Great part, I feel sorry for Connie about her wanting a baby too. Maybe she could look agter her grandaughter whilst grace is at school, uni and stuff.

Hope Sam is there for connie and Grace.

Sorry it has been so long!

‘Mum?’ Heaving herself up she went to follow her mother, needing to know why she just walked out on her, she didn’t think anything had happened to upset her mother. Looking down to discover her mother in a heap at the bottom of the stairs with tears cascading down her red cheeks, her eyes beginning to puff from the sobs. ‘Mummy what is the matter?’ Kneeling beside her mother she gently pulled her closer to hug her.

‘N… nothing.’ A sobbed response wasn’t what she’d expected, however it is what she’d received from her mother.

‘I know that’s not true mummy, something has upset you.’

Her eyes looking to her daughter she swallowed hard, how could she tell her own daughter how jealous she was of her being pregnant, that this jealousy was going to eat away inside her every time she saw her hold her baby, or fed them. ‘I…’ Shaking her head she scrambled back to her feet trying to just get away.

‘Mum!’ Turning back to her daughter she saw her there hugging her bump with tears now falling down her cheeks. ‘You…you’re jealous of me. I’ve seen the look in your eyes before, you don’t want me to have my daughter… this is what you want.’ With a small nod she carried on up the stairs guessing her own daughter wouldn’t want to see her now that she would have to deal with losing everything she’d ever wanted.

Curling into her bed she continued to cry as she looked out on the rain falling, she wished she still had the love of a man so now she could be held in his arms and he’d be able to tell her all was going to be fine. Hugging herself she cried harder not registering someone climbing into bed with her until they pulled her back into a warm tender embrace.

‘Calm down you. Connie Beauchamp doesn’t do crying.’ The transatlantic accent took her by surprise until she turned realising she was in the arms of the man who’d only ever really cared for her.

‘Sam…’

‘Hush now Connie.’ Having her hair soothingly stroked she snuggled down into him, just needing comfort from someone. ‘Grace told me everything.’

‘She hates me doesn’t she?’ Her voice so quiet she remained curled up.

‘No, she is really quite worried about you.’

‘I want a baby…I want to have a bump, have a baby to love and feed.’ Sobbing into him she clung to him for dear life.

‘Connie, you need to think seriously about this, you will need to be there for Grace and her baby.’

‘I know, but I can’t stop the want for my own child. It’s been niggling at me for ages now, but it’s going to be too late.’ Gently he cupped her face in his soft hands, tilting her head so he could capture her lips, keeping a tender comforting connection between them he held her closer.

Her eyes fluttering open her eyes she stared directly into his. ‘I’ve missed you so much.’

‘Lucky I’ve missed you too then.’ A smirk forming on his lips he once again kissed her, hoping to be able to settle all her hearts desires.

Yay, another update and yay Sam is there to help. As I have said before I now hope things will get better for them all. I do feal really sorry for Connie seeing her daughter go through something she wants so much. Buutttttt Con and Sam

Yay,gald you have updated this although it has taken me a while to reply back! I am glad Sam is there, maybe things will change now and he can be there to help both Grace and Connie.
Cannot wait so see where you take this so I hope there is going to be more of this soon!
