Foe may have mentioned that we were talking about doing a short movie at Dragoncon. Well, I thought about it and with lots of help from other AOMEr's, I came up with an idea.... It will be recorded at on one of the upper elevator entrances at the marriot.... maybe the 10th floor....This is to avoid people walking by and con staff getting on to us about crowding up the area ........The upper floors tend to be quiet..... What I will need (whoever wants to) is the scene where Wade (Capt'n Jack) gets in the elavator full of con goers in random costumes or plain clothes....This can be shot whenever. Just let me know if you want to be one of the random people in the "lift"... Here is the script make a copy if ye have lines
 Dead Man's Lift Jack: (walks up to Will and Liz at the Elavator) Boy, what ye be doin? Will: I'm going to take this lift down to meet some friends. Jack: (holding sword to Will's neck) I can't let you do that dear William.... If you go down on this lift I will be unable to fetch me rum from the bar. (Will stands back) Jack: Now, if you please....I'm a comindering this here lift..... (looks and Will and Liz) Nautical term., mate.......... Will: (pulls Liz's sword) I keep the promises I make Jack. My friends are waiting in the lobby for me. Norrington: (sword to Jack) By your leave, gentlemen, but I cannot allow you to have this elevator... my bathwater's getting cold CUT TO GIBBS: Awfully bad luck, tryin' to catch a lift this time of day. *short simple sword tift* (Can be plastic or real dull swords)... Jack, Will and Norrington *STILL SHOT OF WADE, TROY AND MYSLEF GOING PAST THE CAMERA FIGHTING* *BRIEF PAUSE, ELIZABETH CHASING AFTER YELLING* CUT TO LIZ: (*After giving up on trying to get them to stop*) Oh the con stench!!! *faints" CUT BACK TO FIGHT :*Jack trips up Will as he makes a dash for the elavator, Norington not far behind the both of them* CUT TO: Nadine and Mel: MEL: How'd this go all screwy? NADINE: Well, each wants the lift for himself, don' he? Mr. Norrington, I think, is tryin' to regain a bit of good hygene after passing out in the con suite las' night... 'Ole Jack's tryin' to make it down to the 5th floor where there's free rum...and Turner there, I figure he's tryin' to meet some friends down in the lobby for some singin' lessons...*whispers and nudges Mel...* Eunich... MEL: That elevator must be important...and worth a shiney penny... NADINE: Oh...tsk tsk...terrible temptation... MEL: If we was any kind of decent, we'd remove temptation from their path.... NADINE: He he! *both go into the elevator* *JACK gets knocked out during sword fight from running into wall* *CUT BACK TO WILL AND NORRINGTON FIGHTING* CUT TO : *Jack crawling in between Will and Norrington's legs as they fight as Jack makes a madd dash to the elavator, still dazed* *In Elavator full of AOME costumers and plain clothes* Jack: Looks like i just got the Last spot in the lift......... CUT TO GIBBS: The last spot!!! *Does Last spot dance* *CUT TO NORRINGTON AND WILL'S REACTION* Wade: Gentlemen, You will always remember this as the day you almost caught captain Jack *lift doors close* Roll Credits -------------------- "This forest is old, very old."

Original lines: Pintel: How'd this go all screwy? Ragetti: Well, each wants the chest for himself, don' he? Mr. Norrington, I think, is tryin' to regain a bit of honor. 'Ole Jack's tryin' to trade it to save his own skin..and Turner there, figure he's tryin' to settle some unresolved business twix him and his twice cursed pirate father... Pintel: That chest must be worth a shiney penny.... Ragetti: oh...tsk tsk...terrible temptation... Pintel: If we was any kind of decent, we'd remove temptation from their path.... Ragetti: he he! *both run off* ----- Half revised lines: (Mel I need your help with Pintel...since I think you'll be doing Pintel's lines...) Mel: How'd this go all screwy? Well, *looking through all thats going on Sat.* I am thinking the best time to do this will be sometime between the pizza party and before all the other events going on Sat. night. Those being: Wash wake, Dawn Look-a-like contest, Pirate party, etc....... Firming up a time is the next trick......hrmmm...I just had a look through the Tolkein track and im thinking 2 on Saturday. Mel, if your on a tight time crunch you can come in do your lines and book it. No need to stick around and watch filming of the other scenes......Although you can if you want....All are welcome to come watch us film it, then stick around to be in the last scene..... It shouldn't take any more than an hour, maybe 2 (highly unlikely).

I would think that individual parts could be filmed at various times as long as your shots are totally independent from others, but I'm not the director here, just speaking my mind.

Yeah, this is true. I am hoping I get it all at once. Just so I can be done with it. Hopefully right after the pizza party shouldn't be that big of a deal. Everyone will be full and some already in pirate gear.

Ok, I made some edits this past week. Some of those who had lines wanted them to be different. With that, this is teh final script. This is how it will go more or less ;P

You can wear any costume! Those in the elevator can be a variety of people. The only ones who need to be in a certain costume, are the ones with lines.
I'm guess we'll have to see how many we can fit in the elevator. Berg will cram as many people as he can in there . First come, first serve I'm supposing. -------------------- |
