I recently went looking for a new hard gun case on the internet, the one I wanted was a Flambeau single rifle case. The best deal I found (not by much, but the lowest cost overall) was from Special Airsoft Supplies, http//specialairsoftsupplies.com. Professional looking website, seemed OK. I ordered the item and waited for my shiny new case to arrive. Nothing came. I sent an e-mail asking if there was a problem. No response. I sent another e-mail asking for a response pointing out that if there was a problem they should contact me. No response. As I had paid by paypal I raised a dispute. Two messages were sent - no response to either. I did notice that the name of the guy who got the payment (Mark Woolley) was different to the name on the paypal account though, she is called Sarah Tingay. Either way, neither of them respond to e-mails. I finally raised the dispute to a claim with paypal, who informed me that the seller had given them a parcelforce tracking number. Problem was, it wasn't a parcelforce tracking number at all. I smelt a rat and advised them that I would be contacting my credit card provider if I didn't receive the item first thing Monday morning, to have the transaction reported as a fraud.
I have now received my rifle case, it arrived today (Monday) having been despatched on Friday, nearly 3 weeks after it was ordered and just after I threatened to notify my card provider of a fraudulent transaction, but I wonder if I would have received it if I hadn't made a fuss?
Possibly just bad admin on their part, but I'm not so sure. My advice - steer clear!
