OK, everyone writes different, some people write better one way than others. I myself write better if I put myself in the horses position.
(Example: Instead of saying She, He, (horses name) and stuff, I use I and me. Like I’m latterly the horse)
I think about what the horses surroundings are, but I don’t normally get into surroundings much, but every now and then I do.
I mainly stick to the horses personality and thoughts/feelings.

Here’s a example of my stallion Thade from the other RPG I am on, Fronia.

Here’s the player before the one before me’s post:
QUOTE
She walked in slowly looking around her wondering what had ever happened to the filly she had adopted. She shrugged it off and looked around her yawning hugely. She stood calmly eyeing the other mare. She smirked ever so slightly. This herd was pathetic. She should've waited and gone with a true stud. A quarter horse. Well there was no way in all of the lands here that this stallion would ever sully her. She'd give herself only to a quarter horse of who's lineage was nearly as great as her own. She snorted loudly and pawed at the ground boredly.

Here’s the one before me’s post:
QUOTE
She held a steady stance awaiting until the male spoke to give him her attention. In mention of being promoted lead; her dial gave a slight nod. He was a smart one in that sense; as she'd let no other creature command her..with subtle exceptions in various situaitons. Her mind was comfortable as she watched him trot off..but she was drawn sharply back to the present as another female came into sense. Ah, she may have had a temper with the opposite of her gender; but she could truly cause havoc with other mares. Usually she was content amongst her kind as long as respect was evident, this mare walked in with a sickly arrogance; confirmed in her snort and pawing the ground. Her auds drew backward as she noted that smirk pasted upon ther other's jaw. don't make me fix that gesture she hissed within her mind. Another train of thoughts mingled with the current, she hoped that this stud would bring home some hardy specimens; as she was sure neither Thade, nor she would allow for anything less than expectations. She didn't waste her breath upon this mare; but the language of her structure was that of warning. Though dark as they may be, all equine know that respect is the base of the structure of a herd, those of darker minds simply don't see a problem with letting blood fall.

And here is my post:
QUOTE
I walked in after Anima Chiara, I had to admit, this mare wasn’t what I was looking for, I didn’t like her attitude. True, she had the right to be mean and un-kind, and as cold hearted as she wanted to be, but she was lacking respect. And that’s the main thing he wanted from a mare. I looked at Sabbia, noting the look on her face, she was thinking the same as I was. That this mare better straighten up, and quick. I wasn’t one for much patience, the three strikes you out rule didn’t work for me. You did as you were told right when I said it, no other chances, and then I made up your mind for you. I looked at Anima Chiara when she snorted and pawed. I glared evilly at her before reaching out, nipping her hard on the rump I snorted and shook my head. I had claimed her. Offered her my home, protection, and as long as I received it back, respect. But so far, I had received none, and this was making matters work. I looked at her and said, Respect. Learn it, live by it. I had a temper and I certainly wasn’t afraid to show it, even in front of my mares. I suppose I should give an introduction. Since neither of the mares had stated their names to each other, which you really couldn’t blame Sabbia, she only stated to me her name when we arrived here. She has given me respect, so I respected her as well. But Anima Chiara, this mare was a disappointment so far to the Darks. Anima Chiara. I said to Sabbia, nodding towards the disrespectful mare. I looked at Anima Chiara and said, Sabbia, current lead mare over this herd. I turned, the draft mare I had claimed obviously hadn’t showed up yet. I snorted, so far, the only worthy mare I claimed so far was Sabbia, but I had to admit, the draft Danny was better than this Anima Chiara. Once the mare had learned respect, she may not be so bad herself. But this, we would see. I wouldn’t give her long in my herd if she didn’t learn it soon, I had no time for mares like her. And like stated. I don’t like to talk much and I have no patience.
