G U I L D . R U L E SAll members, upon applying have read and agreed to ALL the following rules and policies and are expected to abide by them at all times. Rules and policies are always subject to change or creation by officer and/or GM consensus and are to be made and edited with guild-benefit constantly in mind. Suggestions/questions/concerns are always welcome and encouraged.
These rules are not set up to spell out every situation and circumstance- we are not babysitters, and we expect our members to be able to self-regulate. To imply otherwise would be insulting. In any case, use your brains, own up to any mistakes, and lets not make this anymore painful than it has to be...

M E M B E R . C O N D U C T* Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Dur.
* Be mature and respectful of all WoW players, but especially your fellow guildmates. Harassment will not be tolerated in any way, shape, or form under our guild tag. Flaming, Trolling, Ninjaing, Abuse or any such stupidity of any type can result in suspension, demotion, or removal from the guild.
* Initiation into the guild is outlined in the application process. All members (save for founding members) will have gone through this and are accepted on merit. Also, consider us equal opportunity. No one will be discriminated against for sex, race, orientations (religious, sexual, political or otherwise) or age, but realize we are here for a GAME and not to hear anyone shouting at the rest us from their pedestals.
* Content in-game, chats, vent, and forums are 18+, but avoid abusive or excessive use of profanity. Any such use is never to be directed maliciously at another player. Any overly-sexual innuendo or content is considered unwelcome and strongly warned against. Use your head.
* No drama. Issues should be dealt with at the source, and as quickly and painlessly as possible between the members affected. We hope to avoid having situations that start as something minor and escalate into guild-wide problems. Fights between members are expected to be resolved quickly and discreetly by said members. Do not drag others into conflicts and do not troll the forums. Officers are not babysitters but if unavoidable they will intervene- which will likely result in bans for the offending members until they can handle themselves accordingly.
* GQuits are not taken lightly. A member is always welcome to leave our ranks should they find we are not the guild for them, though we'd hope to have some sort of notice beforehand. If problems are arising that cause you to consider leaving us, please talk to an Officer/GM who may be able to help remedy things first. However, we understand that we can't be the perfect guild for everyone and while we wish those who leave luck, it needs to be understood that a Gquit is not to be taken lightly. Under any circumstance, those who leave guild (as well as those kicked) will have their DKP erased as well as any Forum/Webpage registrations, and forfeit their right to use guild resources including but not limited to: Chat channels, Vent servers, Forums, Cbox, etc. Anyone ever wishing to return at a later time will have to start over with the guild. That means, re-registering, reapplying, waiting for approval of Officers, and starting at the bottom of DKP, slot priorities etc.
~~~~~
T H E . G M . A N D . O F F I C E R S* The GM and Officers are in place to keep things running smoothly. Listen to them and obey. They've been carefully picked and are going to be kept in check by their fellow officers; they're not going to be out to make anyone's life miserable and what's best for the guild is their priority.
* Problems with any officers or the GM may be brought up to the others and will be dealt with accordingly. No one's "power" is guaranteed.
~~~~~
F O R U M S:* Forums are to be used regularly. Accepted members must register on the forums if they have not already done so at the time of their applications as it is the primary communication and research tool that we will use to educate and inform our members and schedule raids.
* Members should register under their main character's name so we know who is accounted for and who is posting which also helps keep out unwanted bots/spammers, etc...
* Do not spam for post counts.
* Anything "Not Suitable For Work" (NSFW)
MUST be labeled as such.
* Posts, user avatars, etc not in good taste or considered inappropriate are subject to being edited and/or deleted. Use good judgment and make your posts in the proper sections.
~~~~~
C H A R A C T E R S . G E A R . & . S P E C S* Members are expected to be skilled in their class and competent in-game. Leveling to 80 doesn't make you an expert or automatically mean you know all the fundamentals. No one is an authority on one class; be open to suggestions.
* We require that members gear and spec for guild-benefit. It is unavoidable if we want to progress. No one will ever be forced to gear/spec a certain way, but understand that your raiding slot may still depend on it. We cannot progress without certain class/spec make-ups and if you don't fit the bill, we don't (and probably won't) take you along.
* Respect is to be earned, not expected. Regardless of your abilities/experience/talent, you are not the end all be all of a class or this game. Acting like an elitist will get you nowhere fast in this guild. Be helpful, but don't bully.
* We ask that members keep their professions up to date and accessible to their fellow guild-mates. While these are on the individual level and you are free to buy and sell at your discretion, your conduct in such matters towards your guild and those within it are still subject to our general policies. Be fair.
G U I L D . B A N Khttp://z3.invisionfree.com/Arrested_Develo...p?showtopic=193* The tabs you are able to see and the amount of items you will be able to withdraw will depend on your rank. Initiates, Alts, and Non-Raiders will find themselves especially limited in the number of items they can take. This is not to be an inconvenience but simply to avoid any ninjas or the like.
* Officers & the GM are in charge of distributing items from the gbank. You are free to make requests, but they have the right to deny you if you're asking for something unreasonable.
* Do NOT take from the bank to sell what other people have put there. The guild bank is not to fill your pockets with- it is there as a resource for all guild members.
* Don't expect to use guild bank slots as your own personal storage- if you put something in, it's fair game if someone else can use it!
* Guild bank logs are monitored. Be on your honor-
L O O T http://z3.invisionfree.com/Arrested_Develo...php?showtopic=6* Mains are only allowed to take gear that fits their RAIDING specs according to what will benefit the guild's progression in future raids. Second sets/PvP sets/Etc are a non-priority, and is only allowed for bid if an item is going to be sharded/trashed/etc.
* Members get first priority on bidding, followed by initiates on their trial period, who are for all purposes considered future members and will have opportunities to receive loot for their raiding spec.
* We use and strongly believe in a DKP system. Please be aware of this and ready to use it as implemented.
* Need before greed is always used as a guideline and the Raid Leader/Loot Master is entitled to restrict loot by classes or members as they see fit for progression. We expect all member gear to be competitive and worked on outside of raids. True "need" is when an item is the only upgrade available to a member, not when someone has a blue item they've failed to replace.
R A I D . R U L E S . & . C O N D U C T (outlined in our raiding forums)
http://z3.invisionfree.com/Arrested_Develo...hp?showtopic=44* Priority on loot and raid slots are basically this: Members > Initiates > Second Sets / Alts
* Invites go out 15-30 minutes prior to a raid and those wanting to go are expected to be on time and ready. That means fully-repaired; having researched the fights ahead; carrying needed pots, consumables, ammo, poisons, etc.
* Raiders must listen to their Raid Leader, who is responsible for conducting a fun but productive raid.
* Excessive AFKs or lengthy disconnects will lose you your spot. You MUST give notice if you are going AFK during a raid for any reason and it needs to be less than 5 minutes.
* Members who do not show up and fail to warn the guild by posting on forums, will be docked 25 DKP per raid that they miss. Missing a whole week's worth of raids without notice, or otherwise habitual/problematic absences will result in a demotion until the issue is resolved.
