hot summer day had gone past jesse was sitting on the soft sand as the sun had started to set the hot summer sun setting turned the hole sky red coldness filled the air she then laid down listening to the crashes of the waves soft footsteps approached her jesse did not move she new it couldn't be anything to serious.

Isabella eyes were clouded as she once again began to lose herself into her painful thoughts of the pasts. She know that she should not dwell on such regrets, that her master would be sorely disappointed for her thoughts. She knew that she should be forever greatful to him for giving her this life; for showing her this new world where things of unimaginative happenings occur. However, in the back of her mind and in the very depths of her heart she knew that while she was greatful, she would forever hate him so. He was the one would took life out of her, he was the one who gave reason for her guilt...

Isabella closed her eyes, No...no. No more of these thoughts. Cast away the these doubts and this guilt; it is far to late now. She opened her eyes and gazed sadly at the horizon before her; oh how she would like to be the ocean before her, to be cleansed of the guilt and sorrow that hunts her; to be free.

She closed her eyes once more and turned away from the sea and ever so slowly walked along the white sandy beach shore lost in her own thoughts until she stop startled at the sudden presence of another...

Jesse felt the footsteps closer now she sat up looking up at the figure and smiled "Isabella ",what a surprise ,come and join me "said jesse as she pointed at the sun set "amazing isn't it "

[Rogue Van Helsing]

There she stood on the sea cliffs watching the horizon blend into twilight for a split second, but that second turned into a loving moment. From the corner of her eye, Rogue saw two figures in conversation, away from prying eyes. She kneeled down on one knee and focused her monocle slightly.

"Izzy and Jess" she said to herself as she opened her eyes fully. She stayed hidden away from the two vampires observing them from a distance.

Isabella smiled a sad smile and nodded her head as she to turned to look at the setting sun. It was moments like this that made her resent her master for turning her; no more would she be able to feel the warmth of sun light again, only the cold of the dark. She turned to look at Jesse and for that one moment envied her, for she would know what it was to feel guilt.

"Yes young one, it quite the sight." she paused and looked thoughtfully on her companion, "Do you miss it?"

[Rogue Van Helsing]

The glare of the horizon caught the glint in her eye as Rogue turned her attention to the waves beating off the cliff. Hunting near the ocean shore was a first for her...but another first was: why were Vampires at the beach?

jesse faced isablela "miss what !!! ?"said jesse as she sat up

Isabella tilted her head away from the younger vampire and looked out at the setting sun once more, "The sun..." she nodded her head towards the horizon and continued on, "you are one of the youngest vampires in the Covent and as such the ones who comes closest to remember the sight, feel and warmth of the sun."

jesse put her head down looking at the sand she couldn't even feel the warmth from the hot sun on the sand she looked up at Isabella and nodded "yes i do remember,the warmth of the sun the sand the hot earth"said jesse as she stood up and walked towards the waves.

Isabella followed the younger vampire with her eye, and watched sadly. "Its funny isn't it? To miss something that we once take granted..." She closed her eyes one more as she thought of her brothers, they were her only regret. Even now, she could still see their faces to the smallest detail, as though it has only yesterday that she last saw them.

Isabella shook hear head to clear such thoughts, it would do no good to dwell on things that can not be changed. She glanced at Jesse once again before she slowly walked behind her and place a comforting hand on her shoulder...

"i chose to be this Isabella!,and i do not regret it i wanted Lestat to turn me! and he did"said jesse as she put her head down 'i feel in love with lestat!"said jesse as she sat down on the sand.

[Rogue Van Helsing]

Ah, Lestat... Van Helsing thought back to her last encounter with the vampire...she left her mark on him as he left his mark on her.

Isabella raised an eyebrow at the younger vampire's response, "I meant no offense young one," she paused as she looked back towards the sea with a thoughtful expression on her face and called out to the empty air around them. "When do you plan on revealing yourself hunter?" she asked in cold voice, her eyes harding as they flicker towards the darkness...

"Theirs a hunter among us?"said jesse turning her head to the direction where Isabella was staring at!

[Rogue Van Helsing]

Rogue smirked and hid her amusement.

It took them this long to notice me? Seems like their slippin'

She reached 'round the tree, pulled out her dagger. Van Helsing stroked the hilt, the dragon carved, jewel incrusted handle and gripped it firmly in her hand. What she wanted to know was: what was their next move.
