The Tale So Far

September, 1741:

Madre de Dios, a Spanish galleon loaded with gold, is on her way back to Europe with her convoy. But an ambush lies in wait for her in the Inaguas the Sea Hound is planning a bold assault on the larger ship, her pirate crew willing to risk it all for gold and glory. But Sea Hound is both predator and prey, as the HMS Steadfast closes in for another encounter with her quarry. The deadly showdown between the three forces is fast approaching...

The different threads, while being played/written simultaneously, happen at different times in game. They're listed below according to their approximate in-game chronology.

"Approximate chronology", because sometimes threads shift in time, e.g. a player starts a thread, but it takes some time until others respond and they bring info from newer threads that occurred in the meantime. And sometimes threads, especially conversation threads, aren't fixed to a certain point in time because they don't reference any recent story events.

While Steadfast is anchored:

Lady Diana receives Thorne's report about Persephone.

(2) Heavy Heel
Wallace meets Costa. Cathleen (newly arrived) meets Costa.

(3) Replacements
New marines, including Crawford, are assigned to Steadfast.

(4) Safe Ashore Jack
Mercy meets MacFarlane. Also ashore: Roberts, Macnair. Cathleen discovers Mercy in disguise.

(5) Negotiations
Remizov seeks audience with Adm. Westchester.

(6) A Ball Like No Other
Reception and ball at the Rathborne home.

(7) Follow-up of an eventful party
Edmund Campbell makes inquiries about his missing wife, Georgiana. Mercy and Cathleen try to visit Georgiana.

(8) A Meeting Full of Secrets
Diana summons Locke.

(9) Making Friends
Annie Williams visits Mercy Blakesley on the day after the ball.

(10) Delicate Matters
Captain Mitchell and bounty hunter Sykes discuss a possible job in the aftermath of Georgiana's disappearance.

(11) Serenade for a Cheated Husband
Mitchell investigates, questions Levantin, meets with Sykes.

(12) Visiting the Admiral
Crane arrives in the West Indies and reports to Westchester.

(13) Pressing Issues
A press gang on the job.
