The Tale So Far

September, 1741:

Madre de Dios, a Spanish galleon loaded with gold, is on her way back to Europe with her convoy. But an ambush lies in wait for her in the Inaguas – the Sea Hound is planning a bold assault on the larger ship, her pirate crew willing to risk it all for gold and glory. NPC Bio

Name: John Isaac Glover

Nickname/Alias: Due to the overabundance of Johns, he has almost always been referred to by both family and friends by his middle name Isaac.

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Rank/Occupation: Marine Private

Appearance: Glover is relatively tall at 6'2", and is quite strongly built. Even when in full uniform it is apparent to anyone that he is a man of above average strength. His eyes are small and green, and set a ways apart between a long yet thin nose. His hair is a sort of dirty blond, which he tries to keep relatively short. His high cheek bones lead down to a rounded chin.

Personality: Glover is generally jovial in nature, and more than happy to strike up a conversation with someone, especially if it concerning women or alcohol. He does become indignant however when people use words that he believes to be snobbish or bombastic, (words such as bombastic for instance), which is more than likely due to his lack of education. Overall Glover is a loyal marine who is proud to be in the service of the crown.

Bio: Glover was born to a poor yet respectable family in the East End of London. His father worked long hard hours in a steel mill to support his family, while his mother took care of his six siblings, as there were eventually, at home. Glover had been the second child, and thus he had helped with much of the caretaking of his younger siblings. Glover learned to be independent, and at the age of 16 informed his parents that he was going to join the army to help support them financially. Glover did so, and after his training was assigned almost immediately to a post in Boston. Whether Glover liked it or not, his regiment became a marine regiment soon thereafter, and Glover saw service on several ships before being assigned to his post in Barbados.

Birthplace: London, England

Family: Father, mother, six siblings, all living.

Skills: Glover is strong, and thus an excellent melee fighter, his aim with a musket is not terrible either.

Weaknesses: Though Glover would not be described as stupid, one might describe him as lacking knowledge and education.

Example Appearances: Former temp character

Often Played By: Ian
