Meaning, we allow cussing, swearing, violence, etc… Keep your signatures 500[width] pixels x 350[height] pixels. If your signature is cluttering/stretching the board, I will remove it without warning. NO CHAT SPEAK WHATSOEVER! Four real life months is one year on Azeri, so each real life month will equal out to be three Azeri months. Season changes once a month. ACTIVITY Random activity checks will be held, be sure to get on and reply to them. I will not send out emails or mass PM about activity checks anymore, because if you are a active and dedicated member, you will be watching for them. If the activity checks are not replied too by the date stated, you will be deleted. Even new members will need to reply to these activity checks. If you are deleted all of your characters/horses/residents/etc will be deleted, and if you rejoin, you will have to start over from scratch. I usually give about 2-3 weeks for you to reply to the activity checks, so you have no reason not to post there. CHARACTERS There really is no limit to how many characters you can have as long as you keep them all active. You may only create up to three stallions though (colts bred and born on here in the conceive do not count on this rule). If you already have three created stallions, you may buy an extra stallion slot using Point System. Keep all of your characters on one account, don't make multiple accounts just for more characters. If you are caught doing this, the account with less posts will be deleted without notice. When creating your character, be sure to use the character posting template provided. If we find an issue on your application we will reply to it, telling you what to change/update/add. We do not care for you to make your own application as long as all the categories we ask for you to fill out are included, in fact we encourage you to make your own application if you wish to enhance creativity and put more personality into it, but we will not complain if you use the plain one we have provided. You can add as many categories as you wish into the application as long as the ones we ask of you are included somewhere. Make sure to look at the already taken names and face claims, don’t use something that someone else already is, you will be asked to change it. YOU MAY NOT ROLEPLAY UNTIL YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN ACCEPTED! (Myself or a mod will reply to it saying that your accepted and than your topic will be locked to show that it's accepted.) ALLIANCES Light: There are quite a few different types of lights: a. The peacemakers that don’t want to see any more fighting and believe that the darks can be transformed to where all three of the alliances can get along as one. b. The peacemakers that have absolutely no faith in darks and just want to see all the darks dead and live on with just lights and neutrals. Almost every light is the same, all of them are very family orientated and sweet, their always willing to forgive and cannot stand to fight and will only fight when necessary. Neutral: The neutrals are caught in the middle and have no overall basic personalities. They are the ones that it doesn’t matter what their personality is, they just don’t give a flying hoot about the battle and refuse to drag themselves into it. They stay on the sidelines and let the darks and lights do as they will. Although the mares do tend to side in the battle to an extent if they love a stallion that is either light or dark, they may side with the alliance of that stallion, but don’t be surprised if they still remain in the middle choosing no sides. Dark: There are quite a few different types of darks: a. The war makers that want to see bloodshed just about every day of their life. b. The disloyal, untrustworthy, pathological liars. c. The ones that do in fact have honor, do not lie, are loyal to their herds and herds only and will fight only if necessary, but when they do have to fight it certainly doesn’t bother them a bit. d. The ones that have had a scarred past and have been hurt to the point where they’ve practically given up on life and it’s left them cruel and uncaring to any other equine. Most Darks will generally try their best to fight to the death, even when the opponent begs for mercy, the majority of the time the mercy isn’t given. And don’t be surprised if you find a dark that doesn’t believe in love, because most don’t. Now these guidelines are just that, guidelines. The personalities of the lights and darks are not limited just to those explained, that’s just for you to get a basic idea of what the alliances mean. Just because a parent is one alliance does not mean the foal will be. The foal will be whatever alliance that the person that plays it wants it to be. Just because they have two light parents does not mean the foal has to be a light, just because they have two dark parents does not mean the foal has to a dark. The foal will be whichever of the three you choose it to be. They don’t have to follow in the paths of their parents. POSTING Azeri is a literate site with a posting minimum of 200 words. This is not that hard to obtain, as long as you are descriptive. Azeri does allow liquid time, which means your characters can be in more than one topic at a time, just keep track of them all and post whenever it's your turn. Don't be a topic hog and respond to a lot of topics and than never reply within 2-3 days, that's what causes sites to get inactive. Only take on what you can handle. Spelling and grammar checks ARE YOUR FRIEND! Dear lord, if you are old enough to sign up and make a character, you are old enough to use a spelling and grammar check! Type everything up in a Word Processor! It takes like what, a minute at most, to check on these things. PLEASE USE SPELLING AND GRAMMAR CHECKS! No powerplaying or godmodding, which is basically taking control of another members character. (Unless you are given permission by the other member to do so for say, like a plot or something you two have planned). CLAIMING Only stallions 3+ years of age may claim lands, and they are only allowed to rule one land at a time. For the lands to be available to claim there cannot be a stallion already residing in those lands. (If there hasn't been a post there for two weeks or more the posts and topics there are deleted and the lands are back up for claim). If you want a land that is already in another stallions claim you will have to battle for them. Only stallions that have lands are allowed to claim mares. Dark stallions can claim other Darks and Neutrals. Light stallions can claim other Lights and Neutrals. Neutral stallions can claim any alliance. Mares may be force claimed if they are not willing to join you (meaning you'd have to defeat the mare in a battle to claim her). If a stallion already holds claim to a mare you want your stallion to have, than you must challenge that stallion for her. (Your in bad trouble if she doesn't want to join you though, because than that's two battles for one mare, he he he). BREEDING Each parent must be 3+ years of age. Darks can breed other Darks or Neutrals. Lights can breed other Lights or Neutrals. And Neutrals can breed any alliance. No graphic breeding, no one likes horse porn. Mares can only breed once a year and breeding is only available in spring and fall. Foals can be born anytime after foal stats are given. I or a mod make the foal stats. Player of the mare gets the automatic decision of who gets to play the foal. To breed, just go to the Conceive. Both players must post the stats of their horse that is breeding. (Player of the mare post the mares stats and the player of the stallion post the stallions stats -- basically whatever you posted in the Character Biographies, excluding the history and personality.) FIGHTING Each horse is allowed one attack per post and only up to five attacks. Once each horse has finished it's five attacks, I or a mod will judge the fight. If a fight hasn't been replied to in over 48 hours, the last horse to make a post automatically wins.
