Ok, I have The Sims Deluxe Edition (NOT sims2, lol), that keeps giving me an error everytime I try and install it on my XP-sp3 computer. Lets see, Auto start runs, loads a screen. I click on a button to install. Install sheild starts to run, and as the litte bar gets near the end.....up pops an error message about not enough space. ack.
There is 512mb mem, and 32gb free hd space. I have run antivirus software, adware and such....got rid of "junk" files, ran ccleaner...and dozens of reboots to no avail. Still the same error comes up. However, when I double clickon the install button....1. the first instance gives same error message. 2. second instance tells me it can't write a file. Any Ideas on how to fix this? PS: Sims 2 +uni+ nitelife run fine on this pc. |
