[Older Hokage]

Brian squints into the shadows, barely able to make out who is there.

"Syrus? Is that you?" He asks, moving toward the figure, "Where are we?"

[Syrus]

"yeah its me and i think we're in some sort of hidden duel arena.."

[Older Hokage]

Brian looked around the near empty room, noticing the strange marking on the floor.

"Why would there be a dueling arena down here?" He asked Syrus, "You think they'd have put it somewhere a little brighter...and a lot less depressing."

[Syrus]

"I know what you mean Brian.. Where do you suppose Jaden ran off to?" Syrus asked realizing his friend hadn't been seen for a long time..

[Older Hokage]

Brian looked around, now noticing that he and Syrus were the only ones present.

"I'm...not sure." He confessed with a shrug, "Maybe they already went back to the dorms."

Brian begins to search for an exit from the arena. He can't shake the feeling that something else might be down there, watching them.

[Syrus]

Syrus began to explore the old arena further..seeing if there was anything unsual about it..

[Machine Freak]

Zachary had snuck in from one of the open windows in the back of the old dorm. He had a slight scratch from where his leg caught on something sharp as he got in. He manuvered his way around the dark rooms and found the old chair that he normally sat in when he snuck in at night. He would stare at a painting that hung over the fireplace where the chair faced. Zacharys Ra uniform usually got very dusty whenever he came in here so it was hard to tell what color clothing he was wearing. Zachary moved silently through the room and sat in the old chair which made a squeeking noise as usual. he sat there pondering the painting of numerous Duel monsters, The rest of the room was in complete darkness except for the painting which was illuminated by moonlight thru a window to the east of it. Zachary rested his duel disk on the right side and sat for a few thinking of the painting.

Brian felt his hand run over some sort of lump on the wall. He stopped, and pressed against it, realizing it was a doorknob!

"Syrus, over here!" He called out, turning the knob, "I think I found a way out!"

Brian pushed as hard as he could, hoping that this door would lead to a way out.

[Machine Freak]

The silence of the room was broken when Zachary heard a voice coming from what seemed another part of the Dorm. Now on high alert Zachary reached over the arm of the chair his hair slightly getting in his eyes, He grabbed up his duel disk and ran to a very dark corneron the west side of the room. Noticing the broken leg of a chair next to him he grabbed it and hid in the shadows waiting to crack whatever it was over the head. Stories of the strange things that happened in this old dorm began racing thru his head and he was wondering if tonight was the night he met his maker. brushing his hair out of his view he thought to himself. "Im gonng go down swinging"

Syrus was too busy exploring to hear Brian..

The door Brian was pushing against began to fall open...

And then it swung open suddenly, dumping the teen onto the floor of the next room. A cloud of dust flew up, and Brian got up coughing and sneezing.

"Argh! I'm just so clumsy today!" He thought.

Looking around, Brian saw another figure nearby.

"Who's (cough cough) there?" He shouted.

[Machine Freak]

Zachary just stood there as the door swung. "Whos there ?" the figure said. Zachary's brain raced and came up with an idea. In his deepest booming voice he said... "I am the great spirit of this residence, and you have disturbed me, turn back now or be forever banished into darkness!" Yeah he thought that ought to send whoever it is running. Zachary then took a step back *a creeking noise followed and then a crack as the wooden boards fell beneath him and sent his foot down* he felt something warm and wet running down his ankle and into his shoe. "Sh!t he said over and over again, Um.. do not come any closer or you will perish a hundred times over!"

Syrus continued to be oblivious to the others..
