Welcome to Beat to Quarters, a Play-by-Post Text Roleplay set in the early-mid 18th-century. It's the Age of Sail, and also the age of Piracy here in the West Indies. Will you fight for King and Country and uphold the law here at the edge of colonial civilization? Or will you pillage and plunder to your black heart's content? The wind's a-blowin' and the sea awaits, so prepare for adventure...
Following the chaotic battle at sea and the resulting sinking of the Persephone, both the pirates and the navy have gone to ground. The crew of The Sea Hound makes port in Tortuga, hostages and loot in tow, while The Steadfast has docked in Barbados to lick her wounds.
Featured Player:

Davie Roberts, James Macnair

CP plays two well-conceived and very different able seamen on Steadfast. With CP's inspired, exciting and often humorous postings life aboard the Navy ship is surprising and thoroughly enjoyable.
