'? Keepin' out of trouble? Are you still makin' those strawberry pancakes that I like? You know it's been awhile since I've had some. Perhaps I need to take a much needed vacation." The smile faded from his face, as he continued "There was a guy named Dom, said he worked for Vecto Ventus. He kept askin' me about some sort of cargo onboard the Perseus. He was also askin' about you and Banner too. I told him I didn't know about any cargo or your whereabouts. He kept grillin' me and grillin' me about it until I finally told him the truth." Darren took a deep breath, then said "I only told him about Banner and not you, Shanti. I figured if he went for Banner he'd wind up beaten up somethin' fierce. After I told him what I knew, he just left. I don't know where he went or where he's goin', but I'm hopin' he won't go anywhere near Jinye." Darren looked at the time display on the screen, then sighed as he heard one of the engineers yell at a tech. Smiling at the CorPad's screen, Darren finally said "Well I gotta go. Appartently one of the tech's screwed up somethin' and now I've got to go fix it. Hope to hear from you soon, Shanti. I miss you very much." Darren paused for a few seconds, then said in closing "I almost forgot to tell you Banner says hi, at least I think he said hi. Does two grunts and a fart count as a hi?" |

| Hey Shanti, Don't know if you've gotten my last wave or not. Perhaps you've been a little too busy maybe. I hope that they're treating you well over there. Still haven't seen my boss about getting some vacation leave yet. I got side tracked with having to convince my boss's boss about not firing a very good employee, named Mick. He's a good guy, a little annoying, but good nonetheless.' Also had to answer some questions regarding the two bombings that we had. Don't worry I'm safe and am no way in trouble or anything like that. Just had to describe some people and the like. Well I haven't seen, heard, or smelled Banner much of late. I'm guessing he must've snuck off onboard a ship and he's bugging someone else now. Well the elevator stopped at my floor and I guess I've got to go back to work now. Hope you get this, Shanti.
