Title: Club Minutes & Announcements
Description: Here's what you missed last time at club
Bri-Chan - September 16, 2010 11:58 PM (GMT)
MINUTES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
One of my duties as secretary for club is to keep track of "minutes" at club and e-board meetings. As an extension of this duty, I'm going to post the important things that occur at each club meeting, in hopes that if any of our fellow members miss a meeting, they can check here and know what's going on.
I'll update this thread weekly and I will note in each post the date of the meeting. So keep up and enjoy!
Much love,
Bri-Chan

~Voting on FeelGood anime to preview:
Options included: Spice and Wolf, Hetalia, Slayers, Midori Days, Baka and Test, and Ugly Yet Beautiful World.
Ultimately, Baka and Test won with 9 votes. The other series had 6, 4, 5, 1, and 1 respective votes.
~Watched four episodes of Baka and Test; Takes place at a high school where grades really are everything. Placement exam scores dictate the quality of your learning environment (higher score = better conditions), and the series focuses on the quirky characters of Class F, the lowest ranking students. Fed up with their lot in academic life, they decide to declare battle to improve their situation.
The school permits academic-based battles between students through avatars (adorable chibi ones, of course!), and outcome can result in switching of classrooms and school equipment. Of course, this is an anime so the characters are highly eccentric and hilarity ensues.

That whole Friday-classes-on-Wednesday thing isn't supposed to happen until November 9th (because Veteran's Day is on Friday, Nov 11th) :o
